Lonestar Overhead Doors is a local, family owned and operated company founded by John Coker. John has worked in both the garage door and iron works industry for his entire adult life. He started out as a welding apprentice working for a custom iron fabrication company specializing in all types of wrought iron home furnishing, including light fixtures and gates, when he was just 16 years old.There he gained great skills in welding fabrication and learned the necessity of paying attention to detail. John later relocated to the Dallas-Fort Worth area and began working as an installer for a well known Overhead Door company in Dallas where he spent several years learning the basic fundamentals of commercial and residential garage doors.

Our extra long wrought iron gate would not open. We needed to have a new and an enhanced receiver installed high on our post so that the signal would not get disrupted by trees and other interference from our neighborhood. Lonestar Overhead did a great job for us. I received a return call within 5 minutes of leaving a message about our problem.

If you have a automatic gate, garage door or fence issue, call John Coker at Lonestar Overhead Doors, with offices in Dallas & Allen. You get his personal attention. He provides service all over the metroplex. I called two other gate service companies, 1, I had used previously (don't know why I called that company again.

About 2 years ago is when I originally called Lonestar Overhead Doors for a garage door problem we were having. The door wouldn't close, and the person I spoke with kindly walked me through the process to fix it. It was very simple IF you knew what to do and they graciously shared this information for free.
