The lady who answered the phone is rude and unhelpful. I called asking about service, and she basically said: "I don't have anyone who can help you." No attempt to offer to schedule for a future date. Unbelievably poor customer service. Would fire her immediately. That's not how you should be answering phone calls in a service-based industry.

The lady who attended to me was very patient, professional, and polite. The price was very reasonable; and she allowed me in although it was close to closing time. She also spent close to an hour trying to assist me. I have NO COMPLAINTS OR ANYTHING NEGATIVE to say about this business. I will highly recommend them and definitely plan to return.

Recently I bought a used car from a online car sale service and needed one of the key FOBs programmed. They programmed the key in less than 10 minutes and the price was extremely reasonable. I tried to pay them more but they wouldn't accept it. Businesses like this are rare and should be supported so I will do my part and try to send more their way. I highly recommend.

Just pointing out. that a business would be ignorant to not answer the phone. There is not just only one possible type of phone call. or need from the people who would call a business. NOTE: This is not a review. NOTE2: This was referring to another review you had. Read.

J & S Locksmith is the best! Todd came by and re-keyed all eight locks on my house. He also installed a new knob on one of the doors. He worked quickly and provided excellent, friendly service. I would definitely use J & S again in the future. I highly recommend them!

Much appreciation to these guys! Super service, friendly and did a great job making a spare key and transferring my old fob piece to a new one all at a great price. Will refer and recommend anyone with a key situation to these pros.

Great prices. Half what other places will charge me for a copy of a transponder chip car key. Plus they gave me a code to use if for any reason I lost my key and another non-transponder spare key for free. Highly recommend this place. Thanks

I had a key fob programed here. Successful! The old man is a little brash (he doesn't mean any harm), but he is just trying to warn you that often there is only a 30% success rate for key fobs purchased online. (they are running a business and can charge for the attempt to program).

I was in, waited maybe 45 minutes, and got an extra car key. And they threw in a mechanical in case I locked my keys inside. Paid $47 for it. Compared to the horror stories I hear about other locksmiths and dealerships charging out the ass for cutting the key and labor for programming it, charging anywhere from $150 to $1000 for the car's computer, it's safe to say I've come out way, WAY ahead. It's a small shop on Yadkin right by the gate onto post.

And it's obvious they have a lot of ways to satisfy your locks and keys needs. Hotel key card slots, gun safes and wall vaults, even those locks I've seen in the barracks and on secure TOC doors. This place is affordable and they know what they're doing. Get a quote somewhere, then come here. I highly doubt you'll regret it.

For whatever reason, it was a pain to even find a brick-and-mortar locksmith shop in the area using Google. They were all a cluster of websites and phone numbers but no building. This place, my friends, is REAL. Came here with a rather seemingly difficult task. I wanted a duplicate key made for a Prius that uses those overly complicated SKS Key fobs.

It also includes those odd key blades that can't be milled since they don't utilize the edge like your typical key. I believe VWs, Audis, etc. also use that type of key blade. I also needed someone that was able to program the SKS key fob, which for a while, I thought the dealership was the only place capable at doing it. After doing some research, I decided to buy an OEM blank with an uncut key blade.

This place was able to cut the key AND do some wizardry to program the fob! It took the locksmith a little while since the fob was being difficult. She actually had to essentially zero the car's key program and keys and refill it (I am just kinda trying to remember the true terminology she used, I am not the professional). The total task? $40 for everything.

The dealership would charge $95 for the key blade to get cut. They would tell me it had to get sent to California since it was "laser cut" in a state of the art BS. To program it? $150 and was told if it didn't work, I would still get charged. I can imagine that they would stop after the first try that my locksmith did, then stop and just charge me anyway.
