Polyurethane

These tend to leave an oily residue which can make your floors very slippery. This oily residue would also prevent Boatright Hardwood Floors from screening and recoating your floors with polyurethane in the future. Polyurethane will not stick to any waxy substance.

Oil

Report

After 6 months of wear inspect your floors carefully to see if the finish looks dull or worn. If this condition exists, wipe the floor clean with a damp, well wrung our cotton cloth, dampened with water. Dry off with a clean dry cotton cloth.

Refinishing

Report

Floor is rough sanded to remove the old finish that is on the surface. In the case of top nailed or surface nailed floors, each nail is set by hand prior to sanding. Then areas that are appropriate or requested by customer are filled. Filler must be allowed to dry.

Installation

Report

Our installers are trained. Boatright Hardwood Floors has training meetings and demonstrations. All employees are given an Apprentice Notebook and it is thoroughly reviewed to ensure that our employees meet specific benchmarks. Boatright Hardwood Floors does not employe subcontractors.
