Think Green Irrigation & Landscaping

Replaced an outside irrigation valve that didn't need replacing, because it's never used! Charged me $260. anyway. Never again.

We used Think Green in April 2020 for an entire remodeling of our back yard. The workers and designer did a great job. The problem now is I contacted our designer to begin a redo on our front yard and while she was prompt to come out for a consultation, 3 months went by without any contact. So I called the owner and Chris said they were so backed up they would not be able to get to us until the fall, which was ok with us. Chris said she would have our designer call us to go over plans and get us on the books for fall.

Guess what? 3 weeks went by and no contact. My initial call was March and my last contact was me reaching out to Chris in early August to let her know how pitiful their service is. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you want any kind of response.

Think Green just finished up our new backyard. Angelique King is our designer and she is the reason we chose Think Green. Our trust in her was well deserved as she was onsite often and managed the project well. Everyone was on time, and each crew was hardworking, cleaned up at the end of the day and were all knowledgeable about the project. Angelique worked with us to stay in our budget and no extras were incurred, .

I would highly recommend Angelique and Think Green. A year later and now on to smaller front yard project. I have to edit my former review and say the response time of our designer is poor at this time. Sadly, even after speaking with one of the owners, I still have not gotten a call back. The owner was pleasant and advised she would have Angelique call so at least we could get on the books for 12 weeks from now because that is how far out they are.

That would have been good since we don't want to do it in the heat. It has been 4 months since Angelique was here to discuss our new project. Guess we have to find a new landscape designer and company. So sad for Think Green. They have too much business now but if that ever changes they will be in trouble due to poor company responses. Apparently the owners have no idea that keeping in touch with clients is of utmost importance even if telling them of a delay.

When I used this company the sales person was very pushy I felt like I was buying a used car.

Critical: Responsiveness Think Green can't be bothered to return a phone call so I can't imagine giving my hard earned money to them.

This was a painful experience. I worked with Jon for 3 months on a design for a water feature, waiting weeks between responses from him and I almost always had to reach out twice before he would answer. I got many, many excuses about how busy they were. Then one day he popped in with a detail that made the entire project untenable because he was unaware of the county regulations.

When we pivoted to a solution to the project, he promised to get to work on a new proposal. A week later I hadn't heard anything (again) and when I reached out, he indicated that he'd tested positive for Covid and disappeared. I wished him well and sat back to wait. Today (more than a month later) I got a cancellation of our project proposal. No phone call, no email, nothing. This company has lots of great reviews from previous years, but this year is apparently a different story for them.

Think Green did a phenomenal job recreating our backyard space. Jon and his team did a great job listening to our needs and designing the space to incorporate everything we wanted. We got designs and quotes from several firms, and Think Green was far and above in terms of quality. George and the crew doing the work were fantastic! They showed up when they said they would, were knowledgeable, skilled and cleaned up every day before they left. We love our backyard now thanks to Think Green!

We will always "Think Green" and happily recommend this company when we hear of someone looking for landscaping design! Jon Riep, our designer, was a pleasure to work with and stayed in contact throughout our project. He incorporated our basic ideas into a gorgeous desert oasis, including new plantings, arroyos, irrigation, and a sidewalk. His recommendations for the design and choices for plantings beautifully added color and texture to our home.

He was extremely responsive to our questions and patient with our revisions. George, our project manager was great too - personable and knowledgeable, insuring that everything was done to meet our expectations. The crew of Raul, Luis and (another) Jonathan were amazing -- friendly and accommodating; working tirelessly to transform our yard. We actually missed them when they left!

This is one of the best companies I've dealt with in a long time. The original work didn't satisfy me, but since I had already paid them I was expecting a fight to get them to come back and fix the issue. I'm happy to say I was wrong. Jon sent his guys back the very next day and addressed my concern with no push back. They spent the entire morning on it and used a bunch of additional material at no additional charge. That's a level of professionalism and integrity that is unfortunately rare these days. I would rehire this company in a second.

This is a company with the utmost in professional from the initial contact through to the final product. My yard was transformed into a beautiful masterpiece that I am so proud of to show off. Angelique was an amazing designer who listened to what my vision was for my new yard and came up with an amazing plan. I only had to request once and the follow up and completion of that request was done immediately.

From Angelique to Raul who lead the actual work to the follow up done by Eric to ensure the integrity of the plants and the watering have been phenomenal. I would recommend this team in a heartbeat. They can be a bit more expensive but I learned a long time ago you get what you pay for and I can enjoy my new yard for many years to come. You cannot go wrong with this very accountable and responsible company.

Jon Riep and his team at Think Green remodeled my courtyard and backyard. The work was outstanding and received so many compliments from friends, neighbors, and passersby. The courtyard has a more contemporary look, and differentiates my house with added curb appeal. The backyard has been transformed into a relaxing oasis with new hardscape, plants, and trees.

I love both spaces and truly enjoy being outside all year round. Jon is EXCEPTIONAL at design. He captured exactly what I was looking for in both spaces. His installation team was also phenomenal. They work with an ownership mentality and they know you want it done as soon as possible and with quality results. You get it all with this team! I have recommended Think Green to many friends and neighbors and I will certainly work with them again for future projects.

Think Green is a wonderful company to do business with. They are punctual, professional and they do great work. The team that worked in my back yard were courteous and so careful as they walked through my living room to get to the back yard. They were all hard workers and did the job in a timely fashion. This company is special. The people, their integrity, their thoughtfulness. They just took over and fixed an existing project and took beyond even my imagination. And I have a fantastic imagination. Caity and Angelique will make you grateful they are handling it through every step. Jon (CO-owner) is a true gentlemen. Mistakes are fixed. Issues are handled without a worry by the owner. We contracted with Think Green to completely redesign our front and back yards. Jon was great to work with. We weren't entirely sure what we wanted to do with our property at first, but Jon did an excellent job of planning out a concept that looks really sharp. I would highly recommend Think Green to anyone looking for landscaping or irrigation services. They take pride in their work and displayed honesty and integrity throughout the entire process - a refreshing experience when working with a contractor!

Think Green installed a drip system in both my front and back yards and installed an extra hose bib. The only problem was a 1/4" pipe used along my side yard instead of the 1/2", but this was quickly corrected. The installer was friendly and left me with extra pipe and drip heads. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use them again.

This is a review of my attempt to do business with Think Green. Originally, they were quick to respond. The individual I spoke to was professional and courteous. We talked about what I was looking for and I was very specific about the products I wanted used in my irrigation system (specifically, water efficient products made by Hunter). The rep that came to my house was also timely, professional and courteous.

I reiterated my specific requirements about the products to be used. I had a general quote the next day. After having several companies out, I was ready to go with Think Green, but I did not have a line item quote from them. I requested that and it came back without the products I requested. I asked if the products they were quoting were comparable to the Hunter products and never received a response. So I went with a competitor. Nice people. Lack of attention to detail and unresponsive in the end.

We worked with Jon and his crew recently to add some desert plants to our bare front and back yards, to remove some older plants and to help us with our fruit tree. Think Green did an amazing job on our landscaping, including replacing a plant within a few days that was wilting. Jon also provided excellent watering recommendations and plenty of advice on the rest of our yard.

The landscaping crew was extremely professional, showed up early, got the job done quickly and didn't mind our dog being nosy. I would highly recommend this company for any landscaping or gardening needs. We are thrilled with their work!

Absolutely amazing service, and the most professional business and service technician that I have interacted. Found a sizable leak and wet spot in the backyard, after unsuccessfully calling in a couple of plumbing services who felt this is too small a job to make the trek, I found Think Green, who received my call immediately, and setup a service call for the next day.

The Service Tech came in as promised at 9 AM, he found the problem, fixed it in about 5 min, walked me through ways to avoid it in future and left stating that I will get the invoice from the office. They charged me a very nominal service fee and materials. I would recommend them to anyone.

This is by far the most professional irrigation company in the Valley. We have been using Think Green to repair our aging irrigation system and they quickly find the source of the problem and fix it like new. They also installed new landscaping lighting for us. The best!

Think Green (led by John Riep) did a fantastic job from start to finish for our front yard in the Summer/Fall of 2012. John came to the home multiple times (without payment for his services) and designed/redesigned a landscape plan that was beautiful and recognized our water usage concerns. John also worked with our budget and consistently came up with creative solutions to our constraints.

Once it was time to implement the design, his people were professional and did an outstanding job. Since they finished the job, John has made himself available for questions about maintenance, watering, etc. I recommend Think Green's services highly!
