Watts Mechanical was founded in Tallahassee by Jackie Watts in 1989. Watts Mechanical quickly grew into a full-service air conditioning and heating contractor. Within ten years, we outgrew our old location and moved our to our new offices on Woodlane Circle. We've expanded our services to customers by adding plumbing installation and services and, most recently, general contracting.
We've handled everything from large commercial installations to regular residential maintenance calls. We pride ourselves on our satisfied customers and quality workmanship done in a timely manner. Watts is hands down the best HVAC/plumbing company I've used. They show up when they say they will, professional, knowledgeable, and pricing is always fair and honest. They've fixed multiple issues both at my home and office that other company's installed incorrectly. Do yourself a favor and call them first! 10/10

Technician arrived on time and called first when on the way. The tech wore a mask as requested. I am at high risk for Covid. Watts installed the gas line for our Generac generator. The gas regulator was faulty thru no fault of theirs. They order a replacement as recommended by Generac and installed on this visit. The tech did a thorough job

I called for an estimate for a brand new system. I was told they were so busy that they couldn't get anyone out for 5 days, and they had only one opening between 8am and 9am. Not only did they not show up after I waited around for an hour and a half, but no one even had the decency to call and let me know that their either running behind or not able to come.
Great way to do business. That's too bad for you guys that you definitely won't get our business now! Especially since my husband was seriously leaning towards a ductless system that usually runs about $15,000.00. Don't waste your valuable time on these boneheads, just save yourself the headache and move on to someone else that's actually willing to come out to your house!

I used Watts plumbing to install a natural gas line to a new gas stovetop that I purchased to replace an old electric cooktop and install new bathroom faucets as my old bathroom vanity counters were replaced with granite. Watts worked closely with me to meet my complex schedule as I had several contractors come in to remove old appliances and bathroom counters.
Over a five day time frame, gas was installed, hooked up to the new stove and inspected by the City. Also during that timeframe, old faucets were removed from 3 bathrooms, the sinks and counters were changed out and Watts installed new faucets and water supply lines. Kudos to James who did most of the work. He went above and beyond to comply with City inspection requirements and even came back one extra time to change out one of my new faucets which had a factory defect. I would recommend Watts plumbing to anyone who needs a reliable company that is easy to work with.

I have to hand it to James. Another company told me my unit was shot and repair would be about as much as a new unit. I asked James, from Watts, to come by and check it. A few years ago I had Watts install a new AC system in my home. I'm from up north (been down here for years now) but I had MANY questions and they guys were patient with me. Just recently I had a plumbing issue and was VERY happy to find out Watts is now doing plumbing. Their staff is very kind and friendly. I'm certain I ask to many questions but they put up with me and I appreciate it. I wish I could give them more stars on their review. If you are looking for repair work to be done at a decent rate stop. Watts is the place to call.

Amazing service and a great price! I talked to Carrie over the phone, she was super helpful and overall gave some great customer service. She made sure our emergency water problem got fixed that same day it happened. Also Kyle was extremely helpful he got the problem fixed as fast as possible, and was a cool guy. Overall I'd totally recommend Watts, my experience with them was great!

I called them to come out to see if they can replace two hose bibs. They came out and said I had the wrong hose bib for one and wanted $300 and to break through my back wall to replace the second one. I said no thanks and I will call someone else and they left saying thanks and that was it. Long story short I got the job done for $100 by another plumber. Honestly if you are in need of a plumber go somewhere else than this company.
I then received a bill for them coming out and doing nothing even though I was never told about a service charge. I then proceeded to call the main office and they said they will get back to me. 3 days later I receive a call from them. I explained the situation and the lady on the other end of the phone said it was my fault as I had the wrong hose bib for one of them and proceeded to say it was my fault and should have known that I was going to receive this bill for coming out when again no one told me.
She then proceeded to yell at me over the phone, saying I am disrespectful and rude and then said she will send the bill to collections and hung up. What type of customer service is this? I have never had to deal with an employee yelling at a once potential customer of theirs and then hanging up the phone. Again go somewhere else besides here because it was ridiculous, I will never use them for anything.

If I could give them more stars I would! We have used them for everything at our house and at my sister's house here in Tallahassee. The company is excellent and responsive! James is our favorite-- he has been here to fix the HVAC (which had a manufacturing problem), to install the gas lines , to check for leaks and to make us a custom damper for our gas fire.
He is funny and articulate and wonderful. And the owner Carre is a hoot and smart and treats her workforce with the respect they deserve. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I tell all my friends the same thing -- they are to be trusted to get it right. And they won't make you feel like a pest for asking.

Our A/C unit died right at the beginning of summer. Needing a replacement fast, Watts immediately fit us into their busy schedule. The installers were professional and efficient and even gave us a tutorial on how to program our new thermostat. I will definitely be going back to them with any future A/C or plumbing concerns.

Our AC unit was well over 20-30 years old and it was slowly dying out. We were in a pickle trying to find the best deal for what we wanted because everything seemed SO expensive. We have Watts a call and we. were able to get a brand new unit installed with a touch screen thermometer for a GREAT price. It actually has saved us hundreds on our bills!
The employees are even better! We have had them come out and check up on our unit and they are so easy going and friendly! I would highly recommend this company to ANYONE! I'm thankful for Watts!
