Founded in 1973, Hardt Electric is one of the most reputable and reliable electrical contractors in Chicagoland. Our roots stretch back to the 1930s when Carl Hardt founded C&H Electric to repair electric motors. Eventually, Carl's three sons joined his business and in 1973, the business split in half, with sons David and Bill Hardt founding Hardt Electric.

Today, each member of the Hardt Electric team is an expert in their profession, with years of experience dealing with the unforeseeable circumstances the construction industry presents. In addition, we partner with teams of architects, engineers, manufacturers and suppliers to further strengthen our foundation in the industry.
