To build a custom pool with this company is a NOOOOO. Unfortunately there are not many options and they know this and treat folks accordingly. They'll have business no matter what.

Love these guys. Great tubs, helpful, continue to provide service after 18 years (yes, hot tub still working although it needed some new parts here and there)

We were looking for cleaning tools for our pool and we came across this location. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Tools were affordable and in stock unlike everywhere else (during this pandemic time.) You won't be disappointed. We will be coming back for any future needs.

Edit (4/11): Codi contacted me and was apologetic and offered to refund the cost and install the cover. Generous and great service. Unfortunately, Lee left a VM a few hours earlier that was robotic-sounding and annoyed, with no apology. She actually said "I understand you called and were very, very upset" - never once did she admit she dropped the ball or apologize for the inconvenience. High-five Codi. Lee probably shouldn't work with customers. (4/9)What has happened to this company?

I bought a Bullfrog Spa from them (via Sarah) in 2014, replaced the cover in 2016, and I called them on March 1 (2019) to order a new cover as I was selling my home. and they said 10-14 days. I followed up 14 days in as I hadn't received a call and received an apology and a promise they would look into it and call back. Heard nothing. Called back about a week later, another apology and a promise that they would find out and call me back.

Then I called a few days before my house was to on the market and they promised it would be ready on April 1. but since I wouldn't be there, they would add a $100 fee to swap out the old for the new. Ok, whatever. So, now I am in another state and my realtor calls to tell me that the cover, which was to be swapped out 8 days ago (on 4/1) is still the old one.

I call and spoke to Cody who apologized (very nicely) and has now promised she will speak to Lee (apparently the person who repeatedly dropped the ball) and get back to me. These guys used to be great, but this is just bad. bad. bad. I hope they recommit themselves to service and communication and regain the trust of customers like me who trusted them with our business.

We've had two other pool companies whose service and integrity were questionable. I LOVE Robert Allen's staff (especially Lei and Cody) and their willingness to always go the extra mile whenever a problem with our pool or equipment arises. Proactive, honest, and super pleasant people to work with -- and it's always great that the same people are there season after season and know who you are.

Great customer service and care. We bought our hot tub a year ago and enjoyed it ever since. Recently we moved and called to have them help us to relocate it. Both times the crew were extremely nice, knowledgeable and professional. They worked quickly and took care of our unit. I would highly recommend using them and their hot tubs rocks!

We purchases out hot tub in 2013. Robert Allen disposed of our old equipment and was very prompt in installing our new hot tub. They have all parts and chemicals to maintain the equipment in perfect operating condition so I get all my hot tub supplies from them. We love our hot tub and appreciate how helpful all of the employees have been during the past four years.

We love the spa and use it all the time. Robert Allen and crew has been friendly and helpful from installation to any questions we might have. We struggled in trying to find the right spa for our first purchase and found so many different companies. We lucked out with Robert Allen

I would have given zero stars if I could. This is a horrible company. If you are interested in installing a new pool, don't even bother trying to hire this company. They don't follow up and they don't return calls. They came to the house and looked at the project, then a month (and numerous phone calls) of trying to get an estimate out of them, they finally told me they are just too busy to bid my job and weren't interested.

Talk about unscrupulous! Who keeps their potential customers hanging on for that long, just to tell them you are not interested in working for them? I found another company that was more than happy to bid my job. I am so glad Robert Allen Pools didn't take my job. I know it would have been a nightmare dealing with them.

Robert Allen Pool and Spas has been servicing our pool all summer. Today 2 of my dogs got out and one of their techs spotted them, rounded them up and brought them home and put them in the back yard and shut the gate that was left open.

I have had at least 9 spas at the various homes over the years. By far, the best spa and service we've had has been from Robert Allen Pools and Spas in Reno. The Bulldog spa is outstanding but more importantly, the aftercare (service) is more outstanding.

I can't thank the Allens and their staff enough, for making the spa buying experience as simple and pain-free as possible. We absolutely love our Bull Frog R6. First snow of the year and we were enjoying the great outdoors as a family! I can't believe I waited so long to buy one. Our kids can't wait to get in every night!

We bought a house in Incline Village that has a BullFrog hot tub. When we learned that it was purchased from Robert Allen Pools & Spas we visited the Reno, NV store. We learned so much from Sarah. from the marvelous and attractive features of the hot tub to the proper care and maintenance.

I have been a customer of Robert Allen Pools for over 12 years. Anytime a have had a problem with one of my two bullfrog spas, they have been right there to provide service and repair. I recently had an expensive repair that I felt should be under warranty, and although Bullfrog disagreed, Robert Allen stood behind there product and warranted the part for me.

We had our pool resurfaced, as well as the pool deck re-done with pavers, and a new automatic pool cover. This whole process needed to be coordinated with the paver construction company and it was done without delay and with fantastic results.
