We earned our roofing stripes in the hurricane recovery efforts of Katrina, Wilma, and Ike.For us roofing started as a family affair. Michael Douglass learned the roofing trade from his father. Nine years later he decided to get fully state certified, licensed, bonded, and issured so we could to start our roofing company in 2013. In our personal and professional lives, we keep principles of integrity, good communication, and determination.

Was convinced to claim an insurance loss by their sales person and was told to sign a contract so they could communicate on my behalf with the insurance company. What they fail to mention is the contract has a fine print that has a cancelation policy with a $5000 cancelation fee to cover liquidated damages. After they did nothing to communicate on my behalf and after repeatedly trying to contact them I canceld and now they are trying to say I owe them for absolutely no work on their behalf.

Five stars is not enough. This is a top notch company. Everyone we talked was knowledgeable and polite. They went way beyond to answer any questions we had. Project was done in a timely manner. Good communication. The roofing team was very polite and very respectful of our property. Excellent job done. I highly recommend this company

Douglass Restoration has very knowledge associates assisting through each step of roof replacement. Alicia was very responsive and helpful working through insurance approval. Ashley and others in the office provided updates regarding scheduling and were very helpful detailing the steps to expect once on the schedule. The roofing crew did a fabulous job on installation.
They were very careful to put tarps down to catch roof debris and were very thorough with cleanup. They walked the yard numerous times with the magnetic rake to pick up nails. Bailey is being very helpful in getting the final insurance paperwork finalized.

Douglas Restoration has been amazing to work with on my new house. They provided a quote, got me scheduled and did my roof in just over a month. The office staff is wonderful to work with and always answered my questions quickly. It is hard to have a roof put on from 1000 miles away, but Douglas Restoration made it very easy! We had a very small tile replacement repair needed caused by a fallen palm frond. The insurance underwriters required that it be fixed by a license roofing company. We contacted multiple roofing companies. We either got "the job is too small." or we received no return call after leaving a message; except from Douglass Restoration Inc. After explaining our problem to Amanda, the scheduling assistant, she spoke to the owner Stephan.
He agreed it would be too costly to send out a crew, so he responded with his father, Mike, to fix it for us. They are extremely professional. Amanda responded in a timely manner to schedule the repair and Stephan fixed it quickly. I cannot say enough good things about Stephan and Mike Douglass. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a new roof or a roof repair.

Douglass Restoration from start to finish were Fantastic. My insurance co. would not renew our policy at the beginning of hurricane season! i never had a claim but my roof was 22 years old with damages. Hurricane ELSA was on its way.these guys were there for us EVERY STEP OF THE WAY.their communication was great, there service was great.i went to my local shingle supplier they said they were sold out and could not guarantee delivery. Douglass said give them a choice of 3 colors and they got me my number 1 choice. i did read the BBB reports on Douglas and 3 other companies that i knew the name of. Douglass responded to every review where the consumer had a complaint.i felt assured after reading every companies revues, some people are harder to please than others.i did not know of Douglass before my experience with them. from the very first fellow that came down to check my roof until the very end when they came to pick up the finial payment which they got 2 weeks late since i stopped my mail due to our summer vacation.they were extraordinary in their service and communication.

Douglass Restoration has been a Godsend! Their staff from Alisha, to Gina, to Steve, to Joe, and to everyone I didn't name. Everyone has been top notch, very personable and attentive. I've never felt like anyone was trying to "get one over" on us. Getting us connected with the law firm without us knowing that was even an option was the beginning of our world turning around for the very best that God has for us.
And other than a little pip of miscommunication early on with the scheduling of when workers would be at the house and the fascia board getting mortar dripped on it (which we hadn't gotten to see anyone to point it out, so. lack of communication on our part), we've been nothing but impressed and very appreciative. The customer service and care have brought tears of joy, especially with the first heavy rain and no leaks!
I just remember sitting in the mortgage office with Steve and him impressing upon the agent to please expedite things so the project could get started promptly and before hurricane season was in full force. Thank God! I also recall Joe coming by daily to check on the delivery of some supplies that were delayed and keeping us in the loop throughout.
And recently they re-sealed the back room roof, seeing how it can't be replaced unless the entire room is redone. And our man Joe did a great job of that! God put it to the test with some steady heavy rain yesterday. And, no leaks! From the time I spoke with Cheynne, a reprehensive for Douglass Restoration, Inc who went up on my roof and took pictures and then helped me claim the damage to my insurance company. She was very supportive and actually helped me with the information that the insurance company would be asking for my claim. She met with the adjuster that the insurance company sent.
The people in the office were very helpful, from Francesca the sales manger on down. I would recommend Douglass Restoration, Inc to replace your roof. They did a professional job replacing my roof with no problems.

Where to start. I called Douglas Restoration mid to late February about coming to take a look at my roof after I heard a big branch land on my roof in the middle of a windy night. In the beginning, they were extremely motivated and quick to respond. Cameron came out, promised me there was sufficient damage, "easy claim" and "we deal with your insurance company all the time." I filed a claim.
There and on the spot in front of him. Because this company is there "every step of the way." After the phone call, Cameron informs me that when the insurance adjuster calls and makes an appt, that he 100% wanted to be there and make sure he pointed out everything needed to get my claim approved. Guess what? Cameron never came. He agreed to be there via text and just proceeded to never respond to me again.
The adjuster told me there was not sufficient damage (big surprise), and that a test on the tiles or whatever could be done immediately to show otherwise. Called Cameron. Nothing. 2 weeks go by. I call the number here on a google. "We are so sorry, this is not okay, I will contact the supervisor of the area and they will deal with you directly." Another 4 weeks later. nothing from anyone. Today, I get a call and text from an employee named Bonnie. Promising all the same stuff as Cameron who is no longer with the company. Saying how completely normal it is to go up to 90 days without hearing from anyone. Really?
It was your companies job to initiate the next step to counter the adjuster. Since then I lost 2 different friends who has interest in having their roofs inspected (they promise you 500 dollars off your roof per person). For obvious reasons they have no interest after asking me for weeks how my experience is going. To follow all that up, my insurance company sent a letter saying they won't be renewing me once the contract is up. Big shock. Overall this was a foolish and wasteful experience. Just another victim of seeing a facebook advertisement.
