We used them for almost 2 years and we had to switch. Last year the technician made us purchase chlorine tablets to help but he could not get it correctly. This summer our walls started to turn yellow and he never mention that the levels showed anything growing. I messaged the office and on his next visit my pool valves were all messed up and technician denied that he touched them when he is the only one that touches any type of settings.

I had to call a pool technician and he stated that the valves setting were messed with. Instead of trying to fix the issue at the management they said to me that it would be best if they cancelled my account and refund me for the remaining of the month. They are willing to have you as a customer as long as you don't complain even after not being able to do a simple job as to maintaining the pool water levels. My pool is a year old so it's not that the system is old.

Very unhappy with service over the past 2 years (2020 thru 2021). Used Pink Dolphin to service 2 of my rental houses. Since Covid, they never supplied chlorine tablets yet charged an extra $10 per month for the extra cost of chlorine. I supplied keys for all gates yet when they had to switch the person that was servicing the houses, they could not get in and would not service.

I was never notified and therefore pool turned immediately green after 3 weeks of non service. When I confronted "Ashley", I was told it's better that we just stop servicing. I requested my money back from the non service weeks and stopped even getting acknowledged from anyone at Pink Dolphin. It's just not the same service company that was offered when this company first started.

The newer buyers that purchased the company a couple of years ago do not live up to the same service standards that I originally signed up for. This is an expensive service not to be given chlorine tablets. The liquid chlorine evaporates so quickly during the summer that you will be at a 0 PH level by the time the service the pool again the following week.

That being the case, you need to hope service is never delayed or skipped. I would not recommend this company to anyone as there are plenty of other options who can send you detailed weekly reports and who offer to service with chlorine tablets. I feel Pink Dolphin is trying to pull as much profit as they can with each serviced house that they will cut corners to save time and money.

Just beware of what you are receiving for service with Pink Dolphin! *** UPDATE*** Sorry if $100 per month is "cheap" as I expect that I would at least get service that I am paying for. All repairs were made on the pool and equipment and there was NEVER a time that I turned down repairing any part of the pool (just maybe through Pink Dolphin doing the service every time).

You can say what you want but I have plenty of documentation to support what I say. The whole reason to have pool service on a rental is to make sure the pool is not messed up and to say that I'm too "cheap" to fix or service it correctly is completely inaccurate on your part. If I could only do more to inform more customers to beware. If $100 was $20 less than everyone else, I don't deserve to have any less of a service level because my $100 is not worth your time.

I've used Pink Dolphin since 2013 and it's only with the newer owners that took over the business that I seem to have a problem being too "cheap". I guess it's true, you get what you pay for! And note, just because you can't get chlorine tablets from 1 place, doesn't mean they are not available. Try Leslie's as they have plenty to sell pool companies like yourself.

I wanted to update my review as I know you are all doing what you can! My pool and spa are no longer green so thank you for that one! Service has been much better after we spoke and the chemicals seem to be helping. We have had a couple of missed weeks otherwise I would have added more stars but I know what's going on now which makes it easier to understand and work with. Thank you for taking the time to hear me out and work with me so we can keep our partnership going. Here's to better things in the future for us all!

This is the absolute BEST company in all ways. I do not say that lightly. They have without a doubt the most efficient staff, from office to techs and have wonderful true customer service. We have used them for years and I would never go elsewhere. This is your answer, pool people, for all your needs. Ashley in the office actually does what she says, always.

The communication from the office with us was extraordinary. We've had Dylan and Shane both of whom are extremely knowledgeable about their craft, kind, neat and always on time. All this sounds unreal, I know, and I don't do reviews ordinarily as I feel they are just my opinion, but this company deserves all praise. Hard to find people like this who do their jobs and stand by their work. Hire them!

Our pool suddenly turned green. Called pink Dolphen and they said they would be by in the afternoon. They showed up at 5 pm and had already started fixing the algae issue. The pool was also low and they were filling it. After approx 30 minutes the pool was looking good. These are wonderful people. We ended up needing a new filter as well.

When someone finally replied to my request for an estimate for pool service. He was in a hurry & didn't stay long 15 minutes or so, or provide solid answers. It took a few days before he got back to me after I tried to contact them via phone, text & contact form. When he did get back to me it was via email, a mode of contact we had not used before, it ended up in junk folder.

The email & further text conversations were very condescending & rude. He said more than once "are things not getting through"? The implication was that I was thick & not understanding. One example is the pool cleaning pop ups, he said he didn't know why they were not working & did not investigate as to why. Then in his condescending text stated that the gears were stripped & were things "not getting through" or understood.

I started researching companies before I moved into my new home. This is my 3rd pool & can not express how condescending, rude & unprofessional this person was. He never told me his name or I would have used it for this review.

We switched to Pink Dolphin a few months ago, and we are very satisfied. We had an issue with algae and the pool was cloudy and swampy. It was beyond the point where shock would do the trick, and the type of product we needed was not available locally in stores. They quickly remedied the situation (within hours!) and the water is now crystal clear. It is amazing! They are also very responsive to email requests. I highly recommend them.

Only reason for 2 stars is the people who answer the phone are professional and friendly. We are supposed to get weekly pool service. We are told our guy comes really early so while we sometimes think he hasn't come we are told he has logged coming and has sent pictures to verify? Well he clearly hadn't been here for WEEKS I saw a spot of algae and then another and then eventually the bottom of the pool was covered.

I called and was told our guy was on vacation last week (so I guess that means you just don't get service) however I explained it had been several weeks given the condition of the pool. They stated that he has logged visits every week but last week and even sent pictures? That cannot be right. The first spot of algae never left and there have been more every week.

Regardless - the CS rep said, don't worry you are on his schedule to come today. So I get home from work about 7pm and this is what I find. very frustrating. Update! While I was very disappointed and frustrated with my service- I was directly contacted by the company after hours. They apologized for the situation- agreed to place a new technician on my account- get the pool in shape today and to in general do better.

I tend to judge the value of a company not only by their shortcomings but more by how they respond to issues. Let's face it- anyone can hire a bad employee- taking accountability and making it right is what matters. I came home from another long day of work with a beautiful sparkling clean pool. It too dark to take pics now but I will post update pics in the morning. Thank you Pink Dolphin for making it right so quickly.

They have kept our 20 yr old Paddock Pebbletech pool working very well over the past 5 yrs. They installed new variable speed pumps, replaced the sand in our filter, installed a new light (under water), drained, removed the "bathtub" ring, and cleaned it. I'm having them out to replace some original pop ups soon and will update my review.

We used Pink Dolphin Pool Care for some repair work that we needed. We just bought a home and knew nothing about pools. The guy that came out was knowledgeable, friendly and fixed our issues on the spot. We were happy with services and will be using them again in the future.

After years of several pool care companies who start out good and then get lazy, I called Pink Dolphin. I am out of their weekly service area, which I understand, but they had no problem coming to assess my issues, replace my pump and filter, and most recently came all the way over to check what was happening with my pool water and give me advice on what to do to get rid of the problem.

This I did and the pool is looking great again. They also recommended a reputable pool service close to me. For all my pool machinery and technical issues, this is the first company I will call.

I changed to Pink Dolphin and my pool turned green in a little over a week. The cleaner didn't show up, so their technician cleaned the pool. The technician, trying to fix my self cleaning system, actually turned it off. When they came back to clean in again, they "shocked" the pool by throwing a lot of chemicals in the corner of my pool. Days later it was still not clean because the technician kept managing to turn my cleaning system off when he was trying to program it. I will say that I did like the receptionist. She was always kind and very helpful, but the other workers were incompetent.

My experience to start was a bumpy one. My first scheduled appointment was set for the wrong day pushing it back one week. Then, the "technician" came as scheduled. Took out my light fixture and in the process tried using my pool pole/brush as leverage snapped it off (the pool brush). At the time, just to get the light up and going, i was already expecting to pay the $450 to replace the bad fixture and bulb. But, the guy didn't even bring one to be replaced so i evicting have to schedule ANOTHER appointment.

After doing my research, i found light fixtures that averaged around $200 or less. So i decided to do it myself. I called to ask for a replacement brush the guy said he'd bring when he returned to do the light and the lady informed me he would bring one by after the holiday. Nobody ever came to my door or contacted me to let me know it had been placed on the side gate that's rarely used.

Let alone gave me a brush that's already cracked. I know mine was "used" but im not the one that broke it. Im in the customer service industry and if i break something in a customer's house, it gets replaced with something brand new or close it. I wouldn't recommend this company simply based off the brush incident alone and how it was handled.

We've used Pink Dolphin for years. They handled issues with the pool at our last house and now our new house pool. Always prompt for the appointment and courteous. I've referred them to many people who are just as happy with their services.

Had an appointment for someone to give us a quote today. When they initially set up appointment, we told the Monday was a holiday. Lady insisted they were working. Waited around all day! No one came by and no call. Made our decision that much easier with your inability to manage time! Congrats!

Steve the owner and Mike the technician were both class acts. They had a competitively priced bid, answered all questions quickly and thoroughly and most importantly did what they promised. They installed a new automation board, IntelliFlo pump and cleaned up my aged plumbing. I would highly recommend Pink Dolphin.

Definitely need to comment on this business. Steve and Mike have helped me in the past with pool repairs and pool information in general. I just called today to see if they could service my nephews pool, who just purchased a home in the Arcadia area and Steve was so kind as to recommend a reputable company, since they only service the northwestern area of Phoenix.

They will help you even if they're not going to make a buck. I'm impressed at how cordial, efficient and reasonably priced they are. You won't find a more honest company for any of your pool needs. They truly are my go to pool company forever. Thanks Steve and Mike for all your help.

Our rebuilt pool pump was leaking, and Mike gave us several options. He did not try to sell us on any of them - just stated facts. We ended up purchasing a new Pentair pump and cartridge filter. The work was done quickly and efficiently at a fair price.
