We live in a uniquely colored 1880's Victorian, and almost everyone that came out to look at / quote addition of mini-splits to our 2nd and 3rd floors shied away from the task. Joe not only came out when he said he would to look at the job, but he figured out in short order how best to install the units that minimized the visual impact to the exterior of our home.

They worked with me on the contract, and were not only able to work us into their schedule quickly - they actually came when they said they would. The install team were respectful and efficient, and finished when they said they would. I had been recommended to Regan by a neighbor after many failed attempts with other suppliers, and while their price was on the high side, I'm so glad I went with them because they did exactly what they said they would do, when they said they would do it.

In addition, I have every confidence that they will stand behind their work, and since they are a Diamond Elite dealer for Mitsibushi (supposedly one of the highest rated units available) we get extra time on the warranty. I highly recommend this company!

I would give our experience with Regan 6 stars if I could. On 1/15/22 they discovered a crack in our furnace during a Saturday service call when we were having issues with our heat. I called them on Monday 1/17 (a holiday!), and they set an appointment for their home comfort specialist, Joe to come out and provide an estimate the next day on 1/18 for a new furnace. Joe was extremely kind, thorough and provided us with 3 quotes for 3 different units.

We selected a unit and had it installed today, 1/20. Working with the techs and Joe was incredibly seamless and provided more than 5 star customer service. I can't thank them enough for the speed in which we had a new furnace and even a brand new thermostat. The techs were extremely knowledgeable about the new unit, kind and provided a wealth of information about the new system to someone who knows very little about HVAC.

They were extremely neat in the work and left the area around the furnace immaculate. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone, and they service our central air as well. My last tip- get the annual service contract- it is also worth its weight in gold when you have heating issues during a long weekend.

First time using this company and worst experience ever as a customer, I had my new heating system installed by them, everything working fine until I decided to upgrade my thermostat, first of all they don't install equipment provided by the customer and I needed a tech to check the wiring because the new thermostat is not working properly, I found out the wiring for the first floor is mismatched and the unit for the second floor C wire not connected.

I've been trying to get a tech to go to my house and check the wiring but just getting the run around at the end I had to call a different company to get it resolved. I wouldn't recommend this company ever, poor customer service experience killed any additional star rating.

THIS IS A GREAT COMPANY! Regan installed a mini-split system at our home in Westerly and we could not be happier. From the opening phone call, to meeting with the sales rep, Adrian, to the 3 man crew who installed the unit - each was so professional! Too often when you call or meet a service representative they act like they are doing you a favor. Not the people at Regan. THESE PEOPLE GET SERVICE! Call them - you will not be disappointed.

We placed a call for no heat early this fall. Tech came out and fixed a very minor issue. While there he noticed a leak in a zone valve. He didn't have the parts and said they would have to write up a proposal to replace the valve and a pipe that corroded due to the leak. They never sent a proposal. The leak was not major at the time, but in December it started leaking seriously.

After calling for service, they looked up the old record, realized they never sent a proposal and so never ordered the parts we needed. It took them 10 days to get the correct valve while I was collecting and dumping 15 - 20 gal of leaked water a day. Wen they came to do the repair, they did not bring pipe to replace the corroded pipes that the original tech said we would need back in the fall.

Now we have to go through the process all over again to get a proposal, order the parts and redo the work the first tech did to replace the valve. Not to mention all the other parts that were leaked on and rusted during this time. In my dealing with them, it seems like they don't have enough staff to handle the business they have.

I had a great experience with Joe Ashness at Regan one hour heating and air. Joe made sure I got the best solution and pricing; I got three comparable quotes and Joe still came out with the best solution at the best price. The dream team of Dexter, Tim and Jeff were phenomenal. Quiet, efficient, fast and clean. They were so efficient, neat and cleaned up after themselves it was a joy to work with them.

All were very knowledgeable too. Air conditioning is a big expense and I gotta say it was the best money I ever spent. Joe and his teams delivery of the solution made me that much happier about my purchase. Thanks and call Joe and he will help keep you cool!

I'm so pleased with my installation and most of all the end result. I was able to utilize the air just in time for the last heat blast of the summer. The team that worked here was very professional and took the time to explain the system and answered all my questions. I recommend them highly. As a matter of fact my Brother was so impressed with my mini split he too is installing next month. Thank you. Best money ever spent

We wanted to get Ductless AC installed, Saw their TV ad and called them along with 3 others. Regan was the first response and they came out to give Est. as did two of the other 3. Of all these Joe from Regan was the most professional, on time, very knowledgeable and had NO "Oh that will be a problem", "that will be extra " etc. Came back with estimate the same day.

Estimate was middle one of the 3. I signed them on 2 days later and had an appt. set up for the next week. One of the others was over a month out. On the appointed date Joe showed up right on time and we went over the whole plan again. About 15 min later the two man crew arrived and spent time with Joe going over what was to be done. The crew then started to work. Orlando and his partner were fast, neat, answered any questions I had, and were VERY neat and clean considering it was raining the whole time they were here and they were in and out of the house. Every part of the installation was done in a VERY workmanlike manner. House is now cool. I highly recommend REGAN!

Meeting with the salesman a breeze. Responded almost immediately.like you couldn't possibly respond faster. Worked with me on getting rebate from National Grid and explained my product options and the process thoroughly. Appointment was confirmed ahead of time. Salesman and Techs showed up on time on day of install. Clean, neat, efficient and ultra professional.

They worked with me to suit my needs. Scheduled the job for 2 days, done in less than a day. I've been enjoying a climate controlled house since. I'd recommend them to anyone.

Terrible HVAC company!!! There's a reason that they get 2 stars on here. Dealt with them for multiple commercial and residential projects over the past year. Never again. Horrible experience. Bunch of liars from the top (Terry and Matt Regan) to the bottom. Way overpriced and the work is terrible. Got quotes nearly half the price yet I still went with them because I thought they were good.

I even used them after my residential job because I thought maybe the commercial side would be different. Big mistake!! Been lied to on every project that I've had with them over the past year. While every installation or service call has been horrendous and time consuming. After spending over $25k with them, I had the nerve to question a $700 inspection bill which I never signed a contract and was never explained.

After questioning the bill, owner called me a 'deadbeat' and threatened a lien on my property. Then the owner tells me that he likes to place 'deadbeat' signs on customer's front lawns. Against my lawyers advice, I paid the bill only to be insulted further by owner. Much better HVAC companies out there who actually treat their customers with respect and courtesy. And you won't pay double the amount for inferior work.

I just wanted to share with everyone the great job that Regan's Heating and Air did installing A/C's in our home! Unfortunately for us our home just wasn't set up to have central ac, so wall units was the way to go... however in our family room I did not want a wall unit as they are just not attractive hanging on the wall...so I had found out about a ceiling ac unit that seemed perfect!

We had FIVE companies/people come out and FOUR of them (along with others we had spoken to via messages and sending pictures) told us that a ceiling unit in this room was IMPOSSIBLE and tried talking us into the wall unit.... but Regan said they could do it! And THEY DID! It looks great! Their workers were so respectful and kind and very personable especially Nick and Jared!!! I'm am so thankful I didn't listen to anyone else and went with Regan's

Took a day out of work to get a quote from these guys on a mini split system. Bruno told me he'd email me the quote in a day or 2. It's been 3 weeks and he won't respond to my emails. Business must be good. I'm not gonna beg you to take my money Edit: they apparently had my email wrong, even though I had emailed them to ask for the quote when I hadn't received it promptly. Maybe it was just a lack of tech savvy-ness but seriously like check your inbox idk what to say

We were due for an entire new HVAC system (new boiler, furnace and AC unit). My in-laws used Regan in the past and had a good experience with them, so figured I'd give them a shot. From start to finish, Joe A. and his crew were great about providing a quote, explaining the different options (pros/cons and potential changes in cost) and getting a time slot scheduled to have everything installed.

Our project took 4 weekdays and the crew was there each morning on time to start the work, with Joe reaching out to check-in when needed. Everything was installed properly and they ensured they cleaned up at the end of each work day. 4 days later, everything worked perfectly, they were done when they said they would be and we paid off the remaining balance, easy peasy.

Would definitely recommend Regan for anyone looking to do an HVAC overhaul/central air installation. Also, ensure you sign up for their regular maintenance, that way they keep everything running like new.

Our heater stopped working yesterday, late morning~guys were here at 1:00 to diagnose the issue. Returned today with the necessary part and my house is already toasty warm. Chris was very nice and super informative. Would recommend to a friend.

Technician came to look at my central ac unit on July 20 told me there was a service charge of $139.00 but would be put towards a repair or new installation it's sept 20 and still no estimate on a repair or new installation I have called numerous times with no results and my ac is still out worst company ever I would not recommend

Excellent overall experience from estimate to installation. Initially, Mike Vescera, home comfort specialist, came to the house and spent much time exploring and reviewing options. Dexter and his crew worked neatly and upon completion reviewed all functionality of the system. We would highly recommend Regan Heating and Air Conditioning.

Regan was the first to provide a quote for a mini-split heat pump installation for my home. I also received quotes from three other vendors for the same heat pump unit. I'm really glad I did get some other quotes. The quote I had from Regan was 25% higher than the next highest quote I got, and 32% higher than the quote from the vendor I selected for the same exact equipment and installation design. Caveat emptor!

Had an emergency and the central AC stopped working. I searched google and they were the first to come up. I thought the whole "one hour" thing meant they would at least be professional but of course when I called they told me there was a 2 week waiting list just to do an AC recharge. Ridiculous. Don't waste your time.

Had a brand new AC/Furnace installed by these guys in Aug of 2013. Repeated issues--like a loose wire connection to thermostat that they wanted to charge hundreds for--(another company discovered it--no charge.) Just discovered unit is down 3 lbs refrigerant and there is oil in my condenser. means there is a leak somewhere. Could be major cost. UNIT IS NOT EVEN 5 YEARS OLD! I have found that most of these companies are thieves. Not a trustworthy soul in the bunch.

You left us in our hour of need!!!! I was so happy when we called for service and you responded promptly. Something was wrong with our boiler. Eddie came out and was great. He said we needed a new motor and we should think about replacing the circulator pump. He was going to have the office check on the motor the next morning. You couldn't get the motor until Tuesday (4 days) so we drove 3 hours to get one.

The motor was not the only problem. After much discussion over the liability for the brand new still in the box part that we were able to get, you agreed to come out again. We just wanted heat and didn't care that you wouldn't warranty any of the work since we bought our own part. We installed the motor correctly but the system still wasn't working. Max installed a circulator pump.

The system was still short cycling. It was recommended that we check the supply stores the next day, (one of which only sells to contractors), and try replacing the aqua stat and or the control board. You couldn't figure out what was wrong and you left us to fix the problem ourselves!!! I wish there was a option for zero stars. The service was worse than poor. Fortunately for us, a very kind man at Parts4heating spent hours trouble shooting with us so we were able to at least get some heat. I have never had a service professional abandon me to finish the repair myself.

I called Regan last week because my heat was not working in our basement. As this was not an emergency because the heat was working throughout the rest of the house, I did inform the person that I spoke with that this is our children’s (2 & 4yrs.) playroom. We were not existing customers, this was our first call to them. They had somebody out the very next morning with the problem being solved within an hour.

We are highly impressed with the wonderful customer service we received and the efficient response to our call during a busy time of year! We are happy to now be clients of theirs and highly recommend!

We had an $8000+ Mitsubishi unit installed less than a year ago. Since it was installed we have had a very annoying intermittent clicking sound. We have been unable to get anyone to come out to service the unit. The women that answer the phones to make appointments are extremely rude and unwilling to help. My guess is that they are trying to push us off until after the warranty on the unit has expired so then they will be able to charge us for service. Has I known this company provided such awful service we would have chosen another company for our heating and air conditioning needs.

We have used them 2 times- one for heat and one for air. Both times at the worst time- a weekend! We lost our upstairs heat on the Sunday night before the projected blizzard due on Tuesday. Wyatt the service tech was scheduled to come out the next day - Monday. I was very nervous that he would not make it there on Monday as he had so many calls and they fit us in.

My only frustration was that when I called the office to see if i could get an idea of when he might be here, the women in the office just said "We don't know. Just call back in 1- 2 hours". That kept me stressed and at home all day until he got there around 4-5 pm. They could work on that aspect of customer service. However, he was able to get the heat to go back on again, but we did need to get the part replaced.

It was replaced early Tuesday as he had to go back to the store to get the part and then we had heat! Just recently our A/C fan started to make a horrible sound- of course on a Sunday again. I called and they said they only came out for customers on their maintenance program on the weekends. It was Wyatt again and I told him he had been out there a few months ago and it was 95 degrees and we couldn't keep our A/C on.

He checked with his manager and then came out. He was able to get the fan started again, but advised us to replace as the unit was 13+ years old. He would turn in the paperwork and someone would get back to us with the cost and labor to replace the part. Somehow there was a mix up and I called several times to see where it was and then forget. I called again and the manager had sent an quote via email that I never received so Michelle in the office sent it to a different email and I received. it.

We approved the cost and they will be here this Monday. Not sure why my experience was more pleasant but we are very pleased with the results. Wyatt is very professional and to the point. Very glad we got him twice. He remembered our house and us and that means a lot!

We recently had central air put in. My house has never felt better. From start to finish this has been a top notch company to deal with. They explained the process, allowed my input and were incredibly professional. I have dealt with other HVAC companies in the past when a mister slim was put in and their mistakes cost me. If you want a job done correctly- Go with Regan!

We recently had A/C installed in our upstairs. Regan One Hour Heating employees were very professional and prompt on scheduled appointments (estimate and install). Frank and Nick were the installers, both were very courteous and a pleasure to have. They were neat, clean, and very conscientious on their workmanship.

Great first experience with Regan today! Came home at 5pm to our Central Air not working and called them. They were very nice on the phone and within 20 minutes had a service tech (Al) call me back. Al was at our house 1 hour later and we were fixed within 30 min! He was very nice and we were thrilled to get someone to come by at night to help us! Thank you!

Terrible company to deal with. the customer definitely comes last. after trying for 6 days to get my leaking water heater replaced, I went to another company. they responded in one day. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was transferred to a voicemail. I sent an email to the "mregan" email address on the website. they don't even have the decency to respond or acknowledge it. terrible experience

Got a call to reschedule my annual burner cleaning. I simply asked why they were rescheduling it. The lady on the other end of the phone copped a really bad attitude with me and said that people that have no heat come first. She added an that people with medical conditions also come first if they have no heat. That's all well and good in the middle of the winter. December, January, February.

But this is in the beginning of October 56 degrees out and raining. The other thing that I found that was odd is they had 6 days to catch up on there "no heat customers ". Now I am very skeptical if I have a burner problem sometime in the future and it is the winter. They can't handle a simple Berner and tune up in October how can they handle real emergencies when winter comes.

Had Regan A/C give me an estimate for central air conditioning. I gave them the model numbers of the Rheem air handler and compressor I wanted installed. A salesman came over the house and wrote up the estimate. He wanted me to sign the contract then and there. When I looked over the contract, I saw that he switched the model numbers I had given him to a less expensive single stage unit. This company is not trustworthy.

This would be 3 and half stars if I could give that. It was the beginning of December and we had been told that our heating system was unsafe and would need to be replaced. I called several companies to get quotes and a few of them got back to me, but Regan was the most professional and prompt. Bruno arrived at my house right on schedule to perform the initial estimate process and talked me through the different options for replacing the system.

A few days later I called back to schedule the service. They fit me in right away which was great because it was a big job and we were without heat. The job was completed on schedule and the technicians I met were all very nice and professional. They did a nice job cleaning up (we had vents cut into our ceiling and walls) although they didn't put a door back on that had been taken off, but that wasn't a big deal.

I was grateful that they were able to complete the job on schedule and I felt the pricing was fair. Things that I would change: I had to ask to get the estimate in writing - it wasn't a problem but I think that should be a standard practice. Regan also handles the processing for rebates if you are eligible for one, which was explained but sort of vaguely to me. I had to call to follow up and make sure the process was completed. Overall, I felt the service was very good and I would definitely use them again for future service needs.

We had some issues with our heating system in our new house. I called Regan Heating and Air Conditioning on Wednesday and set up an appointment for Friday at 8:30am. Peter from Regan arrived at my house exactly at 8:30am on Friday morning. He quickly dealt with the problems and explained me the issues with my heating system. Although the systems only need a little tweeking, Peter looked over everything to make sure there was no bigger issues lurking.
