We have been in contact with Scott since April 2021 to get a warranty request on our flooring done. He responds 50% of the time and has yet to commit to a time to get it done. We needed two things fixed, he had someone come by and fix one thing after 4 months of asking and now we are waiting on the second half of our request. He said yesterday if we want to schedule it we would have to pay for the repair but if we want it to be covered as a warranty claim he will just let us know when someone is in the area. So here we are month 5 of waiting. Very poor business skills. We are forced to give a one star review or else it would be zero stars.

We just bought new hardwood floors and carpet for our home. They had the best service I have ever had. I am not very good at matching colors to my home and they were so helpful. Before you buy a floor you stop by. Just wanted to add another review! When we moved into a new home and wanted to change the floors I knew exactly who to call. Scott had many options for us to choose from and helped us find exactly what we were looking for! Love our new flooring and can't wait to use them again for our next project!

Scott/Kalia came highly recommended from our really good friend who is in real estate. Kalia flooring (Scott) was amazing, super helpful and honest when we first talked. Meeting him and picking out flooring options was easy and nice. The initial bid came in and we were very excited about the prices. THEN things started going bad, we knew there was going to be extra work involved in our remodel (second sub floor, all new baseboards etc) and we requested a new quote including all that work.

No answer for 2 weeks. Texted and emailed and finally got an answer "oh, I'm sorry, you'll get that first thing in the morning and I'll call you" nothing for another week. Another text out to Scott and another answer "ill get that to you for sure", another 2 weeks goes by with nothing. Finally I told him "It doesn't seem like you want this job, if you can't do it or do want to do it just tell us so we stop wasting our time" he then text back immediately, promising to get us a quote. that was the last I heard from him and no quote ever came.

He basically got our hopes up, then strung us along for 2 months and ghosted us. Everything started out so perfect and promising but fell apart very quickly. If you don't have a super nice/expensive home and aren't dropping at least 15k plus, Scott won't be interested and won't treat you like a customer and will leave you hanging. I HIGHLY recommend passing on Kalia and using another flooring company.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PLACE! Asked for a bid just over a week ago now and still have yet to hear back from Scott. When my husband and I picked out exactly what we wanted, and provided our floor plan so they would have exact measurements, to give us a bid, I never got a response from Scott. I have called three times now, and have gotten blown off each time.

If you care about responsiveness and care about good customer service then DO NOT USE KALIA. Save your time and go somewhere else because it is doubtful this business (Scott) will ever get back to you. If my husband and I would have chosen high end options like hard wood and marble counters, maybe we would have been considered a real customer.

Scott was amazing, we had closed on our home and when we had the carpet cleaned, we found they were covered with dog urine and previous owner would not help cover the costs. Our Realator Jim Barber recommended Kalia Flooring to us. We ended up replacing all of the carpet in our home. Not only did Scott help by rush ordering the carpet, he sold us a heavy duty pad at his cost and put us at the top of the installation list. Scott went above and beyond what any other company would do. Because of this kind of service, we had him carpet our home we sold. Thanks Scott! We will be back.

I have had a frustrating experience with Kalia flooring, to say the least. First, my initial shipment of flooring came one week after the promised date. It wasn't quite enough to finish the job, so now, all I've needed for SIX WEEKS was one box (or 4 boards) so I can finish my bathroom & closet. I've called and texted Scott 3-5x per week- not enough to register as annoying or a stalker, but enough to inquire about the shipment status of my flooring. Most of the time, my calls are unanswered and go to voicemail (which I leave a polite one). I am beyond exasperated and at a loss at this point! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

I ordered and purchased Merci red oak wood from you back on April 13, 2019. I haven’t heard anything from you. Would you please let me know if my order has come in?

If you want to be price gouged, call Scott! If you want to wait days and days trying to get ahold of your bid, call Scott! If you want to have complete uncertainty when you project will start and finish, call Scott! If you want someone to sell you floors and take no accountability when the contractor messes up, call Scott. If you want to leave staples and nails in your almost 100 year old oak floor to just have them sanded over, call Scott.

If you want refinish dust throughout your ENTIRE home, call Scott. Just an FYI he won't answer his phone the first time you call, so make sure you specify if you are calling from a million dollar mansion or not. That seems to get the job done! But honestly you will probably get the same terrible quality. Oh, and one more thing. we spent thousands on new floors.

I asked for some kind of floor protection between the door and the stairs to protect it from movers and other rennovation. "I can work out the numbers for that, but I wouldn't worry about it in a house like this" -Scott Heath from Kalia

Our experience was great! We had quick install and price was what we were quoted! They got back to us on times for install and how long it would take. The installers do great work and are fast! Most importantly we LOVE our floor! We had tile installed around the perimeter of the room and carpet in the center and all great quality and looks amazing! We recommend them to anybody and everybody! Thanks Kalia and Scott for the great service to complete our new room!

If I could rate this business lower than one star, I would. The beginning: July 2014. I was in the market for about 200 square feet of laminate flooring. I stumbled upon Kalia and they had exactly what I was looking for.

Was quoted and had in writing a very reasonable, somewhat cheap price for carpet and was told that it was valid for two weeks. When I went to buy the carpet and schedule a install date I was given a price that was almost double what they had quoted me.

We've had our gorgeous hardwood floors for about 6 months now, and we LOVE them! Kalia had great pricing, was easy to work with, kept us posted on the delivery time of our flooring as well as the installation, and their crew was extremely professional.

I would consider us to be fairly picky.we've been remodeling our whole house and have done our research on everything we've chosen. We get so many compliments on our espresso, hand-scraped, birch floors.beautiful! I would recommend them to anyone!

Kalia Flooring did a great job with the carpet and tile in my basement. Jim Barber was awesome to work with. His tile work is the best there is. I will use their services the rest of my life.
