Founded in 2008, Colmex Construction has become a leader in building energy efficient homes for non-profit agencies as well as Private home owners. Colmex has worked with non-profit agencies such as Habitat for Humanity, Harmony Neighborhood Development (formerly the New Orleans Neighborhood Development Collaborative), the Preservation Resource Center, and Lower 9th Ward NENA.

As a result, Colmex Construction is this year's recipient of Entergy's prestigious The Power of People Award. Over the last few years, we have put an emphasis on building new energy efficient homes in the Lower 9th Ward, Gentilly, and Uptown neighborhoods.
