Recoating may be your best choice to the Wood Flooring when your existing finish is lightly scratched here and there, and perhaps dulled-out as well. With recoating, no sanding is involved. The Hardwood Floors existing finish is lightly abraded with either a sanding screen or an abrasive pad, and one new coat of finish is applied.

Molton Flooring recently took out our wooden floor that had gotten wet and replaced it with new. They came in and did excellent work. Molton Flooring refinished the hardwoods in my house, and I would definitely recommend them. Jarek was great to work with. In fact, he was probably the best person I've ever worked with on a home improvement project with respect to his responsiveness and customer service. Whenever I had a question about the project, he either answered the phone to discuss my question, or he responded to my texts within a few minutes.
The quality of the work was excellent. I've had hardwoods refinished at 2 other houses I've owned, and the work Molton did was far superior. My floors look like hardwoods in a brand new house! I highly recommend Jarek and Molton.

My wife and I had over 800sq-ft of red oak hardwood flooring installed and finished by Molton Flooring. Jarek was great to deal with and he gave us 100% confidence that he could deliver what we were wanting. They matched out existing flooring and left our home in excellent condition. We ran into some surprises when we found a structural steel beam supporting some of the home.
He provided a creative and functional solution that did not cost us any time or money and left us extremely happy. We had a handful of quotes and they were also price competitive. Jarek the owner /operator of Molton Flooring is a true European craftsman who did an unbelievable job refinishing our oak hard wood floors. He and his crew were polite, highly responsive, and worked efficiently and with little mess. We were concerned about the dust, but this was not a problem at all. I would give Molton Flooring my highest recommendation and believe that they offer the best value and results in the Raleigh area.

After a long process involving contractors that were unreasonable in their terms to ones that never returned phone calls, reaching Jarek was a blessing. He was on time and reasonably priced. We left for vacation and returned to beautifully refinished floors. The shoe molding was fitted to perfection. They even cleaned the dust from the walls and counter surfaces and touched up paint on the baseboards. I would gladly use Molton Flooring again.

Jarek of Molton flooring refinished my wood floors all over the down stairs area of my home. I rate the work quality as outstanding. His customer service was equally outstanding. I interviewed at least 5 flooring contractors and chose Jarek since he was knowledgable about his profession and actually did the work, and doesn't sub-contract to others to do the work. The result was an awesome job with no hidden fees or up-charges. I would highly recommend Jarek to friends and family, great price and great service!
