Services
New Installation
We specialize in premium hardwood floor installation for residential and commercial spaces. Our NWFA-certified team uses industry-standard techniques to ensure proper sub-floor preparation and material selection. We offer solid wood, engineered wood, and laminate options with personalized guidance through our extensive color and texture collection. All installations include free written estimates and come with a 5-year warranty, guaranteeing long-lasting quality and customer satisfaction.
Sand and Finish
Our sanding and refinishing service restores worn hardwood floors to like-new condition. Using 99.5% dustless equipment and low-VOC finishes, we remove old coatings, repair imperfections, and apply premium commercial-grade finishes. The process includes plank separation repairs, custom stain matching, and multiple sheen options from matte to gloss. Specialized techniques preserve engineered wood layers while extending floor lifespan by 50-100% through careful restoration.
Buff and Re-coat
This non-invasive service restores surface appearance by removing accumulated finish residue and applying new protective coatings. We use abrasion techniques to ensure proper adhesion, followed by premium oil or water-based finishes in four sheen levels. The eco-friendly process takes less time than full refinishing and preserves existing wood integrity while enhancing durability. Ideal for maintaining appearance without addressing structural wood damage.
Repair
Our repair services address all hardwood floor damage types, from minor scratches to major water damage. Using specialized tools, we fix cracks, dents, and moisture-related issues like warping or cupping. The process includes board replacement, smoothing techniques, and matching repairs for both unfinished and pre-finished surfaces. We handle common problems caused by water exposure, furniture movement, and pet activity while preserving surrounding floor integrity.
Custom Floors
We create distinctive floor designs using decorative elements like wood medallions, chevron patterns, and custom borders. Our services accommodate both new construction and restoration projects with options for prefinished or unfinished installations. The designs work with 5/16 to 3/4 inch thick flooring materials, allowing personalized expression through parquet styles and decorative accents that enhance any interior space's aesthetic character.

Great service by John and his team. I had a botched staircase from horrible contractors and John literally came in and fixed it up within a day at a very competitive price. They were clean efficient and I highly recommend. Looking forward to working with them again. Thanks for a stress free renovation. Before and after photos for reference

Wow! An impeccable experience. I had water damage to my apartment over the holidays, and John and his company stepped in during that busy time and pulled the process through seamlessly (and quickly). They are super professional, and really walk the walk. I'm beyond glad that I chose them to re-install my hardwood flooring. The floors are gorgeous! Replacing floors can be a huge undertaking, but you can't go wrong with NYC Floor Pro.

John was professional from the start. He estimated a full floor replacement due to water damage, but also provided an alternative repair of the damaged area and thought he could feather it in if we could get a wood match. Well, we did, and he did. Excellent job, done on time and as quoted I recommend his service. Service: Flooring

I don't live in NY anymore but John was happy to take my call regarding my flooring situation. He looked at photos of my floors and offered an unbiased, professional opinion, plus advice as to how to resolve it. I'm seriously considering flying him and his team out to Switzerland to do the job themselves!
