Parker and Sons isn't just the name on the door. The business has been family owned and operated since day one. In 1980, it was established by Larry and Alicia Parker. Prior to founding the business, Larry worked as a serviceman for a local heating and cooling company.In the early years, sales consisted of repairs and new installation in the growing residential market around Birmingham. Residential construction began to boom in the 90's and Parker and Sons grew to meet this need.New installations became an enormous part of the business and by the end of the decade Parker and Sons had become the dominant new construction air conditioning contractor in the Birmingham area.
