Very knowledgeable, professional and explained what he was going to do.and went right to work amazing in this hot weather.what he accomplished and completed the job.5***** all the way.thanks Jared. Do NOT use this company, especially if you plan on using a renovation loan or are buying a house with a FHA loan! Working with this company was a nightmare to begin with. When we initially called the company, we explained that we would be using a renovation loan to fund the project and went into clear detail how said loan worked with payment. We were assured that it was ok, thus we scheduled an estimate.

We had a limited amount of days to get the quote in to our lender, and was upfront about that. We were told by the estimator that we would have the quote either later that day or the next. We ended up having to hound the company for the quote and it took a week to receive, thus delaying our close the first time. Receiving needed information from this company was worse than pulling teeth.

The worst part was when it came time for us to receive the clear to close. Our bank sent Michigan Screen & Window Repair the agreement, and on the third business day they still hadn't sent the agreement back. With renovation loans, you need a signed agreement in order to receive the funds for the project. No work would be asked of 94 done before payment.

After many calls, we learned that they REFUSED to sign the agreement because they needed the deposit first. Why it took 3 business days to tell us this is beyond us. We then said we could write a personal check so that we could get the agreement signed. Once the bank cuts them the check, they could just reimburse us. They said NO and would only return the deposit check to the bank.

At this point we had our mortgage officer call them to try to explain better and they wouldn't budge. They even told our mortgage officer that they would have to send the agreement to their attorney first to review "and this would add time and money to our quote". Our bank has never had this issue with any contractor before, and we do not have these issues with our other two separate contracting projects.

The phone call ended with their office manager telling us that we would be best going with a different company. We were supposed to get the clear to close on our house today, and instead we are scrambling to find a whole new contractor. What this company has done is completely unforgivable and unprofessional. It should have been communicated to us from the beginning that they cannot accommodate renovation loans and time frames, especially since that was the premise of our first conversation with them. Do NOT use this company.

I have used Michigan Screen and Window on 2 projects. They are always very diligent and precise to make sure everything is done properly and in the most timely manner possible. I have interacted with most of their team, everyone is always happy to help from appointment setting to installation. I can't recommend this company enough!

Fantastic crew to work with! From the administration, to the guy who quoted, and the guys that came out to the do work it was all seamless. They were polite, easy to work with and did a great job on my windows. I've had them help with a few other jobs at my rental properties. Totally recommend!

Needed a basement window that was rotten replaced. Ryan came right on schedule to review the job and provide an estimate. He was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and gave an estimate that was well below the one received from another similar provider. On the scheduled day, Adam showed up on time, and was courteous, thoughtful and clearly skilled.

He completed the job well, and we are pleased with the results. I should add that we were also kept apprised of the status of our job, with the company (I believe Ryan's wife) calling to remind us that they were coming. I can't recommend this find service provider more, and was impressed with every contact we had with everyone we dealt with. A standout company!

We needed a picture window replaced in our house so we called several places and got quotes. This place came in at a great price and they rushed it as much as possible. As soon as they got the window in, they came the next day to install it. The installer did a great job and the window was installed well and clean. We are very happy and will use this place again if we ever need it in the future. Thank you!

We had 12 new windows put in and a few window repairs. We own an old house, so the old windows would let in noise & were impossible to open. These new windows are so nice & cut down on the noise drastically! The employees were all professional & always got back to us fast. Everyone wore masks during the install, which I really appreciate. Highly recommend!

I had the balances replaced in 8 windows. All of them were difficult to open and close, but otherwise in decent shape. I was happy that the person that came to give an estimate did not push brand new windows on me since that was not in the budget. The work was completed as promised, and one return trip was made when I still had trouble with one window. Problem solved quickly. No complaints!

AMAZING work. Highly recommend. They repaired two of my windows and replaced wood around multiple windows on the coldest day of the year. Beautiful craftsmanship yet quick at what they do. Also, when they came out to quote, they were honest and gave me advice I don't think most sales people would. They told me to keep my existing windows because they were in good shape, even though they are old. I'm glad I did and even happier I went with this company.

This company saved us at least $1500 when they could repair our sliding glass door when everyone else said it needed to be replaced. They were very helpful and professional and did a great job cleaning up after themselves!

We hired Justin to replace a pane of glass in an interior door. The final product looked great, and the cost was incredibly reasonable. We'll definitely call him in the future for any window/screen needs we have.
