Hernan and his team did a great job with resodding and expanding/updating the existing irrigation system. Hernan was very responsive and helpful throughout the process. They finished earlier than estimated and went the extra mile to ensure that the job was done right. I highly recommend Hernan for your landscaping needs. I'm very pleased not only with the results but the whole experience. The crew was courteous, hard working, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I got a very good estimate, the work started when they promised to start, and finished right on time. The results were way above my expectations. The flagstone and excavation work was exceptional. Out of the floods of companies I've reached out to trying to get a quote Hernan is the first and only to call me back! It comes at no surprise that he is booked out beyond the window of what I'm needing to sell my house but I really wish I was sticking around locally so I could support his business and integrity that he upholds. Even when he knew he wouldn't be able to help me he still took the time out of his day to call, give me advice, and also warn me about the scams that are out there currently taking advantage of the crazy demand. Five stars ALL DAY for going above and beyond.

Hernan and his crew are excellent and professional. They ran additional irrigation to my backyard and laid sod, matching the front perfectly. They were clean and neat, and their work was top notch. Hernan was recommended to me by a neighbor, and I am glad I went with him and his company for my new home sprinkler installation. He was extremely responsive and helpful with answering all of my questions throughout the process. The materials he uses are high quality durable materials and his crew was very professional and cleaned up after they were done every day.

I'm a DIY guy and I've used Lawn Works to provide and deliver products including sod (zoysia), topsoil, and compost. Hernan is always happy to chat with me on the phone to ensure I'm getting the right product, applying at the right times, and in the right way for my needs. The products they acquire are always high quality and meet or exceed my expected results.
What's more they arrive when promised so I can get to work as planned (you know when you invite all your friends over for beer and sod shows up just on time). Highly recommend doing business with them.

I just had work done by Lawn Works Landscaping this week, and I was very impressed by the professional way the work was done, and the outcome was beautiful! I felt that the crew and the owner were patient with questions and meticulous (even down to the clean up process) with the work done. Another stand-out quality of this organization is the fact that Hernan offers ongoing advice about keeping the grass in good repair. I'm very happy thus far on what was done and the way I was treated. Wonderful! Wonderful!

The labor lawn works team performed to reroute and add additional heads was professional and neat. I was offended by the owner's smugness when asking questions about the type of sprinkler heads used and the scope of the work. During the negotiation I wanted to demonstrate the coverage of the irrigation zone so he would notice an additional head was needed.
He told me it was not necessary he knew what was needed. The result is a bald spot not receiving water. Had he not been so smug and more customer focused he would have seen this. Your customers are your lifeblood, get off your high horse and listen!

I feel like I found one of the few honest contractors in San Antonio! If you have built a house or remodeled you know what I am talking about. Hernan and his crew are truly in a class by themselves. They show up, work hard, don't cut corners, and after finishing are very responsive with follow up questions and/or their warrantied services. Couldn't be happier with my decision to go with Lawn Works Landscaping. We get so many nice compliments on how great our yard looks!
