L & L Flooring Company Solid wood flooring is 100% hardwood milled from lumber. As a natural material, hardwood reacts to changes in its setting, like moisture and extreme temperatures, which cause solid wood to shrink or expand. All solid hardwood can be sanded and refinished if needed over the years. Solid hardwood is not recommended for installation below ground level or in bathrooms due to opportunities to be susceptible to moisture.

Engineered wood flooring is built up of layers of wood. It consists of three to ten layers, called plies, that are glued together. This multi-ply structure gives engineered wood superior stability, greater than solid wood, which reduces concerns associated with shrinking and expanding when temperature and humidity change.

Not responsive! We bought flooring that has bucled so bad that it is breaking the moulding around the base boards. There are no less than 6 places in the house that are trip hazards. We have emailed, we have called and no response. We just want the quality we were promised.

I've found a company for all my future flooring needs. L&L recently installed some carpet for me upstairs. The location and shape of one of the rooms presented some unique challenges. The entire experience, from picking out the carpet to installation was wonderful. The crew they sent out for installation was friendly, courteous, professional and skilled. I highly recommend this company.

I have been working with L and L for the past 3 years and the their team has great communication and quality of work. I highly recommend L and L for all commercial and residential needs. They are flexible and can pivot on a dime if a job calls for a different tile or flooring due to supply chain issues. I enjoy working with Matthew, Jeremy and Jeremy and would recommend them to anyone looking for tile and flooring needs.

Someone from L&L came out for an estimate - they were 1/4 estimates we were gathering - and she expressed concern over where to put a transition piece and what was under the broken floor we needed repair. No one else expressed such concern. Ultimately they took several days to get back to me and say that they were passing on our project. Another competent company came out and fixed the floor/replaced the flooring with zero problems or concerns, and it looks great.

Kind of weird to me for a company to say "we do flooring. oh but we're passing on yours because we can't figure out how to do it" Strikes me as not very competent and I wouldn't be confident in their services.

Simply amazing. These guys did an amazing job on our laminate floor installation. Our floor was uneven and they fixed it. We have long sight lines through our house and they have the floors consistent all the way throughout. We get so many compliments on our floors and I Know that nothing would have been as nice with another installer. The attention to detail was next level. Really grateful that we found these guys.

I bet all the 5 star reviews are from less than a month of install. We were very clear about water proofing and this is the material they suggested. We almost had it installed in our bathrooms, thank God we did not. Make sure you research the product they recommend for yourselves, lesson learned. Ripping all this out and replacing, save yourself some money and use a company that is knowledgeable on the products they sell.

My security company drilled a hole through a water drain line causing damage to wood floors. Sales representative Susan came over and provided a quote. Price was less than other companies and the end product came out amazing! Susan was also very responsive to any concerns I had through the process while dealing with security company. If you are in the market for new or refurbished floors I highly recommend this company!

We had a wonderful experience with L & L Flooring from beginning to end. Susan was extremely helpful as we narrowed down options and chose the best options for our needs. Scheduling the install was a breeze and the installers were very professional and did a fantastic job. They did an amazing job with the various thresholds, including two access points to our attic. I highly recommend L&L and will plan on using them for any future flooring needs!

Can't say enough about L and L! We've had floors redone in many houses-L and L was by far the best. From the initial sales team that listened and helped us make the best choice for our whole house refloor plan to the installers who work efficiently and precisely, we are grateful for their work. Our floors were uneven in many places but they evened them out and gave us a fantastic floor!

They even went way above and beyond to get the bathroom flooring and toliet just right-the top guys coming back to the house at no cost. These guys know their products, and are skilled with their labor. Definitely trust them with your flooring project!

I wish I could put a ZERO. My carpeting in the busiest part of my home was put in incorrectly with seams pointing perpendicular to doorways (Kitchen & Master Bathroom). The carpet is fraying already due to this MISTAKE of installation. The contractor who hired this company sent me the Carpet & Rug Institute Standard Installation of Residential Carpet Guide.

I then reviewed the guide and found that Section 5.1, page 11 states EXACTLY my complaint. I have been trying to get restitution from the contractor and this vendor with NO RESPONSE. It is not my norm to write complaints - but I was left with NO other choice. Addendum October 2020: I was NEVER contacted by this company after SEVERAL times contacting Paul Davis Restoration NASHVILLE who hired them to install my carpet.

I do however notice that they praise those HERE who give them a good review (the LUCKY one's). But L&L did and does NOTHING to make sure that I AM SATISFIED. Don't you think NICK that you should have come here and looked at what your employees did NOT do properly? YOU NEVER DID!

After getting multiple flooring quotes from local companies, I am thrilled I went with L&L! I wanted my bedrooms carpeting replaced with the same hardwood throughout the rest of my home. They were able to find the exact match. John Chandler was my sales rep and he truly know customer service. He was always willing to help, extremely knowledgeable and responding to every message and call I placed to him.

I truly felt valued as a customer. If you are lucky enough to have Junior as your installation manager, you won't be disappointed! He was a pleasure and went above and beyond my expectations. The process was completed in one day and it was perfect! Couldn't recommend them higher!

We just bought our new home and decided to get all hardwoods sanded and stained. The guys from L&L Came in and WOW! So professional so neat so attentive to detail. my floors are gorgeous I love my house even more now! I will recommend them over and over again. Susan was great she came out measured and emailed me a very reasonable quote considering the amount of space needed to be done (whole house). But this was an overall great experience! Thank you guys!

I have nothing but great things to say about my experience with L&L, largely due to the responsiveness and kindness of their customer rep Greg whom we worked with from start to finish. We had 2 rooms furnished with hardwood, and Greg went above and beyond in helping us pick out good and affordable wood options, even going as far as bringing by and picking up samples because he happened to live close to our neighborhood.

He helped us feel comfortable in going with L&L and was communicative throughout the process. The actual installation went great as well. It was a father and son team, both who were very kind and efficient. The entire installation took less than 2 days.

Had a good experience with L&L. We had almost the whole house done with wood, tile in a few areas, and carpet in a few areas. I didn't feel pressured with sales, felt their prices were competitive, they made accommodations when the wood we chose was discontinued, and the installer took care to make sure the job was done correctly. The floors turned out great and I appreciate the quality of work. I would definitely use L&L again and recommend them to others.

We had a great experience with L&L flooring. It was so fast and easy. Jeremy Richardson made the whole process effortless. He showed us multiple floors and textures and thoroughly walked us through the differences. Once we picked what we wanted he ordered and it was installed the day after the flooring came in. Flooring was out in fast and efficient. There was an accidental scratch left from the dryer, and they fixed it immediately. Loved the whole experience! Would 10/10 use them again!

We had gone to several different flooring stores but couldn't find what we were looking for. We ended up at L&L and they were SO helpful. Our salesperson, Jon, was more than patient with me! After looking at different s as moles he pulled out one that looked like wood. It was lvt! We ended up going with the last sample he had pulled. Boy am I glad!

The team that came to install, headed by Ismael, were very professional! They worked hard & diligently to make everything perfect! From start to finish, the whole experience was painless & wonderful! I definitely would recommend using L&L Flooring!

These great people did an EXCELLENT job for my Mother-in-law water damage repair and they just finished another EXCELLENT job in Del Webb, Mt Juliet! Carpet, flooring, and tile looks real good! Very happy to do business with John, Jeremy, Greg, tha GIRLS at the showroom, and especially the hard working techs they had do the job. I believe the costs were very good, and HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! Thanks L&L!

Disaster! Communication, scheduling and installation. I'd give all less than a 1 star but 1 is the lowest they will let me review. The first time they were scheduled to install no one showed. The second time they brought the wrong kitchen tile and we had to call them off due to an issue we had with sub flooring. When they came back they didn't bring enough tile and when more tile showed they installed with no expansion gaps left between tile and walls.

Four or five tiles in a row were installed with a chipped corner. They left 4ish bags of trash at the house for me to take care of. The icing on the cake was they used the wrong color grout! We had chosen one similar to charcoal and pearl gray was installed. Granted after the fact they offered to scrape the old grout and were willing to regrout and fix the broken tiles, we opted out and told them to just cut the tile and grout around the edge of the rooms to leave room for wall expansion and contraction.

The last thing we wanted them to do was tear more tile up. Very very disappointing considering the price and professionalism they claim. ** we also left this review on their website but it was deleted

We had needed new floors for quite some time. We chose L & L and are very happy with our decision. From the initial call to the completion of our project, the folks at L&L have been amazing. We had consulted with another company in town, but that became a pain in the ass. Not so with these guys. Nothing but good things to say about the entire process.

We had our whole home re-floored and carpeted. Took about 2 and a half days. The floors look amazing. Jeremy, our rep, was very helpful in providing information and options in terms of what we wanted. Everything was on budget. I could go on, but I'm lazy. Great work, great people, great experience.

I just had the carpet replaced in 3 bedrooms and a large bonus room by L & L and could not be happier! The carpet looks great - they came in with a great price (exact same carpet quoted by 2 other companies for much higher) and their installers worked quick and very, very respectful of my home. I really made the great choice by going with L & L - I highly recommend them!

Had a great experience with John and L&L flooring. They gave a better price than the competition, and did a great quality job installing hard wood all over the house. They were clear, communicative, skilled, and pleasant to work with from start to finish. Will be recommending them from now on for floor installation and inventory.

Fully recommend. Ray gave an on-site consultation and provided an estimate promptly. Throughout the entire process, he was responsive and kept me updated. I talked through the timeline with Ray/L&L, and they kept the timeline perfectly. So happy with how my LVF/red oak floor refinishing went. Also ended up having to get some subfloor replaced due to past water damage, and I can't even see where the old oak ends and new oak begins. Awesome experience. Pro tip - if you have toilets/vanity in the area being worked, remove/reinstall yourself. L&L was super open to me doing that work myself, and I saved some money along the way.

Someone had come measure for an estimate. When he called asking what colors I wanted, I specifically told him the model # from L&L website that I was interested in. It was the perfect color and style. He said he would bring out the sample. Nope, brought other colors but not that one. Did the estimate and said I would receive it Monday (it was Thursday). 12 days later I am still waiting for the estimate!

Thanks for wasting my time and having me take 2 hours off work for someone to come do an estimate for NOTHING! Even if I would hear back, I'll delete the email. Nearly 2 weeks and not getting back to a customer is NOT how you do business!

I had my floors done in June by L&L. I decided to go with L & L because of their positive reviews. I'm originally from CA and when I lived there relied on Yelp for home improvement recommendations. L & L has high reviews, which I'm confused by. I asked a couple of my southern friends about this and they explained that southerners really don't like complaining and if they're unhappy with something they're more likely to keep it to themselves, so maybe that explains the lack of negative or mediocre reviews.

I bought a town home in Nashville at the end of May. Before having the flooring done, I had the entire house painted. A couple days after the painting was finished, L & L installed new carpet on the stairs, two upstairs bedrooms, and landing upstairs. They also installed a laminate in the living room/kitchen/dining area (they're all connected), the laundry room and three bathrooms.

My townhome is about 1,300 square feet and the cost was over $10,000. By no means inexpensive. The installation took about 3 days (I gave them a key to my house since I work full time) I only had a few furniture pieces in the house at the time as I had not moved in yet. All seemed well until I got into the house on the last day after the installers had left.

When I first got to the house, the first thing I noticed was the mess left in my garage. I had told L & L that I didn't want to keep all the extra carpet and they had also told me that they would get rid of some old paint cans that the previous owners had left in the house, as I was paying the extra fee they charge because for having to move furniture/appliances in the house. Well, they just moved the paint cans to the garage and left all the extra carpet.

The carpet itself was covered in small carpet bits. I know from having carpet installed in my house in California previously, but this was excessive. I honestly couldn't even tell if the carpet looked good, because it was such a mess. I also had to go through and cut of excess bits of carpet that were sticking out literally everywhere, especially on the stairs.

I then noticed that my stair railing had huge black marks all over it and was scratched everywhere (it's a wood railing that the painter had just repainted white). The next thing I noticed was that my base boards were basically demolished. I understand that base boards will inevitably get some scratches and scuffs, but I am not exaggerating when I say my base boards were ruined.

Keep in mind I had just had the entire house painted. On one of my bathtubs, there was a huge dent in the side, they'd obviously banged it when installing the laminate. The following day when I went back to the house, I started noticing more things. There was a huge black scuff mark on one part of the ceiling in the living room area, obviously the installers had scratched it when picking something up.

My refrigerator was left unplugged, and my back door was left unlocked (I don't have a backyard, so basically anyone could have walked right in). When I started to sweep the laminate floors in the kitchen, I noticed that I kept hitting the bottom of my foot on something sharp. So, on 4 of the laminate boards in the kitchen, there were small circular holes (one in each board) with some sort of material sticking up out of them.

It looks like something the installers were supposed to cut down, but they didn't. I had to get an exacto knife and cut these pieces down because it hurt to walk over them in bare feet or socks. Those small spots where I cut the material down do not look great. I notice them sometimes and think there's something on the wood, but then I remember what they are.

After the floors were installed I had a handyman come to my house who was recommended by a friend (He has been featured on Houzz's website for his work and is fully licensed. He does flooring, plumbing, painting, literally everything under the sun. I originally wanted him to do my floors, but he is so busy that he wasn't going to have the time to fit me in for awhile) to get a quote to install new toilets and vanities in my bathrooms.

He noticed the stair railing the minute he walked in the door. Since he does carpentry he pointed out that some of the spindles on the railings were put back in the wrong places and had nails sticking out of them. I've since had him fix the railing (he had to sand the whole thing and repaint it, and fix the spindles). It's now October, and one of the laminate boards in my kitchen is coming up (YES, coming up after only a few months). I'm going to have my handyman fix it because I honestly don't trust L & L to do it. I'll note that after the installation, I complained.

They owners offered a weak apology, it was only after I pushed it, that they credited me about $600 back, a drop in the bucket and again they did not offer this on their own.

I went to other flooring places but did not find the level of service I was looking for until I spoke with L&L's Nick Johnson. They did a beautiful job while I vacated the premises to avoid living through the mess. They even finished earlier than I anticipated. Yes, there was some dust raised but nothing we couldn't clean up ourselves. They were quite accommodating when I asked them to return to do a bit of touch-up afterward. Highly recommend!

L & L Flooring installed carpeting in three bedrooms in our house. We were very pleased with the installation. Their pricing was fair and they included replacement of a broken bathroom tile at no additional cost. The installers were on time, friendly and efficient. They were careful in moving our furniture and finished ahead of schedule. They hauled everything away and cleaned up all trash. We recommend L & L Flooring to anyone needing new flooring. We just had new floors installed in our master bedroom and bathroom. The work to lay the tile that was previously in our bathroom was done poorly and the guys at L&L had their work cut out for them! But they did an amazing job reaping and replacing the tile and the carpet in our bedroom and we are in love with our new floors! The workers stayed out of our way and didn't ask for anything!

Just be prepared to clean up a bit after them (they didn't leave a huge mess, just a bit of vacuuming and dusting needed). They did however take out a couple of the lights in our driveway with their truck, so we were a bit disappointed about that. But overall, they did an amazing job and got it done in one day! We will definitely be using them again when we replace the tile in our kitchen!

Short Version: Don't bother with Home Depot and use these guys. Incredible to work with from start to finish. We had originally planned on using Home Depot to put in laminate flooring in our 1300 sq ft condo. Home Depot came out, ripped up the carpet, and essentially walked off the job after they saw some humps in our subfloor. On top of that, they suggested to us that we should contact a structural engineer to review the subfloor because there could be serious issues. I'm not expert, so I took their word on it.after a few days, I figured I'd call L&L and have them come out and see what they think.

From the first phone call, Nick and his team were incredible to work with. He came out and assured me that the humps in the subfloor could be fixed with self-leveler, and their quote came within the original Home Depot price range. There is ZERO reason why anyone should use Home Depot for renovation projects, and I won't make that mistake again. Their team did an incredible job from start to finish. The floors look great, and they even went back and fixed parts that weren't initially installed correctly.

These guys are the best in the biz. Fantastic work. Great customer service. Fast. The tiling job in my kitchen gets the most complements out of all the work I've done. Super pleased. I will use Matt for every flooring need I have forever.

Overall these guys were great. My floors look really nice and they were fast and accommodating with my schedule. My only complaints were that the trim they put in didn't match the room, and it wasn't installed very well. Additionally they left some scrap materials in my driveway which were somewhat of a pain to clean up. That being said, both of those things could be avoided with clear communication. I would definitely recommend these guys for a job. Friendly, fast, great prices, solid work.

These guys offered just what we were looking for! They came over, showed us some great options to choose from, gave us a quote and explained their process. Our whole house is hardwood except one carpeted room, and now that it's also wood it's so much more seamless and feels so much nicer. These guys were very kind and professional and the results were top notch!

Had a custom shower done in our master bedroom. It was in our 1920's historic home off Wedgewood in Nashville. We turned the attic spaced into our master so our shower had a ton of hard angles and a strange but super cool layout. Nick Johnson did an amazing job! U would never know how uneven the walls were! Everything was absolutely perfect!
