While they are best known for eating your food and invading your home, millions of people are actually allergic to cockroaches - an allergy so strong, that you may not even need to be in contact with them to trigger an allergic reaction. Cockroaches can even be deadly to those with asthma, and may spread bacteria like salmonella.

Bed Bugs

Bed bugs are oval, chestnut-brown insects and are flattened from top to bottom. Adult bed bugs measure about ¼ inch in length. Bed bugs grow by molting several times. Baby bed bugs, nymphs, look very much like the adults, except they are smaller. There are five molts, and each bed bug phase must have a blood meal to be able to molt to the next stage.

Ants

Ants are a common invader of homes in eastern Pennsylvania. Some ants invade pantries and will swarm any food that has been found. Others, like carpenter ants, live in trees and wood in and around a structure. Damage to wood in a home from carpenter ants, could be an expensive repair!

Service was excellent. Representative was great about explaining what he was doing, why and how. Gave me good information about the critters he spotted. Warned us about some damaged wood around the garage that we had not even noticed, and threw in some advice about the hornet nest hanging from a branch of a borough tree over our driveway.
