Our kitchen sink was clogged. Harold came right in to get the work started. Needless to say, I was thrilled with how quick he was able to get the problem resolved. This company will not provide any estimate (of any kind) until sending out a plumber who charges at least $68 for the visit. They also claim that a permit needs to be acquired in parallel with a water heater replacement, or any job that involves gas lines. This is simply not how most other companies operate and so there's too much competition to recommend this one.

This was the second time I have used The Plumbing Doctor. Once again I am impressed with the experience. They will definitely be my "go to" plumbing company moving forward. The plumber was able to diagnose our issue (a leak in a pipe in our ceiling) but that was where the positive feedback ends. When I booked the appointment, they said "we will give you a 20 minute heads up when he's heading over. If it's within business hours, we will waive the service fee. If it's after business hours, you will be charged the fee." But I don't actually get a say on when they're coming so how am I supposed to know if I'm paying the fee or not? Am I also just supposed to wait at home all day for him to show up? Finally, when the guy was here, he said it'd be anywhere from $150 to $250 to diagnose the issue, and once he found it he seemed to just arbitrarily decide that is was $250.
He said the fix of the issue would be $500. The next day, I had a different person come by who said it should have cost less than $100 for the diagnosis and would be $150 for the fix. I do not recommend the plumber Dr for these reasons.
