Midway Electric, Inc.'s motto, "Powered by People with Pride", centers on the business aspect that has grown this 15 year old company - people. Owners, Brandon and Michele Spry, concentrate on consumers by providing quality, timely service as well as treating their employees like family. Hickman High School sweethearts, the Spry's married in 1997.

In 2001 the couple reached a crossroad when the electrical contractor Brandon was working for closed its Columbia branch. Brandon was faced with finding a new job or starting his own electrical contracting company. The couple chose an independent venture, and the Spry's opened Midway Electric, Inc. with 2 employees and one van.
