Hedge Landscape

They did a great in 2020 so we booked them to do the landscaping again in March of 2021. We waited and waited for the last 2 months and they never showed up. My husband called them and was always told "next week" but we gave them 5 weeks and then asked for a refund which they issued. We are understanding people and understand that this year has been difficult on businesses.

If they would have just been open and transparent with us and explained that they are unable to fit us in this year, we would have still booked with them next year. However the lack of communication of their end lost them our business forever. I felt like we were getting the runaround and constantly being told that any day now they would come and they never did.

We hired Hedge to completely renovate our lawn. Instead of the traditional tilling of the exiting lawn, they added a layer of top soil and seeded that. We encountered several problems with the results from their job. Firstly they did not lay down very much grass seed, so it came in very patchy. They also did not follow directions and "renovated" areas they weren't supposed to.

And worst of all, the top soil they provided was littered with existing quack grass seeds. There are thousands in my yard, and there isn't any cool season grass herbicide for it. Essentially, I need to start over or manually pull each one out. Tried reaching out to them with no response.

This company shared personal contract information with a tenant of an apartment complex that they service. They told me that the owner of the apartment complex was cheap and Hedge wasn't making money by performing mowing/landscaping services for this complex. Therefore, Hedge wouldn't hold up to what they were expected to do per the contract. Anyways, that's between the apartment complex owner and Hedge.

The main reason I'm leaving this review is because when Hedge does their mowing/landscaping it's bad. They miss spots, do not weed eat, tear up siding with their mowers, and don't keep up on the mulch beds. Don't get me started on snow removal. Wow, their crew doesn't know how to plow a parking lot in a apartment complex. I would not recommend their services at all for any commercial or residential places.

Great experience with this company. They recently completed work on my retaining wall. The project was completed on time and on budget with great communication throughout the process. Highly recommend.

This company is top notch in regards to their quality and their customer service. They built a retaining wall for me which was on a very steep slope with not a lot of room around in which to work. The results were outstanding and they were very easy to work with

I scheduled hedge landscaping in december and they came as soon as the lawn needed mowed in April without having to remind them or call. We were just about to take time out of our busy schedules to mow, it is so nice to look outside and see your lawn has already been taken care of. They take the worry out of lawn care at an extremely reasonable rate.

They are fast and they don't come too early in the day so that they are waking you up! I had a slight issue with the fence not being latched once and my dog got out but the owner was kind and courteous and resolved the issue promptly! These guys care about their business and your lawn!

Please hire people who know how to drive. One of your drivers that was in a broad st / main st exit lane on 270 with a dead stop line pulled right out of line and drove his vehicle right into my lane mind you I was going 68 mph.
