Fist off - I had an excellent experience from the quote with Geoff Turner to installation with his PM Jeff to the gutter installers. I have used or should I say I have refereed Gilpin Roofing due to my friendship with Geoff Turner and saw the end results from the work on their houses. But this time it was for me at my newly purchased house. I did seek 3 quotes its what I do.

But although Gilpin was not the cheapest nor the most expensive, they were the most responsive and easiest to speak to and schedule. From the products they quoted to the new skylights and duration it would take to complete the roof was all explained and top quality. The roof they replaced was OG 1985 so you can imagine their would be some extra costs.

The day of installation kicked off at 0700 and was completed by 1400. They worked very efficiently and explained and showed me areas outside their work that would need to be fixed near my chimney and even referred another contractor to fix that issue. Overall I am happy that I used Gilpin for my own roof and new gutters, worry free and great company to work with.

We hired Gilpin Roofing because they were prompt in replying to our request for a quote. Their quote was the best. They gave us copies of their licenses and insurance. They showed us the quality of their product. They scheduled within a week and completed a beautiful job within two days. We were very pleased with Geoff and Jeff, with whom we worked. The roofing crew was wonderful. They did a great job. Clean-up was excellent. We highly recommend Gilpin.

We have used Gilpin Roofing for years at our business. We recently needed a roof repair and called them to request service. They were quick to come out knowing our need to have it repaired right away due to a leak in the building. We were quoted on the spot before they performed work and the repair was done with quality work at a fair price. We will definitely call them again if needed and certainly would refer them to friends and family.

After a storm had damaged the roofs at the business park, we contacted Gilpin Roofing for estimates on repairs. This was an insurance claim, and Steve Gilpin was able to give us the estimates and repair all the roofs on 14 buildings in the office park. They did an exceptional job, and did not interfere with any of the tenants daily business activities, the crews were very professional, and cleaned up every day after they finished the job.

They did an amazing job! Steve was a pleasure to speak with and his tech Jason arrived right on time if not a little early which was great for us. He knew exactly what the problem was when we explained what was going on. He was very quick with the fix and did it right the first time, which is more than I can say for the people who made the roof originally. I wouldn't recommend any other company than Gilpin Roofing!

I hired Gilpin Roofing to install a ridge vent and replace roof caps on my house. They were always on time, very professional, and really listened to what I needed done and did what they said they would do. They even came back quickly to fix a leak I noticed after the job was done. Their repair guy, Jason, is one of the best contractors I've ever worked with and I've worked with at least 50 over the last 5 years at my house and rental property. Highly recommend this company!

Just had roofs replaced by Gilpin Roofing at two different homes. If other contractors did business like this company, major home projects wouldn't be a dreaded stressful event. Gilpin Roofing did an excellent job replacing my roof. I was provided a concise, detailed estimate. When the raining weather cleared the trailer for the tear off was placed the night before. The crew arrived at 7:15am to promptly begin work and I was notified on the progress via email. They did a great job on the cleanup afterwards so much that my adjoining neighbor said he was impressed that they did such a good job cleaning up his entrance way too. They definitely have my recommendation.

Outstanding roof repair service from the initial phone call to the follow-up after the job was completed. The phone call to schedule the visit for the estimate for the roof repair was very straight forward, quick, and friendly. Steve visited the same day to provide the estimate. The job included replacing the chimney flashing, replacing a couple of damaged shingles, resealing around the vent pipes, and checking the entire roof for other problems.

The repair crew arrived on time, was very meticulous about their work, and completely clean up. They took extra time to find shingles to match the 20 year old shingles. I would hire Gilpin Roofing again with no reservations.

They did a great job. I had a total roof replacement and the entire process was seamless. The crew showed when agreed, the work was fast, and with the excpetion of having a new roof I couldn't even tell anyone had been there (no debris, no trash, no tire marks!). There were zero suprises on the bill and was one of the easiest home repair transactions I've had in a long time.

Va. to totally remove and install a new roof on my home in Norfolk. Steve, his office staff, Tina and crew were great to work with. Tina was thorough and promptly addressed any administrative concerns and the crew arrived early and ready to work all three days. They addressed any questions that we had and they are a Class A Contractor. Efficient and very organized, they took their time to do the job right and replaced my entire roof.

I sustained no damage to my property. They thoroughly cleaned up. My husband checked the surrounding area of the property and could find no leftover trash, debris or nails. Steve came out three times to check on the progress of the work, and at the conclusion, thoroughly inspected the roof replacement and again answered any questions my husband and I had.
