At Essense Interior Design, we use an integrative approach, weaving together design elements and resources to synchronistically create environments of beauty and wellness. We balance principles of sustainability, feng shui, and environmental wellness to create beautiful, organic spaces for clients' lives.

We are certified as a Master Home Environmentalist Volunteers (MHEV) at EID. As part of our core business mission at EID, we offer environmental home assessments through the American Lung Association. We offer these assessments as an integral part of our initial design consultation for our clients as desired.

I have used Essense Interior Design for my prior and current home and love both of the results. The owner/designer is amazing! She takes the time to understand your likes and dislikes while weaving in her design techniques and ideas. Each of my homes were very different- one more modern in styling and the current one historic yet the results were outstanding.

Carole O. of Essense Interior Design. has helped me with several design projects, with beautiful results each time. Carole has a real eye for color, and a knack for finding beautiful fabrics. She custom designed a lamp and lampshade for me when I presented her with a bargain-basement vase. The lamp is really beautiful. The colors Carole selected for my living and dining rooms always draw compliments and give my home real character.

She is currently helping me with colors for my den, working from my art work and a pillow cover. I love the colors she suggested, and look forward to seeing my beautiful den newly painted. I wouldn't dream of making a color choice without consulting with Carole!

In visiting with a friend shortly after her home remodel was completed, I was in awe with the ambience and grace it presented. We talked about the process she had gone through and how very important her designer was in having all the pieces --- from furnishings and accessories to color --- fit together. I know what I like when I see it.

Carole created a kitchen and dining room space that enhanced the living room area of my home. She suggested colors for my walls that embraced the diversity of my artwork. She encouraged me to not only think about what I wanted in those spaces but how it would make me feel when I entered those spaces during the morning, afternoon or evenings.
