Update! A year later and my zoysia grass put in by LONGHORN is fantastic! It was cut too short, so scorched and dead last year from the HOA landscapers. And now it is looking like green velvet a year later

I have used Longhorn Lawns for many years now and the service has gone from okay to pretty terrible. Very unresponsive office and none of the workers speak any English so communication is difficult. The work for the lawn; mowing, edging, blowing, - both front and back- is done in 15 minutes with the results showing the lack of time and care. No thought or care to your property or needs. This company also does large projects.

Buyer beware! A project I had them bid on came in at $5500.00 The company that did the project, and did a fantastic job, ( House To House Lawns), cost a total of $2000.00 Longhorn Lawns no dodoes a good job on their projects but are ridiculously over cost! I will not be using them again for ANY services.

I first used Longhorn Lawns in about 2009 for a custom landscaping project in South Austin and their regular lawn service. Now I am in my third home since then and Heath and Longhorn Lawns were the first call I made for the new landscaping project. Kara, the designer, took my basic ideas and turned them into a fantastic design. Matt, the project manager, and the rest of the crew were very courteous and patient with my numerous questions. I highly recommend the Longhorn Lawns teams for all of your landscaping needs.

I have been a loyal customer of Longhorn Lawns since 2015. Not only do they do my regular yard maintenance, I have hired them for various landscaping projects and they always do an excellent job. I particularly like working with Kara and Heath, very responsible and knowledgeable!

I would never recommend this business. We spent well over $10,000 with them to create an oasis type vibe in our backyard. After two years and some plant replacement by Longhorn nothings alive. It looks terrible and was even protected during the cold weather. The plants they used did not thrive after two years of waiting. They first told us it would take about a year for everything to settle in well that was a bunch of baloney. I sent them a long detailed email and got no response. Save your money don't use them! Go elsewhere.
