Generally speaking, we do recommend replacing your furnace or air conditioner if it is more than 15 years old. Other considerations are: Does it have a pilot light rather than electronic ignition? Does it not have vent dampers or a draft fan? Is it a coal burning unit that has been converted to gas or oil?

There's nothing ICS can't do to make your home/business more comfortable. Knowledgeable staff, top notch equipment, happy customer. Go see Rick!

I called this company to service my furnace and disconnect my heat pump and reconnect after we relocated it. We were never given a proposal or estimate, so since this was an emergency, and they knew it was, we had them do the disconnect. In all, the total time on the job including the return and service the furnace was 4 hours. We were then given a bill of 3500 dollars plus tax.

For 4 hours work! They said this was overhead and profit. I now am getting a lawyer and settling this after they refused a 1500 settlement. Which is more then fair. I would never recommend these preditors to anyone! You all have been warned!

This company installed an old system in my new home 2 years ago and it has not worked properly. I thought they were installing a new system which I paid for. I have requested many times that they come and fix the system. The last time I called was the week before Thanksgiving, they told me I was on the waiting list. No one has called me back and they system is still broke. I would NEVER recommend this company and I am looking into legal action against them.

The receptionist was very helpful and I was impressed to hear how they try to prefab as much of their ducting as possible.

I have used ICS a number of times over the past several years, at my personal home as well as our rental. I have never had a single issue, they have always been timely, reasonably priced and seem to actually care about their customers. Its very unfortunate they get poor reviews from people that are upset with their contractors and are not actual customers of ICS.

I had nothing short of a great experience with this company and have referred them to family and friends. It's typical that people bash companies when they don't get their way which is unfortunate because that ruins reputations in which not all I for given is reliable. I've never had any issues with staff or equipment. They have always come out to service my home in a timely fashion and have always been kind.

Family and friends have thanked me for the referral and are also happy with their units in their homes. I would refer them a million times over! Thank you INDOOR COMFORT SYSTEMS!

When I purchased my house in 2016 the contractors that I bought my house with installed a new furnace with this company. 2 years later, the chimney that is exposed in my house (it used to look really pretty) is softening and the grout in between the bricks is melting away and crumbling, paint is dripping down the chimney, and there is damage around the chimney in the walls and floor.

The chimney repair company informed me that it was because no ventilation kit was installed in the chimney so it's creating steam and condensation in the chimney which is creating all of the damage. To repair my chimney damage and install the ventilation kit I'm looking at around $4000. When I called to talk to them about it, they just told me they did what the contractors asked and that was what they were paid for and they are not responsible. They were not paid to install a ventilation kit. So, check to see who your contractor is hiring and if it's this company. BEWARE!

Have had great service with this company. The dirtball on here complaining about ICS not providing warranty work is very likely because he did not pay his contractor who refused to warranty through subs until he was paid. That's very typical in new construction. Can't NOT pay your bills and then still demand service. Hope they hit him for libel.

These guys installed the entire heating/air conditioning system in a new home of mine in 2008. They plugged the condensate pump into an outlet without checking to see if it was live, which might be a good idea on a brand new home that isn't even finished. And, there were other live outlets they could have plugged it into. Since the outlet was not hot, the pump did not come on and the condensation spilled over and ruined the entire laminate floor.

Total disaster! Did they take any responsibility? No. Unfortunately I used them again on another home a few years layer. new elect. furnace and heat pump. I dont think the refrigerant was ever fully charged properly. As im selling the home, I am required to have it serviced. I found someone local who could take care of the job right away for less than ICS, and they discovered the problem. (Maybe that's why the monthly heating bill never went down.?) I understand there is no warranty at this point, but they won't even help me with it.

So much for "taking care if your customer". I'll never make the mistake of using them again, and I have several homes coming up. As a GC, I could never treat my customers this way! Doesn't matter if it was 5 years later, I'd still make myself available to try and help. These people clearly don't care about you after they get their money. Sad.

My contractor used ICS as a sub while building my house. Less than a month after I moved in my heat pump stopped working so I called ICS for warranty support. At that time I was told the following: 1) They would not do warranty service because the contractor had not paid the bill to them. 2) Even though I am the home owner they would give me zero information regarding the balance owed because I am not who they contracted with. 3) They refused to accept payment from anyone except for directly from the contractor 4) They refused to take me on as a time and materials client because they only work for contractors directly.

In the meantime. I am stuck with a furnace that doesn't work. A diagnostic bill from another company to identify the actual issue. And a hefty repair bill to fix the issue which in the opinion of the new company was caused by multiple installation issues to begin with. It is safe to say that I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT recommend this company AND if you find that your builder is using them as a sub contractor you should make every attempt to force a change in that department unless you don't care about having a serviceable warranty on your HVAC.

It would appear that all of the other reviews on this company carry water and that this company cares about one thing. And that one thing is not angering the contractors that feed them work regardless of how it affects the end user. BUYER BEWARE HERE

Failure to install a condensation line with our new furnace lead to water dripping through the whole unit and flooded our guest bedroom. Indoor Comfort Systems couldn't get someone out under warranty for 5 days and suggested we call a difference company and pay out of pocket if it was urgent. In the meantime, we spent close to $1000 having the Serv Pro folks dry out our subfloors and sheetrock.

In addition, we had to replace the carpet and padding in that room and our hallway. When the system was fixed it looked entirely different with a significant amount of piping in front. The installation had clearly not been installed properly. My husband and I tried to contact the owner multiple times over the last few months to discuss the mistake.

We have never received a call back. The price of our new unit was reasonable but we're left with a huge bill in repairs for improper installation and the worry that the unit will fail early due to water damage. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO ELSEWHERE!
