Mr. Gerald Ziegler & Mrs. Barbara Ziegler started cleaning rugs in 1951 in Danbury, Connecticut. For approximately one year, the name of the company was Dun-Rite. It took about a year before one of their clients said to them "Who is Dun-Rite? I don't know any Dun-Rite." She told Jerry (Mr. Ziegler) if you're going to work so hard get rid of that name and put your own name on the business.The Ziegler company has bore the family name for over 65 years now. Mrs. Ziegler would often tell the story of how she and Jerry took a ride to Hartford Connecticut one day, to look at machinery for washing rugs, with four screaming kids in the car.

Ziegler carpet cleaning picked up my rug and returned today looking so beautiful I don't think it actually ever looked this great. Ziglers did an amazing job cleaning and restoring my antique heirloom oriental rug. Phil took the time to explain the history and significance of the rug pattern to me - which despite owning the rug for over 30 years I never knew-and handled my rug with professionalism and care. This rug has been in my family for a century and has a lot of sentimental value to me. I am so glad I went to Phil to have it cleaned and repaired. I highly recommend them

I have used Ziegler's for 15 years and have always been very satisfied with the repairs done and the cleaning to make my carpets look younger than their age. Phil performed magic! We bought a 1940 house with a large expanse of brick floor. It had decades worth of build-up and was the only thing about the house that I wasn't wild about. I had no idea that it could be restored and look like much. Phil was dedicated to getting it right, and it paid off. We're in love with our floor now -- Phil found a new floor under there. It brings a dimension to our home that we never expected. GREAT to work with, incredible work ethic, and a joy to be with someone so passionate about what they do!

Phil Ziegler always does a fantastic job cleaning our carpet. Shows up on time, very efficient, always professional and goes the extra effort to make sure everything's perfect. Have been a long time customer for 27 years since I opened Cafe on the Green restaurant. As you can imagine our carpet gets a lot of traffic and Phil's able to bring it back to the original. Would only recommend Ziegler carpet cleaning

Phil and Company just cleaned 3 oriental rugs that were in major need of some TLC. We have used Ziegler for many years now for all our rug cleaning needs. His team also refinished the hardwood floors in 2 rooms while the rugs were out for cleaning. The rugs came back looking vibrant and rich while the floors look almost brand new after 30 years.
