I have several complaints regarding this business. First, I was told the sod would arrive in the evening so we could begin laying it first thing in the morning. They delivered it mid afternoon under scorching heat while we were still preparing soil, forcing us to extend our work well into the evening, which brings me to my second complaint - The sod was dry as a bone.
It had clearly been cut several days prior. Much of the edges were already brown. The inside of several rolls were also slimy from being rolled up and left moist inside while the roots dried up. Third, the depth of cut was incredibly inconsistent. Some of it less than a half an inch, leaving almost no roots remaining. These areas will have to be cut out and replaced, negating any benefit to the money saved per roll. Finally, they are clearly not maintaining their mower blades.
The grass blades were ragged and brown, indicating tearing from dull mower blades. In short, every aspect of their product indicates an apathetic approach to their business. Go elsewhere and spend a little more. It will cost you less in the long run.

I absolutely give this place 5 stars. The lady was super cute, I absolutely adored her shes 90 years old and has every right to be the way she is but she was respectful and joyful to talk to in person, I was intimated on the phone but tbh you have to know how much your going to buy or know the measurements she was a teacher she told me so makes sense why she asked me to take out my calculator which I am grateful because she gave you a reminder of simple math! The grass was beautiful and green, oh and super thick so worth all my money I recommend this place to everyone!

This is the 2nd time we've bought sod there. The sod seems first rate. Very fresh and looks great. We will buy again. About the lady that answers the phone. We all have older relatives that are maybe not that patient and are "set in their ways". This lady is very old school and doesn't like change. My wife spent several minutes talking to her while I was helping to load a pallet of sod.
She had no complaints. The lady was good enough to call here crew to turn around and come back to load us up. The price was way less than the big box stores, and the service was fine. My wife found out about this place when a customer at one of the big box stores suggested it. She was looking at sod at the time. We had 2 positive experiences and will be buying another pallet or two. It's an hour drive one-way.
