I was very happy with all aspects of the work by Fireplace & Granite. Very good price for my two new bathroom countertops. Great selection, no job too small, professional staff. The installation was fast and perfect. Be sure to use the plumber they offer. He is one of the installers, so no juggling of contractors, no down time without faucets. Plus, his fee was waaay better than my 2 quotes.

Travis made great recommendations and the installation crew was awesome. The timeframe from picking out the granite until installation was within 2 weeks. We are very please. Great company!

They have hundreds if not thousands of pieces of granite to choose from. I needed a less expensive type of granite for a rental house and they were able to accommodate that request. I checked with about four different granite vendors and they were the most reasonable.

Fireplace and Granite is top of the list for countertops/installation. Our sales rep Dale was great through the entire process. My wife is on cloud 9 with the finished product. Highly recommend this be your first and only stop.

My review is based on customer service and work services. Tracy was supposed to come and measure our kitchen, she ran into something so she couldn't come (understandable). She send me a email with an estimate based on my own measurements. It was high! So I told her we would only do the granite and get the backslash done with someone else. Just because we didn't get all the add-ons she wanted to sell us, she stopped contacting us and never again got in touch with us. So I went and got then done with someone else for half the price.

I worked with Travis and he was very helpful working with our budget. The countertop for our kitchen is beautiful. I recommend this company for all your countertop remolding needs. The staff who installed the countertops made sure everything was right before they left. They were great!

Nice showroom and selection. We came prepared with measurements and our current fireplace information as we wanted to get started as quickly as possible. After an awkward greeting and the staff trying to decide who was going to help us, I filled out the necessary paperwork and was told someone would get in touch with us to go over the quote the next day.

After 4 days, I sent a follow up email again giving the requested information and asking when we would get a quote back for the scope of work. That was exactly a month ago and we never heard back. Found another company in the meantime that was able to accommodate and deliver on our project.

We recently had quartz kitchen countertops installed and are very pleased! The staff are wonderful and did an excellent job from helping us with our selection of quartz and sink to measurement and template, installation and cleanup. Fireplace & Granite has an excellent team that is professional, hard working and caring. Highly recommend checking them out. We couldn't be happier!

This is an excellent, fair company that deserves your business. We sought a quote for cutting down an existing piece of granite when we bought our new home. Our salesperson, Amy, was very responsive and was able to quote us just with pictures of the piece. When I put down a deposit I was immediately contacted by scheduling, and they were very flexible with working around what was best for us based on the construction we were doing.

The technicians who came out to our house arrived several hours early, even after we confirmed the time, which did take some finagling. But, the tear out and install processes were both very fast. I'm saving the best for last. After the install, I received a final bill that was several hundred dollars lower than the quote we'd agreed to. This company evaluated the work they'd done for us versus what they'd estimated, and determined we did not owe them as much as they thought we might.

This was a total surprise and very appreciated. The truth is, we would've never known if they were not honest. I will recommend them to every person I ever meet who has granite needs!

I found this store on Google, while searching for fireplaces and countertops. Took the 40 minute drive to look at merchandise, but well worth the drive. I was able to view the products of interest, and gain insightful information. The people who helped me, Michele and Travis were very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Both took time to explain their products, in detail, which I needed. Again, definitely worth my drive.

We love our new island countertop! This is our second time working with Fireplace & Granite Distributors. They were initially recommended to us by our realtor- they did great, quick work installing granite countertops and tile backsplash before we put our old house on the market. When we wanted to redo the island in our new house we got multiple bids but definitely included them in the mix.

Their price was definitely the best, Amy is great to work with as a designer, and once we picked out our material (quartz in White Drift) it was very quick to get everything measured and installed. Could not be happier with the finished product!

After a year of trying to get someone to take our money and remodel our fireplace, Fireplace & Granite Distributors welcomed our business. I would give them a five star but their front office staff is difficult to get ahold of - however don't let this dissuade you. They were able to reuse my existing marble surround and hearth and saved me thousands of dollars by doing that. The installer was prompt, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable and the end results looks flawless! I absolutely recommend!

Went through the quoting project for bar cut down and countertop replacements. Compared to other quotes they were competitive and easy to work with. Did not move forward because I was able to find an installer that allowed me more options (sink drop in shape etc). But would recommend from the experience I had!

I really enjoyed working with this company. Not only did I get granite for my kitchen at an UNBEATABLE price. (No joke, I got a quote from 3 other companies and FGD blew them out of the water) Carey was the best from the get go. I had a little trouble with scheduling to get my template made, but it was resolved. The installers were prompt, worked hard and got the job done in a reasonable time. Overall, wonderful experience, excellent pricing and I LOVE my counters. *disclaimer, I did the tile backsplas, which is why it's not perfect FGD did not do that*

We needed a new countertop and backsplash, and visited several companies in Charlotte before stopping in at Fireplace & Granite in Concord. We were greeted warmly, and provided with straightforward, no-nonsense estimates for the countertop and backsplash. Our final cost was significantly lower - for the exact same products with high-quality installation - than any other installer we consulted.

The installation was done within a week of signing the contract, and completed on-time in one day including reconnecting the kitchen plumbing. The installers were first-rate professionally and personally, and we could not be happier with the results. We recommend that anyone looking for a countertop or backsplash get an estimate from Fireplace & Granite before committing to an installation. Thanks for one of the best home improvement experiences we've ever had!

We are very disappointed with Fireplace and Granite Distributors. A lady from there came to our house to give us a estimate for remodeling our bathroom. This was on Friday, September 21st. She said she would email us a estimate no later than the following Tuesday. We waited until Thursday and called to see why we had not heard from them. We were told that was not normal and she would check with the lady who came by.

It is now Tuesday, October 2 and still no call or email. I know she has our phone number because she called to set up the time for the estimate. I think we are thru with them. I wanted to give them ZERO stars but I couldn't post this until I gave them a grade.

Amazing customer service, extremely knowledgeable, and did a wonderful job installing my marble and lining up the seams - we couldn't be happier with the finished product. They also hone marble which apparently few other fabricators offer.

We have had a very good experience with our granite and back-splash. Everyone has been nice and very helpful. The only issue we had was when the granite installers were 3+ hours late which meant they were at our home until around 9pm. They did a great job, though. The back-splash installers were on time the next day and they also did a great job. The granite and back-splash are incredibly beautiful and we are so pleased with it!

The prices are reasonable and there was never any sales pressure. Overall a wonderful experience! Very good group of people. I will definitely call them again when we are ready to do other projects in our home.

We are in the process of having a wood burning fireplace converted to electric. This is a custom job being that the shroud piece must be cut to fit the existing opening and all the wiring is hidden. The first firebox was bent and damaged and the heat did not work. The heat works on the second firebox but the shroud piece does not fit because the wrong size was ordered.

The installer has been to our house twice. When he comes back the third time, we should have the correct shroud piece. The glass front we requested wasn't included on the initial purchase order so that should be with the installer when he comes back a third time to finish our job. I'm still giving this company 4 stars. My reason is simple.the customer service is EXCELLENT.

Each problem has been addressed quickly. The installer is extremely well-mannered. The office staff are polite and courteous. I know (in spite of the hiccups we've experienced) the finished job will be done right.

Every countertop I have was done by F & G and they are spectacular! The service is amazing and the counters are perfect! The prices were what drew me in, but the product and staff are what brought me back!

Apparently this place does not need your business or money. We have tried to give them our business (upgrade our gas fireplace). We talked to one salesperson and never got a return call as promised. We decided to give them another try a few months later and we were told she was no longer there, but would be taken care of. We picked out what we wanted and were told the owner had to give us an estimate.

He took a couple of weeks, but did finally show up for that. Another week or so went by and he called for our email address (which we already gave) but I did call back and give it to him so he can email our estimate. That was approximately 3 weeks ago. NO ESTIMATE, no call, no nothing. I will NOT be giving them a third try.

We just had Fireplace & Granite put in granite countertops and a tile backsplash. They did our previous kitchen as well and as repeat customers we couldn't be happier. It looks fantastic and changes the whole look of our home.

Natural stone ledger panels can be used in fireplace Surrounds, on barbecue islands, outside as home enhancements and even as a backsplash design or an interior wall. A friend of mine just had their new granite kitchen installed and it is amazing!

I was looking to replace a double vanity in our master bath and wanted granite but thought it would be too costly. I went to both Lowe's & HomeDepot, but their price was way too high, plus the people I worked with at both "big box" stores didn't know their product very well. I left them and drove to Fireplace & Granite in Concord. Unlike the two big store Tracy couldn't have been more helpful.

She made recommendations, showed me the large selection of granite to choose from, then gave me an estimate on the spot. Based on my experience I placed my order that day. A few days later a member of their staff come to my home to measure and make use the proposed granite and the two sinks would fit. Then within 7 days after meruresents were confirmed the granite was ready for installing.

The installation crew removed my old counter. They were also very considerate of the walls, cabinet and other item in my house making sure they were not damaged as they worked. The installation was great and our new two sink vanity top looks fabulous. I couldn't expect more; quality, a good looking product, fast delivery, great price and good people, from the Tracy through the installers all exceeded my expectations. Based on my experience I highly recommend Fireplace & Granite for your remodeling needs.

I am astonished by the reply. My appointment was on a Thursday. It was 3 weeks before I posted anything on Yelp. There was NO snow nor bad weather during that time. I have email and texts to prove how I was treated. That is why the tile company in which they sell took care of my problem. Fireplace & Granite have to pay dues to be able to sale this product.

If they get to many more complaints, this tile company will take away their rights to sale it. Nice try with the lies. I have dates, times, emails, tests to prove my position. This happened way before bad weather. Shall I post everything I have? Perhaps you need a customer service makeover, and apologize. Apology? Still haven't heard that yet. So customers let that tell you something. Excuses excuses and lies.

I was able to get granite counter tops this past summer-an upgrade I had been thinking about for a long time, and it changed the entire look of my house! Tracy is such an asset to the company, and she is extremely accommodating and helpful.

My contractor sent me to this business for a bathroom counter top. After a frustrating 2 weeks of trying to communicate with them followed by one of the men from their cabinet shop coming to my home being rude and doing sloppy work, I cancelled the counter top. The attitude when I complained was one of disinterest. They refunded my deposit without a problem. One bad apple should not distinquish a company but an attitude of disinterest in good service is not acceptable.
