Billy The Sunshine Plumber has been in business since 1924, the business was started by William Forsyth. Billy The Sunshine Plumber was inspired by William's smile.

Clients and friends said he always had a smile on his face and began calling him Mr. Sunshine. He changed the name from William to Billy and put the two names together, coming up with the name Billy Sunshine Plumber.
