Services
Lawn Maintenance
Our comprehensive weekly lawn maintenance includes precise mowing, edging around landscape features, and thorough cleanup of grass clippings. We implement science-based maintenance schedules that strengthen root systems and prevent weed infestations while maintaining HOA compliance. Our trained technicians use commercial-grade equipment to ensure consistent quality across North DFW properties.
Sod Installation
We install premium-quality sod varieties including Bermuda, St. Augustine, and Zoysia grasses selected for Texas climate conditions. Our process includes soil preparation, sprinkler system verification, and staggered installation patterns that prevent water runoff. With 20+ years of installation expertise, we guarantee weed-free results and provide post-installation care guidance for optimal establishment.
Tree Trimming
Our certified arborists perform strategic pruning that enhances tree structure while removing hazardous branches. We follow industry best practices for optimal cut placement and timing, typically winter for most species. This specialized service improves plant health, increases property safety, and enhances aesthetic appeal through professional shaping techniques that promote natural growth patterns.
Lawn Aeration
Our core aeration service mechanically removes soil cores to create pathways for air, water, and nutrients. This essential treatment breaks up compacted clay soils common in the DFW area, promoting deeper root growth and reducing water runoff. We recommend fall or spring treatments during active grass growth periods for maximum effectiveness in improving lawn density and drought tolerance.
Weed Control
We implement a comprehensive weed management system combining pre-emergent and post-emergent treatments with cultural practices. Our approach focuses on strengthening grass through proper fertilization and watering to naturally suppress weeds. Licensed technicians apply EPA-registered herbicides safely around homes while explaining maintenance requirements to sustain long-term results with minimal re-growth.

We recently left a landscaping business because of services being provided and billed without first any discussion of the purpose and need. We explored other firms and JC's Landscaping seemed our best choice. We opted for an annual contract for basic lawn mowing & maintenance with the intent using JC's for other specific landscaping projects. We have been very pleased with the on-site service. It has been thorough and professional. On the few occasions we've made inquiries to administration, responses have been quick and courteous.

I had contacted JC's Landscaping to get an estimate on filling in sod in some bare areas of my lawn and to replace plants and flowers on my front and back yard. I received a call from the sales office within a few days. I was told that someone from the field would be contacting within a day or two. That never happened and it's a week now. I know everyone is busy these days. But no communication or follow up. Not a good sign from the begining. As a result I decided not to risk it and taking my business elsewhere.

Had my front yard flower bed cleaned up by JC's this summer. Not only were they able to make it out to my home sooner than originally estimated, they did a great job, bagged up the yard waste appropriately and left it at the curb. I appreciated the great service, ease scheduling and communicating via email to get the ad hoc flower bed work done, and they do a solid job on my regular mowing service. Thank you!
