Called Phil on Friday, they came out same day and I had a quote on Saturday! Started work, on time, the following Wednesday and finished noon Friday, AS PROMISED! Excellent wood working, great tiling job as well! I wish I had some more business for them, good guys, fair price, quality work! I'll find something! Service:Remodeling

After reaching out to several other companies who were either unresponsive or gave us absurd quotes for our repair, I am so grateful to have found Phil's Handy Service. He came out and gave us a very reasonable quote to repair our deteriorating wooden deck and we had the job scheduled within a few days. They were very prompt and clean and did a wonderful job repairing our deck. Additionally, Phil helped fix one of our bedroom doors that was scraping and damaging our floors.
He had the door off the hinge, fixed and replaced within minutes. I would definitely recommend this company for any household repairs you need. They are friendly, knowledgeable and fairly priced!

We hired Phil to install a new storm door on my porch. I was blown away with the good service and reasonable price. Phil and his associate, Johnny, arrived on time and immediately went to work. Their attention to detail was impressive. Our home is older and not many things are truly square. They fitted the door, then customized the adjustment so it fit perfectly. They were clean, responsive and very professional. We will be using Phil's Handy Service for a number of projects in the future.

Phil made time to swing by my home on a busy Saturday to help me with a door that would not close due to swelling in the rain. I filled out the web form on Friday night and followed up by calling the phone number. He gave me an estimate for a new door install (excluding materials). Measuring will be done if I decide to get the work done based on the estimate.
I only had a limited interaction with him so far, but I was very impressed he kept his word and made the time to stop by and provide a temporary fix so my door is not a safety concern. Thank you, Phil!

Phil is very knowledgeable and extremely conscientious with his trade. He is trustworthy as well. Phil worked in collaboration with Jonny who we hired to remodel our kitchen by opening it up. They also retiled our floors. They did a fabulous job and our place looks fabulous. The quote we were give is the amount we paid! Phil will not disappoint!

Working with Phil was easily the best decision I made during this renovation. He single-handedly made everything stress-free from start to finish, and the end result is even better than expected. He helped me save money and time by recommending an incredible electrician, plumber, painter, gutter installation company, etc. I did a full renovation on a duplex, and we were able to get it all done *on time* and *on budget*. Phil had great communication throughout the entire process, and he was a pleasure to work with. *Update* - Just finished up with his painter, Ron - Everything came out incredible. It's been a full transformation from start to finish. Couldn't be happier with the results.

Phil provides top notch quality at a fair price. He's the first contractor I've worked with who has a perfectionist's attention to detail that matches my critical eye. He installed a new shower pan and provided custom floor to ceiling tiling with a niche in our master bathroom. He used quality products and looks to make his finished product last a lifetime.

Needed some rotten wood and beams replaced on back of house. Called Phil, left a message. He called back within a few minutes and we discussed the project. I also sent him pictures of the water-damaged wood. He said he could do the work and we arranged a time for him to come look at it. After looking at the damage, Phil moved my project up so it could be completed ASAP.

We are new to the area and I called Phil to look at some electrical issues discovered by the home inspector. Chose him because of his good reviews online. Not only did Phil fix the problem, but he discovered other things that the inspector had missed. He also gave us a quick assessment of other things in the home and answered questions for free about other projects we need to have done.

We have an older home and had been putting repairs because we could not find a trustworthy person to do the work. Phil was very prompt in returning my email and setting up an appointment. He was on time and gave me an honest estimate. The work was completed on time and on budget. I really appreciate the quality of his work.
