Central Heating Consultants

Central Heating Consultants Inc. (CHC) was chartered in 1955 under the state laws of by Paul Hunt, a World War II veteran and engineer along with Robert Camp, a Korean War veteran and business graduate. Camp and Hunt secured the General Electric Air Conditioning franchise in 1955 and CHC was the exclusive GE dealer for over 30 years, at which time the Trane Company acquired General Electric Air Conditioning.

CHC at the time of the merger was the oldest GE dealer in the state. CHC, the oldest and finest heating and air conditioning company in the area, has been under the direct management and ownership of Tim Hunt, Paul Hunt's son, since 1992.
