I've used this guys a few times and have had no issues. The first time was just to make copies of an older basic key. The second was for a newer Honda and needed to be programmed which they were able to do with ease.

Generally I give great reviews but this time I am disappointed. I had high hopes for this place seeing it had 4 star review. The older gentlemen had no clue what he was doing. Took him forever to find the correct blank which afterwards I found out it didn't even work. After going back 2 more times I had the same results. They cannot find the correct blanks to cut and one of the keys they cut the previous time and refused to cut anymore until I tried it. Waste of time. I highly recommend not going here. If you do there is basically no parking. Good luck!

Upgrades are done without difficulties. The team did their best in replacing my old locks with the new ones and fixing other apparatuses on a good budget.

The locks were changed on the same day, I called them. Such punctual and professional workers are always appreciated. Glad to hire them and I will soon be calling them for installing some security upgrades at my workplace too.

The locks kind of started wearing off and I couldn't open the doors. I once forced the keys into it and ended up breaking them making it impossible to use the lock ever again! The expert showed at the location and replaced all the locks in just an hour. They function smoothly now, finally!

Had 2 keys cut and programmed (not cloned) by my boy Junior for my 2012 Ford Focus, in and out for less than what Dealership charged to program 1 key. Small shop/ parking lot but local, fast and effective. Keys cut perfectly, no issues with programming. Will definitely come back.

Lost keys to my 99 Mercedes C280. I had the vehicle towed to their shop. It had 2 flat tires & the inside door panel needed to be screwed in not only did they replace the car key, they also put air in the tires & fixed the door panel. I did not ask them to & they did not charge me for it. I genuinely appreciate the gestures. The customer service I received when I arrived was great they immediately fixed the issue of my AAA membership not showing the $250 they covered. I hope I don't need the service again but if I do I will definitely be going back here!

I purchased a replacement key fob from Puget Sound Locksmiths recently and I was impressed by their professionalism and knowledge. There was a little bump in the road and they didn't miss a beat correcting the issue. I would not hesitate recommending them for your locksmithing needs.

Called this business to replace a key to a car. We found a local business that was way cheaper so we called to cancel the appointment. They came anyway. The person that came was nice and friendly. He could not replace the car key so without directly speaking with us he left taking the door lock with him. No word as to when he was returning. We called the business multiple times no answer.

We finally got through to find out why they left without telling us and when they would return. Could not give us an answer. The person at the office didn't seem to care. hopefully they will return with the door lock.

These guys have helped me out twice now. Once was an old key that was worn out in my 2007 Saturn Vue. They made me a new key and a master so I would always have one put away. This time I took them the ignition and gas cap from my 1988 Kawasaki Vulcan 750. They made a key for it and I didn't have to pay for a new ignition like I thought I might. VERY PROFESSIONAL and just a great group of men that work there.

Lost the only key I had for my Chrysler Pacifica and bought one off amazon. Called these guys and explained the situation, they offered me the lowest price out of all of the locksmiths in the Tacoma area. Stayed true to the price to the very end, came out quickly and worked effectively. Frank cut and programmed my key quickly and with great costumer service. I was hesitant like most people but it worked out great for me. He also gave me a spare key that could open the car for me Incase I ever got locked out or something.

Great experience working with Frank, I lost the key to my vintage Kawasaki motorcycle and he came out and gave it a good go making a key but just didn't have the right blank (motorcycle keys aren't a typical key like a house key). We were able to find the key code on the seat lock and he took it back to the shop and showed up after I got home from work with a perfectly working key that fit all locks on the bike.

I definitely recommend Puget Sound Locksmiths, they showed up exactly at the prescribed appointment time, worked efficiently, and was an overall great customer experience! This is one of those businesses where you definitely get what you pay for.

I'm a real estate broker and needed to re-key a house for a client's listing. Not once, but twice now, no one has shown up for my scheduled appointment. When I call the number I used to schedule the appointments, no one answers or returns my voicemails. I've now spent 2 hours yesterday, and an hour today waiting for these guys to show up.

When I finally got a hold of someone to reschedule the first appointment they missed, they said they had no appointment for me scheduled, and no voicemail. I can't say I believe this. Use a different locksmith.

Our company used to do business with Jeff when this was Tacoma Locksmith. He was great. Frank continued the great service when he showed up and rekeyed my vehicle after my keys were stolen at the Mall.

I did one of those things that happen when you are in a hurry. I locked my keys in the car. Ugh I grabbed my wallet, locked the door and went to shut it at the exact same time I dropped the keys in my car. I used Yelp to find a local locksmith (with good reviews). I am so glad I called. The locksmith was at my car within 10 minutes and about 45 seconds later I was back in my car, had paid and was ready to go The gentleman was nice, polite, and very professional. If you need a locksmith give this company your business.

Great service, very helpful. Complete service and has all the electronic gear for chip keys they were quicker and saved me money over the (dreaded) dealer shop.

They do laser cut keys here so that was a plus! They did it for less than half the price Lexus was quoting me for. They even wrote down my key number so just in case I get locked out of my car or lose my keys, they can quickly cut me a new one without the original key. Very fast service and highly recommended. The price was great for the value!

I work graveyard shift in the office of a warehouse and tonight one of my drivers happen to lock his keys and phone in his Semi when he came into my office to have his paperwork processed. Called around and this place was the 3rd one on the list ( it was out of the Pine Street office btw). A male answered and the driver proceeded to ask him if it were possible to unlock his Semi and how long it would take to arrive here.

The guy on the phone blatantly said he didn't want to deal with that and HUNG UP! I'm big on customer service especially via phone because that can be a first impression of a business and how they are with customers solely based on how they treat someone over the phone. This place will NEVER get my business NOR will I ever recommend it to anyone on a personal or business basis. EVER!

Puget Sound Locksmith's commitment to customer service is impressive. They willingly honored an Angie's List coupon I purchased over a year ago. Though I live outside of their coverage area, they sent a technician to my house in the evening to try and re-key a couple of old locks I have on my door.

So I needed to get some locks changed for a rental property and had no clue who to call. The reviews on locksmith both online & YELP seem to be lacking so I decided to call them all up and see who would answer at 7pm. The man I spoke with on the phone (feel bad forgetting his name but its been a few months) was really helpful on giving me pricing, patient, and was cool with me calling around!

Now that I think about it he asked me if I had others to call. After calling around I decided that this place was on par when it came to pricing but the customer service was the best out of all the places I called. So dude pulls up next day in this LIME green van! This was straight up Ghostbusters status (Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters!). The locksmith replaced three doors with of locks for me both deadbolts & the regular locks.

I think this came out to around $140? An added bonus is he accepts credit cards and has the credit card scanner attached to his iPhone & I was the first customer he used it with too! Definitely recommend Puget Sound Locksmiths!
