Countertops
Report
Today's countertops command more than mere utility. They play a significant role in the overall design style as well. While style has the biggest influence over cabinet selection, intended use should be your first consideration with countertops. Ask yourself these questions. How often do you cook? Entertain? Do you have children? Do you require something low maintenance?
Accessories
Report
When you work with our kitchen designer on layout and cabinetry, be sure to give careful consideration to your accessories and storage needs. Consider, items you have an abundance of such as pot and pans, plastic-ware or utensils. These items you use most often.
Classic
Report
Dark, rich wood tones with detailed architecture can add drama and sophistication to a room, while arched doors with glass inserts and distressed painted finishes add the perfect touch of French country charm. There are many levels of traditional to explore in our beautiful showroom.
Transitional
Report
Transitional kitchens include elements of both traditional and modern design. They can have an eclectic style because they mix different materials and finishes to achieve a unique look.
Modern
Report
Like the furniture in your home, cabinets have a major impact on the overall style of your kitchen. Typically, they will be the first selection you make in the design process to set the mood for the room. Sleek minimal design with exotic material combinations can make a striking visual impact to a modern contemporary kitchen.

First of all, it's a great showroom with wonderful designs - sinks, appliances, cabinetry, tiles, gorgeous tubs, luxurious showers - everything for your kitchen and bathroom. incredible array of ovens, refrigerators, sinks, faucets, dishwashers. Extremely knowledgeable staff (ask for Fran Asaro!) who are so excited to show you what they have and share their ideas with you. Really kind and professional and experienced. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat!

Celia, one of the designers at MCKB, helped me design and execute the most amazing kitchen I have ever seen. I now own and cook in a kitchen that is my dream kitchen beyond my wildest expectations. Celia worked with me on every inch, every corner, leaving no stone unturned, sometimes literally! I had an idea of what I wanted, and she pushed it to where I couldn't even have ever imagined.

She's a great listener and interpreter. When a design wasn't working the way we wanted it to, she went back to her desk and figured out how to make it work. But the most important thing is not only is my kitchen absolutely gorgeous, it's extremely functional. I enjoy cooking in it every single day. And when I'm not cooking, I'm just as happy sitting and looking at it.

Purchasing cabinets from MCKB has been the most expensive mistake I've ever made. After about a year of normal kitchen use (in a home with one, and occasionally two, careful adults), the expensive Signature cabinets I purchased from MCKB are, in effect, dissolving around my dishwasher; over the stove and elsewhere, edges are splitting; in some places, there is cracking; installation (by MCKB's contractor) was careless; and the cabinets are frayed around the bases.

Prior to renovating my kitchen in 2019, I had cabinets that (after 27 years) were in far, far better condition than these are now. Worst of all, because of the way the damage has occurred to the MCKB cabinets, I don't even see how they can be repaired, without ripping them out and replacing them. I haven't posted this sooner because I have been waiting - actually begging -- for these companies to do the right thing.

I just couldn't believe they had no intention to make things right. But after months of emails, calls, photos, pleading and finally threatening, neither MCKB nor Signature has paid any attention, or offered any solution or taken any responsibility for the damage, even though all the damage resulted from normal kitchen use, with normally operating kitchen appliances (each of which is identified, by make and model, on the kitchen drawings drafted by MCKB).

At one point, after some months of emails, the owner of MCKB emailed me that he'd "'personally reached out to the owners of Signature cabinetry to demand that they get back to you." That was the last I heard from him, and a month after that, no one from Signature or MCKB had contacted me. Eventually, by email, I succeeded in getting Signature and MCKB to come to look at the damage.

They took a lot of pictures. That resulted, again, in absolutely nothing. I was promised a response by last week - on a date chosen by Signature and MCKB -- and I made clear to them that the date they chose was a firm date. On that date, I received nothing other than an email that Signature had written a report, but the owner of MCKB needed to review it.

Again - the runaround. As of now, it appears that the cabinets I purchased are expensive garbage, and neither MCKB nor Signature, who have my thousands and thousands of dollars, are refusing to stand by their service, product, promises or warranty. I am going to pursue my rights against both these companies as best I can, but in the meantime, I hope I can keep others from making the same mistake I made.

MCK+B remodeled the kitchen and two bathrooms in our NYC apartment. In short, the work they did was outstanding. Everything looks beautiful. Sol Kassorla, the owner of MCK+B, made sure the work was of the highest quality. He is extremely responsive, cares about the work he does and is a very honest and fair-minded person with whom to work. He will do all he can to get to "yes" and meet your needs.

Our project was shut down by the State's COVID order in the middle of work because of the pandemic. As a testament to how well Sol runs his business, he was able -- without missing a beat -- to restart and complete my project as soon as he was permitted to get back to work. The rest of Sol's team were first-rate and a real pleasure with which to deal. Special shout-outs to Celia Reiss, the designer of our kitchen, Meryl Gotcliffe, Zinga Doyle, Fran Asaro and Ahuva Gindin for their respective roles in the project.

Amazing experience with Sol and the team! I had my brownstone completely renovated these last few months which wasn't easy considering the current affairs. MCKB was able to secure everything before the shutdown and then really fast tracked my project the moment things opened up again. The details, efficiency, cleanliness and professionalism of all the people was beyond my expectations! If you're doing a kitchen, a bathroom, a complete gut renovation then this is your place! They do the best work in New York! Hands down!

I couldn't be happier with the customer service and design direction that I got from here! I'm generally pretty picky about design and love to cook, so needless to say this really was an area that mattered a lot to me. The staff and client services at the store were wonderful. Everyone gave great insights into my options so that I could design the kitchen that suited me in my new home. Thank you!

Undertaking a full gut renovation can be a daunting task, especially in NYC. It is without exaggeration to state that our decision to engage MCKB for our kitchen remodel was the best decision we made across the entire project. Your team was extremely skillful from design perspective, maximizing every last inch of space.

MCKB has a huge beautiful showroom and the people were very friendly and willing to speak to me and not pushy. The appliance woman they have there is unbelievably knowledgable and asked us questions we never thought about and saved us thousands of dollars in mistakes. the downstairs has a bathroom selection that is small, but shows a great variety and has working showerheads!

Nearly a year later and I am still so very pleased with my kitchen. Greg was fabulous to work with on design. The product itself is amazing. We could not be happier. I recently dinged my cabinet.after a quick call to MCKB, an order was placed for a replacement, several weeks later, they came out to do the switch! No more dinged cabinet. I have nothing by positive things to say.

We went to many appliances showrooms and were not helped to our liking. Everyone was short with us and wanted to make a quick sale. When we walked into MCKB we were greeted calmly and asked if we had any questions. The salesperson was extremely knowledgeable and made sure we understood everything we wanted to know. Great recommendations and wonderful selection. Definitely recommend.

Terrible experience at MCKB. The salesman was incredibly rude and said that he would not be able to create a high end kitchen. Stay away!

Using Kitchen Expressions (MCKB) was one of the 5 worst experiences of my life. They (Sol Kassorla, Steven Naphtali) promised to take care of everything for us. What a disaster! They are everything that is bad with the stereotypical contractor.

Using Kitchen Expressions (MCKB) was one of the 5 worst experiences of my life. They (Sol Kassorla, Steven Naphtali) promised to take care of everything for us. What a disaster! They are everything that is bad with the stereotypical contractor. Our costs just kept escalating. Sol Kassorla was the builder and was your standard contractor sleazeball.

After months and months of delays and problems, they finally were able to do some work on a major US holiday when my family was visiting. Ruined everything, but they were so bad that we figured if we didn't let them work at that point, they would never come back. In their defense, some of the frustration was due to corruption by local permit officials and in the end the woodwork from Rutt looked quite nice, but it just wasn't worth suffering through months of dealing with them. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
