We originally had Preferred Pest when we moved to Knoxville and the service was excellent. We fell for some door-to-door pest service which promised better prices. Sam, the owner of Preferred Pest, and his wife are friends of my daughter. When he opened his business my daughter suggested we give him a try. We have never regretted it. Our lawn looks amazing. Everyone comments on it. But that’s not all Sam has done for us. We have a Box Elder tree that attracts thousands of Box Elder bugs. We were going to cut the tree down. What started out as a Groupon deal has lead to ongoing pest control for my home. These guys are honest and helpful in diagnosing a bug issue and I have stayed with them since. They are always on time ready to work around my crazy work schedule and they are always respectful and never find new problems just to inflate the price. They will give you an honest assessment of your problem and they will give you options to make the right decision.

Sam and Austin have been treating our house for the last two years and the service has been great! They show up when they say they are going to, and the treatments are done right the first time. The few times we needed them to take care of the extra critters that arrived, they came out with no questions asked and promptly and effectively treated the problems.
