After officially launching the Rittenhouse Handyman in 2012, business has experienced exponential growth with dozens of satisfied customers.There are now 5 qualified partners working with Rittenhouse Handyman, LLC (Pat, Angelo, Nate, and Adam). Rittenhouse Handyman, LLC is licensed in the city of Philadelphia and insured under a comprehensive liability policy. I have used Rittenhouse Handyman probably 4-5 times now, and I've had a great experience every time. They're extremely responsive by email and quick to send estimates, and Nick and the team are always on time (or early) and do great work. I've used them for a variety of projects, and been pleased with the results every time. They're flexible, proactive, and able to handle a wide variety of work. Honestly, it's been a huge relief to find them and they're now one of my go-to contacts. Highly recommend.

Finding service people is getting increasingly difficult. Small jobs? Almost impossible! My job was so small, I thought no one would take it on. The Rittenhouse Handyman responded same day, made the fix next day, and sent me an invoice I could pay through a merchant portal (another plus, as most smaller shops don't have that option.) I plan to save their contact info for future projects on my 2nd home.

Get your to-do list ready. I've hired these guys three times and each time they show up promptly and do anything I need done during the time I've hired them: hang a chandelier (including patching and painting ceiling); hang 7 large paintings in awkward spaces; install a bunch of hooks; install baby gates; install a NEST doorbell; assemble an outdoor shed; hang a mirror; put up shelves; install anti-tips. I'm sure there's more but I can't remember. They do great work and will trouble shoot to get the job done.

They came on time. They mounted my new TV. When my old mount for my old TV didn't work, they went to the store to get the new one. They also installed my new microwave, replaced a light, fixed my screen door, and fixed a indoor door that wouldn't stay shut. They did a great job and were very nice. Service:TV mounting

Highly recommend this place! I have had a couple of different projects done the last year and every time the experience has been great from start to finish. From how easy and QUICK it's been to set up and confirm an appointment to getting an accurate and competitive cost and time to complete estimate. Nick is respectful, competent, and unlike other contractors always on time and very efficient in his work!

A couple of weeks ago we noticed significant water penetration around our doorway after the last big storm - an urgent issue that needed to be fixed ASAP. I contacted Rittenhouse Handyman and they were super responsive - Nick made time to come out that day to take a look and did a great job getting everything fixed and before the next storm. I appreciated that he texted me over the weekend after a storm just to check in to see if everything was dry. Great company, great price, and easy to schedule and get in touch with - will definitely be calling them again!

We had a simple drywall hole replacement in our bathroom ceiling, and we had people who promised to fix it and we never heard from again, and people who said they'd fix it for $800. When the Rittenhouse Handyman quoted a wonderfully reasonable price and scheduled a time in the next week, I had doubts. They showed up EARLY. 15 minutes early. What contractor does that?
And they were happy to wait until I could get home to let them in. They were able to finish the work in an hour with quick setting plaster and a hair dryer. And also helped with a quick electric connection fix that the prior contractor fudged. And the cost was exactly as quoted. Completely professional. They will be first on my speed dial next time.

I asked the previous owner of our new home who to use for the many tasks we needed done when moving in and was told - The Rittenhouse Handyman! My advice call him first! Tim was not only quick in his response time to our inquiry, he was on time, fast in task completion and his service over multiple visits were all first rate and well beyond our expectations!

I've used Tim's services on three occasions now. He has picked up and installed shelving for me in my closet, caulked and painted window sills, changed all the batteries in my smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and resolved an issue with my alarm system. He is very reasonable and reliable. I highly recommend the Rittenhouse handyman!

Tim is reliable, affordable and a great handyman. Tim came to my apartment to hang curtains, replace a cabinet door and move some heavy items for me - he was cheerful, ON TIME(!), and even ran to the hardware store to pick up a few items for me. I will continue to use Tim when I need help around the house and I highly recommend him!

Tim was knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly! He showed up when he said he would, was on target with his estimate about what the work would entail, and got everything taken care of in a timely fashion. The process was super easy and Tim was professional from start to finish. I would absolutely work with him again and recommend him to anyone in the area.
