I was looking for good paint for my daughter's room she is 3 years old. I needed something long lasting and easy to wipe when she decides to make her art work on the walls. I don't know much about paint and I didn't know what to get but the staff was amazing at answering all my questions and recommended ULTRA SPEC SCUFF-X it comes in any color you want.

I picked OC-65 Chantilly Lace is in order to use it everywhere especially after I heard it retains its color after cleaning! The paint we have now peels when I just wipe it but this SCUFF-X is great it was easy for me to paint by myself. I recommend this store it was pricey, but worth every penny! If you open an account in their computer system you get a discount. I recommend it for those that have bad memory, because it saves all your purchases and it comes in handy when you need more paint.

I highly recommend this store to anyone searching for the perfect paint! This was my first experience using Benjamin Moore paint and I will never look back to the off brands I've used in the past! The Benjamin Moore paint went on so smoothly and looks amazing! The staff helped me pick out the color after seeing my vision and I'm convinced there was not a more perfect color for me & my project.

It was really refreshing to go into a store and come out confident and knowledgeable about my purchase. I was completely clueless about what paint to use where and why and what type of brushes I needed. They explained it so I would understand and remember and were super helpful without being pushy and I appreciate that immensely. I first went here to buy some metallic glazes. I was so impressed with the willingness to help me and find just the right product that I told my husband I wanted to buy all of our paint here for our new house! This store represents customer service at its' finest! What a pleasure to do business with!

I ordered $600 worth of paint and was told the latest it would be ready was the following day at noon but most likely around 9am. They said they'd call when its ready. The next day after no call from them I called to check at 3pm and it wasn't ready. Around 3:30pm I get a voicemail saying they're mixing the paint now and it will be ready to pickup asap.

I couldn't get to the store before it closed so I went the next morning at 7:30am when they open. Guess what, it's still not ready. So I sit in the store for an hour while they experiment with the colors and mix it. There is no excuse for not keeping customers updated or at least apologizing for not upholding their end of the deal. Extremely unsatisfactory.

What a great paint store--thorough attention paid to getting exactly what you want. Reckless can match any paint color from any other manufacturer, so if you saw a great Olympic color, no problem, they'll get the exact match.

It has been years since I painted, so I was delighted to find out that Reckless Paints still knew the exactly what color I used. They offered of have the custom color mixed and ready by the time I could drive to the store.

OUTSTANDING! It's what you would expect from a traditional family paint store, knowledgeable, friendly staff that listens to your objectives and then makes honest, well-thought-out recommendations. I was amazed to find out how much they know about color.

I went to Reckless on a mission. I'd tested many colors on the walls of my office, found the perfect shade of gray and was subsequently disappointed by the paint quality. The sample was thin, clumpy and just of poor quality. Being an inexperienced painter in the digital age, I turned to online reviews for recommendations for high quality paint.

Enter Reckless Paint, one of the only Benjamin Moore paint suppliers in the Durham/Chapel Hill area. If you're looking for an old-school, friendly paint shop, this is the place to go. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The owner helped me decide which type of paint I needed, matched the color perfectly to the sample I'd loved and made sure that I purchased the right amount of paint.

They did mistakenly make an eggshell instead of a matte finish. I wasn't picky and could have been easily convinced that eggshell was a better option. They didn't push a 'well, eggshell is superior' sale on me. Instead, they profusely apologized and gave me a 50% discount! That's customer service. I hadn't expected anything like that (and to be honest, was completely fine with the eggshell after they showed me the eggshell paint on their walls and gave me instructions on how I should use the paint).

They carried multiple types of paint (I bought and loved the low VOC Devine paint.no priming and I only needed 1 coat to cover brown walls). I also saw paint supplies- rollers, brushes, drop cloths, etc and stains for wood. When the urge to change the colors of my walls strikes again, I'll definitely return to Reckless. I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for quality paint and service.
