As first time pool owners, we wanted to talk to everyone we could and everything kept leading back to Larsen's Pool & Spa. Our initial contact was with Dan, before COVID. He showed up, answered all our questions and was extremely patient, even when we decided to wait. During COVID we called Dan again and when he showed up it was like we never skipped a beat. Dan led us through the entire process and even spent a Saturday morning with us finalizing everything.

It was smooth. Our project manager Reid led the way, managing each contractor with ease and answered all our (first timer) questions. Reid made sure even the littlest issue was taken care of and explained why certain things had to be done they way they were. Remember, first time pool owners with a lot of questions. Once the build was complete he turned everything over to Justin and Mike, and let me tell you, these two-above and beyond.

If they were in the area, they stopped by. They answered frantic texts at 8:30pm and Justin even answer texts while on vacation. From start to finish, we never felt like we didn't know what was going on and that was very important to us. We recently had our pool done with Larsen's and had a great experience from start to finish. We actually had started off with a different pool contractor who could not complete the job, but we had received our permit. We went to Larsen's and they were able to process a change request to utilize the permit and design the pool around what was approved.

From the very beginning the entire experience was first class. They made a number of design suggestions that were not an incremental expense but significantly improved the layout. Our project manager Brooks was fantastic as well and kept us updated every step of the way. We would highly recommend Larsens to anyone looking for a pool.

We highly recommend Larsen's Pool and Spa to anyone. Our journey in adding a swimming pool to our home began in 2021 with carefully reading a multitude of reviews on various pool builders available to us. Once we narrowed our search we sought the BBB ratings for the two remaining companies. Larsen's Pool and Spa had a stellar rating with only one complaint in 3 years (resolved), compared to their competitor which had 27 complaints. Eric Larsen, owner of Larsen's Pool and Spa, personally introduced himself and welcomed us.

From the beginning, we met with professionals of Larsen's Pool and Spa who guided us throughout the entire project. Our buildout began early November and was completed by Mid February. We actually paused the buildout for one month since we traveled overseas, otherwise we would have finished by mid January. Total actual buildout from start to finish took 9 weeks (13 weeks taking our pause into account).

We wanted a pool that would blend into our landscape and lake. We therefore chose not to enclose nor surround our pool with pavers. It is set within and surrounded by St. Augustine sod. We also had Larsen's Pool and Spa replace our lanai concrete pavers with the same marble coping used for pool. The workmanship was excellent. We couldn't be happier with the final results.

Our pool feels as naturally set in the yard as the lake behind our property. The equipment chosen by Larsen's Pool and Spa is working perfectly and we enjoy the option of controlling the pool light and color via smartphone. Even though we chose not to have a screened enclosure, maintenance has been minimal. We very much enjoy the open air feel when in the pool, and the final envisioned look of our yard was accomplished. We recently had a pool installed by Larsen's Pool & Spa, and the process could not have gone any smoother. I was impressed with our first contact when the owner, Eric Larsen, called to discuss our wants and took the time to ensure we understood and felt comfortable with their expectations for themselves when taking on a project. In a time when other pool companies seem to lack regard for communication and doing what they say they are going to do, we immediately felt at ease that this would not be the case with Larsen's.

Our assigned designer, Dan, answered all our questions about pool construction, listened to what our vision was, made excellent suggestions on design based on the size of our yard, and came up with a beautiful plan! Once all the permits were secured, we were handed off to our project manager, Reid. Reid met with us before the dig started to walk us through the process, answered questions, and made sure we knew we could contact him at any time.

Every subcontractor Larsen's hired was professional, kept the construction site cleaned up as much as possible, and did excellent work. I was especially impressed with the tile guy! Once the pool had water in it, Mike and Justin from Larsen's hooked up the equipment, made sure it was running well, and came out twice a week for a month to check chemicals, make sure all was running well, and make sure we understood how all the equipment worked.

From dig to water was three months, as promised from the beginning of the project! Larsen's has excellent and knowledgeable employees, long time relationships with their subcontractors and stands by their equipment choices. The communication with us from start to finish was top notch! We highly recommend Larsen's Pool & Spa when you are considering your own project.

After 30 years in our home we decided to take the plunge and add a pool. We reached out to a few pool companies by phone and online. Most could not even meet with us or give us any general information for 3 -4 months. We contacted Eric Larsen on a Saturday and he walked us through some of the basic questions about what we had in mind. He honestly explained some of the timeframes due to COVID, overall process, options and cost estimate.

A few days later our salesman, Jeff, was at our house and within a week we had an amazing rendering. After doing a ton of research and the excellent response from Larsen's we made our decision. We had a lot of questions throughout the build and never felt like we were an inconvenience. Brooks, Jeff, John and Eric were so easy to work with and make sure that we were happy with every step. We originally just wanted a pool but 7 months later, what we have is this beautiful additional living space that we love. We highly recommend working with Larsen's.

This was the third pool we have had built, and we can say without any doubt the pool that Larson's built was far superior to the other two. The quality and craftsmanship are exceptional, the team at Larson's is very responsive, the follow-through consistent and we received continual communication throughout the entire process. We now have a beautiful outdoor living space that we thoroughly enjoy. Larson's may be a little more expensive than other builders but the quality and commitment by the entire team is well worth the difference. We would highly recommend Larson's to anyone who is looking to build a pool.

We did a lot of research and interviewed a lot of companies. We chose Larsen's Pool and Spa because we wanted a modern custom pool and not a cookie-cutter design. We had special considerations due to elevation and from conception to installation the Larsen team knew exactly what to do. They were able to take our ideas and make it a reality. We met with a Larsen principle and construction leads to walk the property and I worked closely with a designer.

Material selection was easy with the guidance of the project lead. My project lead, Reed called me at the end of every week to update me on the progress and to discuss the next weeks plan. Reed was very meticulous in overseeing the worker's progress. We had the usual delays expected during this pandemic, but their communication was appreciated. With so many stories of companies overextending themselves to the point that they were unable to finish pools they had started, the discovery/research part of selecting a company was scary.

Their reputation speaks for itself, and they put us at ease. We can't say enough about the value for money spent. The Larsen Pool start up crew made weekly visits for one month after pool completion to check the chemicals and to make sure we understood how to maintain the pool and equipment. The pictures do not do this project justice. We are super happy with our decision, and we know you will be also!

I am so pleased and RELIEVED that we chose Larsen's Pool & Spa as our pool builder! They have an excellent reputation for a reason. We signed our agreement with them after the pandemic started and they stuck with us, answering all our questions, explaining the steps that had to happen and maintained their timeline. There were a lot of pools being put in at that time and Larsen's Pool & Spa did not overextend themselves like others. No surprises, open communication - and we have the most beautiful pool in our neighborhood. I would highly recommend them.

I found this company to be quite un responsive. I spoke with the owner and was then referred to a "designer" who would schedule a time to speak. Jeff finally made contact with us (after 3 repeated calls). We were then asked to schedule another phone conversation for this morning after sending in pictures at their request. We actually sent in a video and a detailed site plan.

At the appointed hour this morning, no call once again. They must be too busy now to provide good customer service. Enjoy the good times now as they won't always be this easy to get business

I believe I made the right choice with Larsen's. They followed through well, and the project was completed in a reasonable time frame. Quality is most important to me, and my pool shell is very thick concrete, well reinforced. The shell is much more robust than some others that I've seen. The finished product is very close to my initial vision, and I'm pleased with my pool.

There were a few issues along the way, but that is to be expected with a fairly large project. All issues and concerns were handled to my satisfaction. I know there were material price increases between the time I signed my contract and the time the pool was constructed. There was no attempt to pass these price increases on to me. This shows integrity and commitment to honor the agreement.

This pool company does high-end builds only starting at $40,000 and up so if you have a small backyard or need something basic don't even call them

I selected Larsen's Pool & Spa because of all their positive reviews and their A+ BBB Rating, and I was not disappointed. They were wonderful about making sure all of the details were taken care of to my satisfaction, and my pool and screened enclosure are beautiful! Larsen's Pool and Spa did a WONDERFUL job with building our backyard pool & spa! From the very beginning they were very professional and thorough. Our sales person (Dan Meyer) took the time to thoroughly explain every detail to us so we knew exactly what to expect. My husband and I are finance professionals and really take our time evaluating all options before making a decision. Dan was extremely patient with us through the process.

We appreciated that the company provided an itemized breakdown of the costs for us so we knew exactly where every dollar spent was going towards. Dan also did a wonderful job creating a unique design for our pool/spa combo. Every other company that came out to give us quotes just drew a basic rectangle shaped pool, but Dan really put time and thought into his design and it showed!

We also appreciated that Larsen's provided an all-in quote and would return funds if things weren't needed (like well points), compared to other companies that provided us lower quotes to "win the business", but then said there could be additional expenses. As finance professionals, we like to know exactly how much the project could cost and really appreciated this approach.

Once construction began we worked with Jason and things moved quickly! We did have some weather delays, but that was to be expected. My husband is a bit of a perfectionist, so he was constantly checking on the detail of work being completed. If he wanted something changed or corrected, we just let Jason know and a crew was out to make it perfect for us, no questions asked.

The level of customer service and communication throughout the entire project was very much appreciated and allows us to enjoy our beautifully finished pool and spa even more. We are SO HAPPY with the final product and the experience we had leading up to it. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Larsen's Pool & Spa to any of our friends and family!

Larsen's Pool and Spa did a great job from start to finish. They are very courteous and professional. Their follow up once the pool is done is second to none. Very informative and set you up to be a successful pool owner. Our project manager Jason worked with me every step of the way. He was always very responsive to any questions I had during the build.

Would absolutely work with them again. Last but not least, the finished product is WELL worth their price. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to our friends, family and neighbors.

We decided to add a pool to our home and didn't know where to start. I am very picky when it comes to having service done and stopped by a competitors showroom first (and had a bad feeling). So I called Larsen's next and they mentioned to check Angies List. So I came home, signed up (as I wasn't a member), and read all the wonderful reports for Larsen's.

As first time Pool owners, we went through the process of talking to several pool companies before deciding to work with Larsen's Pool and Spa. We are very pleased with the construction of our new Pool and Deck. The contractors worked with us from the beginning to ensure that we were comfortable with everything from the design to the products being used.

We went through the process of talking to a few pool companies and Larsen's seem to be the most knowledgeable about the process. They were very up front with us throughout the whole process with the time line and when people would be working. They were right on with their timeline.

Just don't give Larsen's a design you liked from someone else or they will say "I believe you are merely price shopping a company specific design. I'm going to decline on further estimating your project. Thanks for your understanding." Instead of creating something similar and pricing it out because you would love our business. We were willing to pay more for an outstanding builder.

But considering the sales guy didn't read the survey correctly and first said we couldn't have a pool (despite other pool companies and Hillsborough county confirming we could) and then being upset we already had a design and were comparison shopping - I wonder if Larsen's is the best after all. I guess you're doing so well over charging others you don't need us as customers.

You made two excuses for not meeting us. Thank YOU for understanding that we will not be recommending you to others in our brand new community of residents looking to build pools at their $400k+ houses.

Contractors used by Larsens were very friendly and went the extra mile for our pool. Eric and Dave Larsen are true professionals in their craft and artistry. We simply could not be happier with our pool and everything that went into its creation.

These guys built me my dream oasis: heated pool, spa, fire pit, screened porch, fabulous paved outdoor area. I can't say enough good things about the quality of the work and the professionalism of everyone that works there. My neighbor got a better price at another place and besides the fact that his pool leaks there are design flaws that will always be an issue. This is an investment and Larsens is the best.

My husband and I love our new pool. I have never owned my own pool and feel we got really lucky choosing Larsen. They were efficient, kind, helpful and honest. Eric the owner was very kind and took care of any problems or questions that came up. Our dog has been enjoying it alittle more due to the weather we have been having here in Florida. It is the right size and style for our home.

They did a beautiful job! I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because some of the contractors were alittle sloppy. We informed our manager Jeremy and he did communicate and tried to resolve any issues. I highly recommend this pool company!

This is the second pool that we have had Eric Larsen put in for us. Our first pool by him was five years ago and we absolutely loved it. When we moved to our new home we had Eric put in a second pool for us. The same crew that put our last pool in was the same crew again five years later. He builds a great quality pool.

The contractor worked with us from beginning to end to accommodate all of our wishes and requests, including all of the times we changed our minds, and finessed the details.! This was our first new pool build, but Dave Larsen did a marvelous job of addressing our concerns and keeping us informed of the process, and endeavouring to complete the job in a timely manner.

Our pool is just completed and we are swimming in the beautiful crystal clear water. Thanks to Larsen Pool and Spa. Adam is our sales man who made us feel very comfortable and had very good suggestion. Jeremy is our construction supervisor and was wonder to work with. When we had questions he drove out on a Sunday to make sure we were happy with the design. They moved very quickly from permit to completion. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR OUR BEAUTIFUL POOL!

Larson started our pool/spa just after Christmas and within 60 days of of the the first shovel full it was done. The process was stress free and fun. All the crews were focused and friendly. We absolutely love the gorgeous transformation of our home.

I was a bit skeptical of Larsens Pools. To me Eric, came off as a sales person that never listened. He always called me the wrong name. My husband insisted that use them from reviews. We have had our pool for around 7 years. Here is what I have to say, his team was great. The experience was great- they did a fantastic job. Eric and his team built a pool in our side yard, one block from Tampa Bay.

There were challenges and they communicated, stayed on task and at one point brought 3 pumps to get the ground water out to stay on deadlines. This year we discovered a leak in our pool and Eric sent someone out to check it next day. They found the leak, fixed it and even came back to fix the chemistry in our pool afterward! Years later, they still give us amazing service. If you are wondering if you should use them- you should you will not be disappointed. - Thank you for being one of the best businesses in the area and making us so happy

Larsen's Pool & Spa designed and built me a beautiful pool / spa. I was able to get everything I wanted (Large Pool, oversized Spa, automation, internet operated, solar, and salt system). The construction process was painless.

Eric and his team did an AWESOME job with our new pool. From the design phase to installation to start up, we could not be happier. The pool looks awesome and we are going to enjoy it for years to come.

We had a very positive experience from start to finish with Larsen's on a grass roots construction of a 16x30 pool, spa, pavers and lanai. All deadlines were met, in fact some early. We really appreciated their effort to communicate and keep us informed as construction progressed. Eric Larsen, the owner took responsibly for all the work including those of his sub contractors.

The sub contractors used were all high quality and dependable. Their site supervision stayed on top of all aspects of the work and we are very pleased with the quality! Eric was very honest with us and didn't make things all about money. We were also very pleased with his back office staff. They were happy to help and with a positive attitude.
