Shaun was very helpful in the window repair process. The in home assessment and estimate was really helpful, he brought the actual product into our home so we could see how it fits in with existing windows. We did opt in for financing through HomeCraft and the process was very simple and took under 5 minutes. Would highly recommend this business if you are looking to replace or repair existing windows.

Is was super easy to select and design exactly the door we needed. Shawn was fantastic and showed us options we had not thought of, which worked out better that the design we had in mind before he came.

HomeCraft came out this evening for a demonstration of their product. My husband and I were very pleased and purchased. The salesman Shaun was very professional and knowledgeable. He also shared a little about the bathroom products. We will most definitely be requesting his services again. Thank you Shaun for job well done!

Shaun came over with his demonstration window, and gave us me and my mom great information about our current windows and the windows they provide at HomeCraft Windows. We got a great deal and are looking forward to getting them installed! Glad they are a local business, and have great warranties, that are transferrable also!

We had Homecraft windows come out and replace 4 rather large windows in our home. I'll say, the supply chain issue took a LONG time. I wasn't home for the install but my wife said she was impressed with their knowledge and professionalism. The windows look great and we will probably order more to complete the project as soon as we can. Thanks!

Tony and his crew were fabulous, just the best. Friendly, thorough and explained in full detail and via demonstration everything we needed to know about the windows construction, maintenance and warranty. I'll recommend HomeCraft Windows only to anyone asking me who'd I recommend and why!

This is an addition to my original review from one month ago, based on the response you left. You say you've "searched and searched your entire database" to find a customer under the name of Andie. DO YOU SERIOUSLY HAVE THAT MANY UNSATISFIED CUSTOMERS WHO ARE STILL WAITING FOR THEIR PROJECT TO BE COMPLETED AFTER ONE YEAR THAT YOU CAN'T NARROW IT DOWN AND FIGURE IT OUT ON YOUR OWN?!?

I wasn't trying to be mysterious about my review. I provided my email when I left it and Andie is my Google 'nickname' and that's what Google used when I submitted the review. The last name on the account is ANDREWS. Look it up. And, by the way, we just passed the 53 WEEK mark this past Saturday. OVER ONE YEAR since we signed the contract. Absolutely ridiculous. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our experience with HomeCraft Windows (and 'Luxury' Bath of Raleigh) has been a time-consuming, frustrating nightmare.

They came on 8/27/21 to install two windows as part of our bathroom remodel with 'Luxury' Bath of Raleigh. They arrived with different windows than the ones we ordered as well as different hardware for them than what we ordered and no screens. We accepted the windows we received in order to keep our remodel project moving forward (we had already waited over six months for the project to begin after signing the contract in February due to COVID, manufacturing delays and shipping delays).

The windows were installed that day; however the trim installation/painting were not completed until OCTOBER 8TH. We're still waiting on screens for the two windows -- our FOURTH set of screens have been reordered. Each set we've received looked like something you could buy from the Dollar Store. The owner of HomeCraft Windows and 'Luxury' Bath of Raleigh has not reached out to us once or responded to the two detailed emails we've sent him regarding the multitude of issues we've had and asking to hear from HIM.

He forwards the emails to the project manager to handle. If OUR experience is how they treat customers that have experienced multiple issues and delays due to THEIR mistakes, I would highly discourage others from using this company. Tomorrow marks 48 WEEKS since we signed our contract with 'Luxury' Bath of Raleigh and we STILL have outstanding issues. At this point, we're just hopeful they can wrap it all up under the one-year mark.

Where do I start everyone was professional and very helpful. Every time I called the office with and concerns or questions they was always able to assist. Even the gentleman that came and installed my windows was very respectful even brought their own vacuum to clean up after themselves. I will be using them for other home projects in the future.

We hired HomeCraft to install 3 windows and an entry door in our Chapel Hill condo. Upon arrival of the doors and windows, I realized we had rot around all three windows so we delayed the window install until structual repairs could be made. Tony and his crew did install the entry door. After tearing out the existing door we realized there was foundation settlement on one side of the door opening. Tony had extensive experience in residential framing and knew exactly how to make the needed adjustments.

The door was beautifully installed with a consistent reveal between the door and frame. Tonys crew was polite and kept the jobsite clean at all times. I highly recommend HomeCraft for your door and window needs. I will update the review once the windows are installed.

I give them two stars only because the windows are better than what I had before (they were 25 years old). The majority of my issue is with their warranty and customer service. Bottom line up front - once they leave your house (if you get that far), don't expect them to honor their warranty. I have a year in one of the screens that they warranty.

It happened during installation. I just didn't see it because it was small at the time. I contacted the sales rep, Chris (who is a really nice guy) in January of this year. He assured me they would replace the screen soon. Well, it is now May and I have no screen and multiple excuses as to why they haven't taken care of it. One associate said it was because of covid - to which I asked if they had not received any window shipments in four months (they could have put my screen in one of those shipments, right?).

I seriously doubt covid has anything to do with my screen not being replaced. You have to stop using covid as an excuse. It's insulting My next step is to go to the BBB and then corporate. The tricky part of this review is buying windows is an epic pain and all of the salesmen come off worse than used car salesmen. That said, I still wouldn't recommend using them for any project because they are not trustworthy

We had a great experience! Our initial estimate was easy, well-explained and didn't feel salesey, and the follow up between the estimate and installation was frequent. The installation itself was so much better than we expected. The installers were quick but thorough, and left our house cleaner than they found it. Seriously - they swept off our porch and vacuumed our living room when it was all done! We don't have enough good things to say about this company, and we love our new windows!

Very dishonored and rude people! We had a young sales representative came to our home. He was very nice and did measurements on all the windows and demonstrated different lines of product and explained in details of services, spending almost two hours. At the end we decided replacing ten of our windows and signed the contract and cut the check for half of the amount as deposit.

I received the contract through the email and noticed four of the windows missing the specified color. I called back to their office right away and was told sales representative will call me back. Second day it was different sales representative who sounds more senior. To my surprise, instead of addressing the contract he told me that their system has some technical issues and they have to bump up $247 on each window for all 10 windows, and he wanted schedule another 90 minutes time with me to go through the contract.

I told him I didn't want to spend another 90 minutes just going through the price increase and I simply wanted to straight out the contract both sides signed and agree to. He said they won't do the job as quoted. I asked him if they would want to honor their contract and he became very rude saying they don't want to business with me and don't want listen a word from me and then hung up on me. First time seen people doing business like this!

I had a great experience with this company. I absolutely love the windows they installed at my house and some of the safety features of the windows are my most favorite things. Imagine being able to leave your windows opened all night without having to worry about somebody being able to raise them enough to enter your house. They installed a beautiful french door off my living room and I'm thoroughly pleased about that.

I love my sliding kitchen window that I can now open without having to use a step stool (I'm a little short). One last thing I love about my windows is that I chose the pane-less windows and I love the open look that they give. They looked so beautiful from the outside that I decided not to put my old shutters back on to give my house a more modern appearance.

We were very selective about replacement windows for our mid-century home. After reviewing several products / companies we selected HomeCraft to install a full replacement package ( 21 windows ). My wife and I were very pleased with the entire process from the experience with the sales representative ( Chris ) through the performance of the installation team ( Tony, Frank, and Alan ) we were provided several options and an exceptionally high quality installation.

Equally important, all HomeCraft staff were respectful, professional, and extremely efficient / proficient. It is amazing how these windows have improved the appearance, acoustics, and energy-efficiency of our home.

I did not have a positive experience with this company at all. We are in the market for a new front door. One week ago we spent 90 minutes with the sales representative. After choosing a door and getting the estimate we said this was our first look but would like to keep the information to consider. The sales representative said he would email it right away.

A couple of days went by and no email. I called the office number thinking there may be an email problem and left a message. The next day the office called to check on our visit and I explained that I did not get any information on the door we picked out. The caller said she would get right back to us. A representative did call back that day but I could not take the call.

He said that he would be there until 5 and give him a call back or he would call me the next day. I did call back before 5 and left a message with an office person that I was returning their call. She would pass on the message and still no phone call or email from the company. Not the way to make a good impression and gain my trust.

I'd give a zero if possible. They sent someone to my house to give me an estimate. he IMMEDIATELY went to the high pressure sales tactics, wanting to know who else had come out, what their estimates were, etc. Then he gave me the 'If I give you a price you like, will you sign today' line. As soon as I told him I had other people coming, and would not be making a decision until I had ALL estimates, his attitude shifted into complete jackass mode.

When he finally gave me an estimate, it was a few numbers, scribbled on a yellow legal pad. I would not have cared if they were the lowest estimate I got (they were actually MUCH higher than every estimate), I would not have done business with them.

During Florence the windows that Homecraft installed started to leak. These windows have only been installed for 6 months. I contacted the company and they gave me this sorry email. So you want me to let you come back out and make the weep holes bigger hoping that the windows will not leak? What kind of company is this? You cannot warranty "bad weather"?

Double Lifetime warranty means Double lifetime warranty no matter what kind of weather. And yes you need to pay for the carpet cleaning as well. From: Darin Oakley [mailto:darrin@luxurybathral.com] Sent: Tuesday, October 02, 2018 2:13 PM To: Subject: windows Good afternoon, The manufacturer said that there are weep holes for the water to drain out at the bottom of the windows where the trim is on the bottom of the windows.

The problem with the water is that it wasn't draining fast enough for the rain to slowly weep out as designed to do on normal rain fall. The only thing that could possibly be done is the weep holes be drilled out a little larger than what is on it. Again, under normal circumstances, they did what they were designed to do on the other windows.

There isn't a whole lot to do with the carpet except for drying out which should be done by now. All of the issues you have experienced was from the Hurricane down pour and winds which we can't warranty the bad weather. Please let me know about weep holes in the windows.

I tried to get a quote to replace one window. As we were scheduling the appointment for an in-home quote, the salesperson asked if I was married, then insisted on my husband being home for the quote. I explained that my husband was unavailable, and that I handled all home renovations and repairs. They insisted that "both decision-makers be present" while I explained that I was the decision-maker on this project.

They refused to come to my house to give me a quote when I repeated that my husband would not join us. They told me their policy may sound dated, but they would not budge on that requirement. Yes, that is indeed a dated policy. I later spoke with the manager, who did not deny this policy, and his resolution was to give me the quote over the phone. I will not be doing business with a company that refuses to work with me without my husband present.

I ordered replacement windows from this company, and the experience became a disaster. The salesman took the order around over two months ago, saying it would take about 4-5 weeks to get them installed. H measured the windows at the time of the order. Then it was over two weeks to re-measure the windows were late coming in. Finally, an installation date was set.

The installer couldn't come because he had to go to court. Another date was set. This time his vehicle broke down. When he came the windows did not fit. They were ordered again. Finally, the new windows arrived, and another delay came about. They did get in finally.

From the initial visit from Home craft to the day of install this was a great experience. Very competitive with other window replacement companies and very professional. I would definitely recommend Home Craft to anyone who is interested in replacing the windows in their home.

All round excellent, from first visit, to scheduling of fitting, and the team that came to fit Windows on day. Everyone very professional and courteous. The team that fitted the Windows surpassed my expectations re the speed and quality of work- getting it done in a day was a huge bonus to me.
