My name is Efren Calderon Jr. I am the owner of Straightline Painting ABQ. I have over 20 years of on the job experience. To better explain my character and integrity, I would like to tell you a little about my life. My father was a professional painter in the greater Los Angeles area, where I began working with him.I quickly learned the trade by working with him. We worked in many areas of Los Angeles, from the high rise buildings in Studio City to the beautiful mansions in Beverly Hills. Over the years I've had a bumpy road, but now I've come back to my father's trade. My father never wanted me to become a painter.

If you've ever hired a painter, you know ability to cut a straight line is the ultimate test of how good the job is - Efren and crew totally live up to the company's name! Our job is BEAUTIFUL. We need our whole house painted. but really needed one room done fast, so that a cabinet can be installed. Tho' booked out, Efren found a few hours on a Sat morn and knocked out the job. Most considerate of him. Efren sets a high, personal standard for his company - they aim for excellence in workmanship and customer satisfaction, and they achieve it.

We're satisfied customers! Efren is the honest, straight-shooting owner and communicated every step of the process. Straight Line crew prepped and painted all exterior trim, conduit, and doors on our two story home in High Desert in a couple of days. Severe viga column cracks were also repaired to look like new. Left the place very tidy.

I highly recommend Straight Line Painting for interior painting. Efren was great to work with. He was able to visit our newly purchased home within a day or so of my first call. Pricing was competitive with the other big name painters in town. Efren met me at my home to pick paint color (white is harder than you think) & offered to meet at the paint store as well.
Our 4,800 sq foot home with vaulted ceilings needed a full crew to paint for 8-10 business days. Straight Line was able to complete the job in 6-7 days while we were out of town. They left our home immaculate! We are considering their services for other house work.

I reached out to Josh to inquire about sealing my concrete driveway and walkway. Josh was responsive and very helpful and came out within a couple days to take a look at my driveway to give a more accurate quote for sealing and grinding. Josh also brought up that I may want to check with my HOA before proceeding, which is very generous of him to help me out.
While I did not use him due to HOA rules, I did inquire on flagstone sealant and he gave me the name of the product he gets which shows that he is not just out for him and his business, which I am so appreciative of.

Efrain did a great job repairing the damage from a roof leak. The patch looks great, blends in very well. Turned out way better than I expected! Prices were competitive. Efren, Josh and crew were amazing! I had a very tough garage floor rehab project that most other companies weren't willing to even bother with taking on. Straight Line made the final product (garage floor refinish and epoxy) look like a showroom quality space. Very impressed and satisfied with work completed in a quick timeframe at a fair price. Efren really came through to help us out in a crunch. We were tight on time and his crew showed up on time, ready to work, on the weekend! They were courteous and respectful. I really appreciate Efren taking his personal time to come out and make sure the job was getting done. He also provided additional contacts for drywall and tile work. We were doing remodel work on our own as well, Efren provided several helpful tips and hints to help us complete the project. Five Stars!

Straight Line Painting did an excellent job on coating my garage floor! I am extremely happy with the results. They helped me move a fridge and freezer from the garage so that the floors could be worked on, this is some thing that another local company would not help me do. Josh and his team were very professional and were very thorough in their work. I have received a lot of compliments from neighbors and friends/family on how nice the floor looks. I highly recommend straight line painting!

My recently purchased home was badly in need of new stucco which was cracked and the color horrible. I love the stucco and wood trim stain that Straight Line did on my home which looks absolutely gorgeous now! A courtyard wall was added while they worked and they did a fine job of matching it to what looks like a brand new house. The crew was professional, kind and meticulous in their work and attentive to putting things back in their place.
They even cleaned up stray drips from my windows when they were done. Efrim helped with color choices and I couldn't be happier with the results. The cost was competitive and communication was excellent throughout the time they were working. They are the best!

We had Straight line painting strip and stain our vigas, as well as paint the interior of our house. They did a fantastic job. I could not recommend them enough. They we professional, on time, and came in at the projected budget. My wife and I are really happy with the result. Efren was also able to recommend other contractors who did an amazing job texturing our bathroom. Efren was a pleasure to work with. I will be reaching out to him for all of my future projects. We first hired Straight Line Painting to remove our popcorn ceilings and paint them. They did such a fabulous job that we hired them again to paint the whole exterior of our home. Since we run a business out of our home and have many clients in and out it's very important that our home be in excellent condition.
