Recommended to to me by my childhood friend's dad, and he is a cranky, hard to please dude so I take his recommendations seriously. Anyway, if there is one thing I've learned in my short time on this earth, it's you get what you pay for. Did I originally experience some sticker shock when I read my estimate for paint and dry rot repair? Yes.

Do I have any regrets going forward with the project? Absolutely not - my peace of mind not having to deal with a sketchy contractor is totally worth it. My house is almost 100 years old so you know there was nasty old paint, old unnecessary hardware, and dry rot which took a lot of prep to deal with. Nick took the time to identify and rectify all of the problems.

Most importantly, any time I needed to communicate with him, he was prompt and honest in responding, and always showed up on time in the morning. At some point I will need to get repairs on my other property and would definitely hire again.

NBM painting was the successful bidder for repairing siding, & trim & painting the exterior of my home. His attitude and crew were professional, the work was well done. Everything in the bid was done to a high standard and a few extras were thrown in at no additional cost, to bring the job up to Mr Butkov's high standards, He and his crew were pleasant to work with.

They accomplished the job in a reasonable amount of time. Even though NBM was not the lowest bidder I am satisfied I received my money's worth for the job performed. I was a construction inspector for many years before I retired and I could find no fault with Mr Butkov's work or word. Unlike some contractors I have inspected in the past, Mr Butkov takes a lot of pride in a job well done and means what he says.

Very happy! You never know when you hire a contractor till the job is done. But rest assure Nick and his crew are true professionals. I had lots of dry rot on my siding and trim. You would never know by looking at it now. Everything matches perfect. Quality in everything they do. Attention to detail and the nicest people. I would highly recommend this company. I found them on the web and checked them out on reviews. They were very prompt in getting back to me. I was in a time crunch as I was having a surprise party the following Sunday and Thanksgiving in the same week. Nick started my kitchen on Monday at 8 AM and finished on Wednesday late in the day. It is a very large room and there was wallpaper in the whole room.

I thought there was no way it could be done. Not only was it done in the time promised but it was done beautifully. There was attention to every detail. Everything was cleaned and put back in place and with a smile. That night Nick called to ask if I was happy with the job. Thank you!
