John and Guy were more than great to deal with. we called early morning becouse our door could not open, John picked up right away and sent Guy over who was very friendly and was able to repair our broken garage door! thank you!

Called around to a few different companies with a broken spring. Chose these guys cause they were quick, communicative and no b.s. "Guy" came out a fixed springs for a fair price and did good work. I'm definitely keeping their #. Very happy with not getting jerked around and quick work. These guys just trying to run an honest business in my opinion. Thanks Guy!

Had a terrific experience with this garage door repair company, second time they've assisted me over the years. Very responsive and professional. They carefully reviewed the issue which was the broken spring I called them about, and then evaluated the entire system and additional preventative parts replacements, but no pressure and full disclosure on pricing. I decided to have them do all they could to keep the garage door system operational for years to come, they had all the parts and were able to take care of everything relatively quickly, made sure every remote was programmed properly and they carefully tested everything. Super nice and the garage has worked perfectly since their repair about a month ago

I just want to recommend this place for their great customer service and quick response. I called one morning and spoke to John, and needed the garage door to be repaired before my trip the same day. He sent me a technician for an estimate right away, without charging any fee upfront like other places. And he was able to fix the door quickly. Definitely recommend!!

Amazingly great service. My garage door cable /coil had snapped and could not use my garage door. OC garage doors were able to get out to my house the same day and fix my door. The tech was extremely knowledgeable and explained exactly what was needed and how much it would be. I approved the price and he had it fixed in about 1-2 hours (see attached photo). A great experience with them and I have shared their info with all my friends and neighbors who need garage door help.

Returning customer of John's from over 3 years ago. Previously I consulted John to inspect a garage door, opener and garage springs. He was polite on the phone, arrived on time and upon his inspection his opinion was that everything was in working order and didn't necessarily need immediate replacement (no unnecessary upselling) however I decided based upon 1st hand knowledge of the age and daily use, I decided to move forward with spring and opener replacement. John was accommodating to my scheduling needs and performed the installation without issue and in a reasonable amount of time. He took the time to explain the new opener and provided tips for preventative maintenance to ensure long term life of the opener, door and springs. A professionally installed single bar opener vs a Home Depot/Lowe's sectioned bar opener is much quieter and is a must.

Based upon this previous experience... I decided to call upon him again...

This recent call was for a different home with a dead (very old) opener. Was lucky and able to schedule an appointment the next day following my call. Guy arrived on time and replaced the opener and suggested a spring replacement on an already 20 year old garage door. Work was completed to his estimated time and he was friendly, polite and patiently answered all my questions.

I had a great experience with this company. One of the springs on our garage door broke and I called to have someone come out and fix it. Scheduling was very easy and Jay came out to fix the door. He was very kind and friendly. He gave good advice and also advised that we replace the drums. After seeing them myself, the wear on the existing ones was apparent I agreed it was a good idea. Jay did a great job and was very efficient too. I will definitely call them again if I need help with our garage door in the future.

Excellent experience! Work completed in San Juan, Capistrano on 7/26/2023. Service window was met. Courteous, informative and honest are attributes that made this project go smoothly. Work completed same day. I was provided a thorough explanation and multiple options to fix the issue. Pricing was broken out by option as well as cost per items required for the fix. Was educated on various types of garage cabling and parts for each aspect of the repair. I would not hesitate to work with this company again and highly recommend them for any garage repair or garage door purchase.

Orange County Garage Doors did an excellent job replacing my broken garage door torsion springs and garage door opener. They fixed my door within 1 day even with the challenge of locating what are normally special order parts. Highly recommend!

Called around to get a couple of quotes from different garage doors company, OC garage doors quoted resenable price and I decided to give them the work. John came by and took some measurements, two days later the installers David and his father came by and installed the door, they were friendly, professionals & knowledgeable. It's took them two hours and get it all done, clean and great work, highly recommended !

Awesome service. I used them 5 years ago to repair & service the garage door spring mechanism. I called them back for a stripped belt on our ancient garage door power unit. I was relieved to discover that everything was the same with them as it was 5 years ago, they answered the phone right away, set up an appointment for the following week. They would have come out more quickly if I needed them to (I didn't). They showed up on time for their appointment, examined the unit and outlined my options including pricing. Not surprisingly, the several-decades old power unit was not repairable. Amazingly, no pressure to have anything done right away, no attempt to up-sell me on anything, just a neutral explanation of everything, yet they were fully prepared to replace the unit immediately if that was my decision. Since I had used them previously, and I already had general sense of how much things cost, I had them follow-through and replace the unit. They quickly replaced the unit, the switch on the wall, they tuned-up, balanced & lubricated the garage door itself, provided me with the new openers, reprogrammed an aftermarket opener that I already had, explained the phone app we can use to open/close/monitor the garage door. All in under 2 hours. I've always felt that selecting a home repair-related service is not really about money, anyone doing a bit of research will know how much things should cost but more about honesty, trustworthiness and reliability. (And from experience, the rock-bottom cheapest service or the high-end slick-marketing expensive service is rarely the right decision). It was reassuring to call the same service after 5 years and the same person as 5 years ago shows up and gives you the same type of neutral explanation of your situation as they did years ago, along with the pricing options for resolving it. I didn't realize how noisy the OLD until was until I started opening and closing the garage with the very quiet NEW unit.
