Tiger Services does a great job of keeping up with the maintenance on our unit. We've used them at our former home and now this one and feel like our systems work so well because of proper maintenance. They always call to remind you it's time for your twice yearly maintenance and also let you know when your technician is arriving. Highly recommend.

Nikko represented Tiger Services well. He was respectful and knowledgeable in the preventative maintenance of our HVAC system. There was quite a significant increase in the monetary amount for both the annual preventative maintenance and filter from last year which was through no fault of Nikko. Had a specialist come out and give me a quote. almost 10 grand to replace the ducts and 3 grand to reseal! Went to a different company and they said they were perfectly fine and only needed to be resealed and paid a fraction of the cost. Don't let this company scam you out of your money. Do the research!

Gonzo & Nikko very professional Service Techs. Nikko is new but will be a good rep for Tiger. He listened closely and followed instructions very well. Going to make a good tech for sure. My husband and I have been using Tiger services for several years. They are great about notifying us when it is time for a maintenance check. Ismael wore a mask which I appreciated as a senior and wore covering over shoes protecting wood floors. He was polite and shared maintenance check with me upon completion. I've used Tiger Services for decades. I have rarely ever had an issue and if I did, it was resolved quickly and easily. I wish all businesses were as honest and professional as Tiger Services. Scott was the technician that serviced my heating equipment today. He was very personable and professional as are most of the techs at Tiger Services.

I was very pleased with the service I received today from Tiger Services. I called a week ago to schedule a heater check and was able to get an appointment this week (while other companies I contacted told me the soonest they could come out would be months away). The technician, Emanuel, arrived on time and got right to work. He was polite and friendly and explained every step during his visit. I definitely recommend Tiger Services for your AC/heating needs!

To start I will say that the maintenance tech's were awesome to work with, very informative and patient. We were happy to sign for their annual services because we found some issues with the duct work. The airflow and repair services is where everything went downhill, aside from their airflow specialist being in really hard to reach and it took many calls to finally schedule something with him, because he would never follow up with his calls and also his price for repairs was made up solely by him which made it hard to itemize and decide if we wanted to pay for everything they recommended to improve airflow, we again made multiple calls trying to get in touch with him and again he couldn't be bother to return calls.

He promised to call before his techs came out and never did and we ended up canceling the repair because we couldn't get in touch with him, he then sent a scathing text because we canceled repairs and made it known they would never work with us again, this all could of been handled if he could keep his promise to call us or return any of his calls.

We decided we would then reach out to the owner but after 3 call attempts and no call backs we gave up and just asked for a full refund on the annual services. Ultimately, I say steer clear of these people their maintenance techs are great but if you ever need repair be ready to be a complete inconvenience to them and they will make it clear that you are.

I have used Tiger Services for at least 15 years and have never been disappointed in either their high-quality service or materials. As an "Annual Maintenance Plan" member (very reasonably priced), Tiger comes out twice a year (once for heating; once for cooling) to ensure the systems are running well. At this visit, Patrick was quick, professional, and easy to talk to.

He made suggestions for possible changes -- no pressure to "do it right now." Every technician has been outstanding. I highly recommend turning to Tiger Services for an initial check-up AND to enroll in the Annual Maintenance Plan."

In my opinion, buyer beware. Tiger Services charged me with an exorbitant price for their service and added a fee for service that was not performed. Actual Invoice #306552 on 6/29/20. a. $99, Service call (Was told it would be approx. $45 if work needed to be performed), b. $44, Diagnose 2nd Unit, c. $194, Clear Cond Line on second unit (I had completed this the night before), d. $153, Reseal Blower Door (glued the insulation back on the door), put insulation on Unit 2 line (wrap), suction line & access port. Unfortunately, the service was performed while I was at work so my wife signed the invoice.

I spoke with Guy, Service Mgr., for Tiger, the following morning to complain about the excessive invoice. When I told Guy that I had already completed the drain blockage (they added $194 saying they performed the service), he said it was still blocked and he accused me of putting Draino or some other kind of chemical in the line. He claimed his technician suffered 3rd-degree chemical burns and had to be rushed to the Emergency Room.

If that were true, my wife would have been informed by the technician. IMO, it's a bare-faced lie! When I asked Guy to have the technician call me to discuss what happened, he said that he "is the Service Mgr. and everything should just go thru him". I will NEVER use Tiger Services again.

I think I've probably done two reviews over the last ten years. Normally if I receive subpar service or products from a company I just don't patronize them going forward. In general I don't want to be involved in negatively impacting a business in any way because they might have just been off their game when dealing with me that day. Anyway, this particular time I feel compelled to publicize my recent experience with Tiger HVAC.

Twenty years ago Tiger installed the 3.5 ton Trane central ac unit in the house that we have owned for the last two years. The previous home owners, who originally had the unit installed, continued using Tiger through the years to service and maintain the unit. They spoke very highly of their experiences and recommended the company to us. When the old unit stopped cooling a few days ago I called Tiger immediately.

A service technician was dispatched within a few hours later. Same day service! After spending just shy of an hour checking things out the service tech informed me that the compressor was completely shot and the entire unit needed replacing. Sad news indeed. Tech was very professional and explained to me that the compressor was 'grounded' and that there was no replacement compressor for my unit since it was outdated and operated on the old style Freon.

He called the office and set up an appointment with an estimator to come out to our house that same afternoon. Tiger estimator Miguel showed up two hours later. Very nice fellow. Very professional. He quoted me pricing on three different units. One at $11,437, $9633 and $8806. Needless to say I was a bit surprised at how high the quotes seemed but just figured that like everything else, its always more costly than you might think.

The next day I was ready to pull the trigger on the new install when my wife called a technician that does some work for her company so we could get a second opinion. Tech showed up a few hours later and in less than fifteen minutes determined that the problem with our unit was actually a burned out fan motor. He showed me how easy it was to troubleshoot and identify the problem.

Something that should have been blatantly obvious to ANY hvac service tech. $250 and two hours later we had a new fan motor and a working ac! So, given all of this it appears that the company was poised to rip us off for a new unit in excess of $8800, at a minimum, when all we really needed was a basic repair for $250! SHAMEFUL! BUYER BEWARE!

AC kept having problems They would come out put a Band-Aid on it and say it's all fixed then two weeks to 2 month later problem would occur again. It's now going on two years +or- a month and since the problems first occurred before the warranty expiration They are still obligated to honor the warranty. but now it's a shouting match.

Last person I spoke his argument was The attic gets hot in the summer so air naturally comes out warmer. so that's why it's 89° in my house(that was his professional opinion)!spare yourself, do not use tiger services!

They are a complete scam. All they do is try and sell you their over priced parts. Had them come out to check my AC that wasn't working and they wanted to replace the entire system because it was dead. Said no thanks and had a friend of mine check the system using a multimeter and it turned out to be a $1 fuse that I bought at grainger. Do NOT use these people. They tried to rip me off and ripped my parents off in the past and will TRY to rip you off! Avoid at ALL costs!

The a/c was still working when Tiger showed up for what was to be a $99 diagnostic call. I told the tech my system is 20 years old and the blower was running continuously even on auto. Two hours later, I have a unit that's only blowing hot air and a bill for $330. My husband called and spoke to the manager. The next day we get the same tech and the same spiel and lucky us, this was free.

Oh but, we did pay $330 for the first call that what was suppose to be $99. We don't want to put good money into a 20 year old unit, but the fact remains it was still cooling before Tiger came out. We had used them in the past and not had a problem so this was super disappointing!

I woke up to find that my a/c was not working at all but I had to rush to work so I was unable to call someone to come out and fix it. I got out of work at 5 and found that a lot of companies were already closed, which was extremely stressful considering I have three small animals that cannot be without a/c. Luckily, I am a subscriber to Angie's list and I found Tiger on the app.

I called them up in complete desperation after seeing my indoor bunny panting and my Pekingese whining from discomfort. The lady who answered my call was kind and courteous and even made sure to tell me about the online coupon available for new customers that ended up saving me $55. I called around 5:10 and by 6:32 the technician, Raymond, had already found and solved the problem.

He was thorough with his explanation and gladly answered every question I had. On top of that, he also made sure that I was aware of the online coupon for $55 off. It is quite impressive when all of a company's employees that you speak with actively try to save you money when they really do not have to go out of their way to do so. Raymond showed up faster than any other a/c technician has from other companies that I have called in the past, and, for once, I did not feel like I was being taken advantage of. Oh, and get this, not only did he repair my a/c and provide excellent service but he saved me from wasps that were coming out of a nest on my fence that I was not aware of; and then, he came back from his van with the new part AND wasp spray, which he used to spray down the wasp nest.

And when I say save, I am not exaggerating; I was literally 2 inches from suffering a painful sting but, thankfully, he pulled me out of those angry creatures' way. I do not even know how customer service can get any better than that. I will definitely be using this company for all of my future a/c needs and will recommend them to everyone I know.

I ended up paying about $500 for the new part and two future services AND I am free of all wasp stings. Raymond definitely knows his stuff and I encourage everyone to give this company a try. For a technician to only take about an hour to arrive at your home and fix your a/c on a Friday evening is completely insane, I am still in awe. My house is cold again and my three little critters could not be happier.

Called Tiger. Tech came and replaced capacitor. Cleaned coils.$591.00. Now w there seems to be an electrical problem. Can't use a/c as fear a possible fire. Have called them so far no response. If I had read Yelp reviews before would not have called them

I had Tiger AC out to service my HVAC unit on 03-14-16. My condenser had a simple bad capacitor. I took a picture of the box and found the same exact part for $25 online. I found were they could be bought in bulk for $15 a piece. The technician was going to charge me $373 plus tax and labor to replace a $15 part. I send him home. I still had to pay $99 for his service call.

I ordered the part and replaced it myself. It took 10 minutes. This is called price-gouging. A $15 part marked up to $373. That's 25 x the cost of parts, plus tax and labor. This should have been a $150 job including parts, tax and labor. That still allows for a nice mark up on the part and 30 minutes of labor.

Called at 8:00 this morning, set an appointment, and confirmed at noon. At 3:00 got a call that they would not service this property since it is a 3 story condo. Nice of you to let me know after waiting all day. You checked my address this morning- you couldn't have said something then? Poor service experience, bordering on ineptitude with you guys. Don't count on my business or a favorable word from me ever again. Will be sure to mention how pathetic your service is anytime someone asks for an AC repair company recommendation.

We have used Tiger Services for many years now. They replaced our entire AC/heating system. They did it the night before Christmas Eve. They worked until three AM in freezing conditions. Ever since, they have maintained our system for us with Spring and Fall check ups.

They have been out 5 time and charged me around $800. They replaced the compressor and now want to replace the fan for another $1,000. They refuse to simply check the thermostat and relay control board connections, which is what I have asked from the second time they came out. I will never use this company again and you shouldn't either unless you have a few extra thousand bucks laying around you want to throw away and don't actually care if your Ac gets fixed.

I called my existing A/C company and spoke to them about a dehumidifier and they seemed like they didn't know or want to help me out. When I called Tiger they explained what the benefits were and what I should expect. They came out and gave an estimate and it was the high one, but of the two companies they seemed to know what they were doing.

I decided to go with them and today was the install. It went super smooth. Patrick and Anthony arrived a little early and explained exactly what was going to happen. They were awesome. Worked very fast and they were super courteous. They are definitely going to be my new A/C company and I have been through at least 5 in the two homes I have owned. This company is by far the best.

Called Tiger after finding out that the contractor associated with my Home Warranty had 1 star reviews across the board. John showed up, and he was friendly, courteous, and professional. He wore shoe covers on his feet. He went up and down the attic to check my a/c. He was very thorough. Turned out that I need freon. He even poured the bleach down the tubie thing for me.

The a/c coils were frozen solid, so he had to come back. He showed up on time, and went to work. Got on their maintenance plan, which dropped my service fee. All in all, I ended up paying a little less than $500, but it's a lot better than paying $6K for another a/c. BTW, window units rule!
