Business Details
We have been serving the Rowlett area since 1976, giving us over 45 years of industry experience. We began as a residential lawn maintenance company and expanded to fullservice landscaping, irrigation, and hardscape solutions. In 1978 we introduced hydromulching and obtained official registration with the City of Dallas, enhancing our technical capabilities. By 1980 we transitioned to a dedicated landscaping business, and in 1992 we opened our flagship office on Main Street in Rowlett. Our team is equipped to manage homeowners associations, condominiums, commercial, and residential properties with professional precision. We provide comprehensive landscaping, sprinkler repair and installation, fencing, stone patios, and a staffed nursery for expert plant selection.

Slater Lawn and Garden is an AWESOME company. They responded quickly to my inquiry and had three guys out the next day ready to repair and replace what was wrong with my sprinkler system. They were professional, kind, and incredibly helpful. Slater- the owner- had great communication with me, and Ray and his team, who came out to fix my system, were amazing, quick, and efficient at a GREAT price. I really feel lucky that I was able to find them to help me in my sprinkler situation. Definitely use them- you won't regret it.

It is always a pleasure to do business with Slater. Through the years I have depended on them many times and they always come through in a big way. Rowlett friends, if you don't know these fine folks do yourself a favor and stop in.

I had a pretty intense leak in my yard and needed someone to get there and repair it as I didn't have the time to fix it myself and there were a lot of other issues with my sprinkler system. Mr. Slater was very nice and easy to work with on the phone. The two gentlemen who came out for the repair were very fast and efficient. They fixed the leak in less than 30 minutes and repaired the multitude of problems with our sprinkler system.
Since I was apparently using the sprinkler box wrong, they also showed me how to use it correctly. I would highly recommend these guys for any sprinkler job! Noticing they do landscaping and fencing, we are keeping that in mind as those jobs come down the pipeline for us. Go with Slater, you'll be glad you did.
