Services
Filters
Report
Sand Filters can filter particles from 40 - 100 microns, and are sufficient to trap most large debris in your pool's water. These filters contain between 150 - 700 pounds of special filter sand, and must be backwashed when the pressure is above the desired range.
Heaters
Report
Swimming pool heaters can be the most complicated piece of equipment on your pool. Making repairs to pool heaters should be performed by a qualified professional. Some people will argue that a pool heater is simply a waste of money, because the sun can and will heat your pool.
Pool Pumps
Report
The pool's pump is the heart of the circulation system. Water is taken into the system through the skimmer near the surface and the main drain at the bottom, and/or through pipelines installed for suction-type cleaners.
Repairs
Report
Whether it's replacing a broken main drain covering, cutting out rusted rebar, or patching plaster, underwater repair work often can be done best by technicians in scuba gear. One reason is environmental. States that frequently experience drought conditions may establish temporary bans on draining and filling pools.
Tile Cleaning
Report
Our cleaning process can restore tile to its original color and beauty. We remove build-up on tile, Pebbletec, or natural rock. The state of the art equipment uses a environmentally-friendly mild abrasive micro bead that gently removes calcium, mold, mildew and hard water deposits.

This is the worst pool company service ever on the planet! I live in an 18 unit townhouse community where we have an HOA. Are HOA president, granted, is not the sharpest crayon in the box- an entirely different ball game LOL. Consequently she does not know how to address pool issues because she has not bothered to educate herself with regard to their operation.

That being said desert sparkle pools has been servicing this pool for 4 years. We needed major repairs, major updating- had to drain the pool, replace the motor etc., Because when they come to service the pool the service person spent 3 minutes picking up some leaves off the top and then left. As he was leaving I asked him how do you backwash this pool his response was the same way I backwashed all pools and walked out!

Because it's an HOA and I am not in charge of the pool they think that they can just talk to me like that. I then called the manager who came out and when I asked him similar questions like why are the skimmers not sucking leaves his response was the water is too high. When I asked why the water was too high he also walked out. I went and bought my own net and my own brush to service our pool because they failed to do so and after this major repair and renovation the idiot HOA president (sorry for the colored language, but if the shoe fits) continues to employ the people that put our pool in this condition to begin with! Ergo not the sharpest crayon in the box.

Have this been my pool I would have fired them on the spot. Furthermore after their continued employee within 3 weeks the chemicals of the pool were off the service person left chlorine tabs lying on top of the bucket which is toxic it produces chlorine gas they need to be tightly sealed in the plastic containers, the pump isn't functioning and the motors overheating once again.

When I saw the service person coming up to the pool I was driving out of our buildings parking lot and yelled at him to not use my net and brush because he will wear it out, assuming that he would ever brush or not anything to begin with. He then turned around and walked away without ever even entering the pool and then apparently after I left he drove through the parking lot yelling and screaming and then told the manager of his employee at Desert sparkle pool that I cussed him out.

This was untrue, I was yelling for my car don't use the net and the brush but how you interpret yelling from a car is entirely ones subjective opinion. It's difficult to know if you hear anything I said actually because he has earphones plugged in his ears listening to whatever it is that he listens to the entire time anyway. I spoke with George who I believe attempted to notify the proper people like Pam, the owner.

I requested that she call me back- any takers on a bet?! Crickets my friend, never heard another word. Overall this company clearly takes no responsibility for their actions. They do not service your pool they will let it go into complete disrepair, especially if you are with an HOA as I have read many other reviews confirming this particular niche.

When I say do not even consider using this pool company, you have been forewarned. I have had many homes with many pools with many different service companies in both California and Arizona and have yet to experience the neglect and lack of courtesy both professional and personal, that this company conducts itself. The best I can tell you is to ask a lot of questions and maintain some sort of supervision over anybody that you hire as we live in the times of nobody cares. Best regards.

This is the worst pool service ever! Stay away they charge hundreds of dollars to not do their job. They kept telling us they went to service our pool charging over $200 a month. After they had admitted to not going to service our pool after it had turned green unable to swim, they still wanted to charge their fees. The Pool could not be used this people are a scam. I don't understand how these unethical people are still in business. This is the worst experience i have ever had with a pool service!

I hate to complain, but after a few emails regarding the technician breaking one of our ceramic tiles for the waterfall, nothing has been done. I emailed Pam a few times.nothing! The tech does a good job, but the management is poor

After several phone calls on our part, we determined that Desert Sparkle was not going to honor their appointments, and send a tech out to take care of a clog that was preventing our pool pump (which we purchased from Desert Sparkle a year ago) from operating. We ended up finding another pool repair company who showed up when expected and even called first. You lost a good customer Desert Sparkle.

They phoned me immediately (and I had called right before closing time) and arranged to service my heater the very next day when I let them know I couldn't wait an extra day due to visitors from out of state. So in less than 24 hours I was up and running again. The entire staff I dealt with was professional, courteous, and personable. I can't thank them enough!

Desert Sparkle has done a great job caring for my pool for 3 years now. Their prices are competitive and they are extremely reliable. My pool has been in top notch shape for the whole time.

While there may be good pool companies out there in my area, this is the first one that I have come across who are very honest, very professional and know what they are doing. They are not a cut-rate company buy their prices are very fair and I am very comfortable with the people they send over and confident that their work will be great. When I have called them back about something, they were always willing work with me. I don't bother to call anyone else at this point.

After 1 year of owning my home I have been using the pool company that was present at the time of purchase. Just recently I switched to Desert Sparkle Pool Care, I had no idea my pool could look so good.

Our pool kept turning green for the longest time and eventually it got really bad after our filter stopped working. Desert sparkle found us a new filter and had someone come out and drain our pool and clean it. they were extremely helpful and got the job done quick. I would recommend them to anyone looking for dependable and reasonable pool care people.

This company did lousy service on our HOA community pool. Often someone would come out, leave their business card on the premises, then high tail it out of here without doing any skimming, brushing, adding chlorine, etc. The pool turned swamp green. I smell a lawsuit coming on.

Desert Sparkle has serviced our pool for a year, and we've had only fantastic service from Sharon in the office, and Russ and Joe who ensure our pool is beautiful and running well. They make it so easy for us. We truly appreciate their proactive approach, always calling with an estimate and a solution, when something is out of whack. No surprises and our pool looks terrific! We highly recommend them.

Dave, one of the technicians at Desert Pool is very unprofessional and rude. He was very condescending to both my wife and in addition to quoting us a price and then once he started the work he tried to increase the price on us! I would suggest calling anyone but them.

Desert Sparkle installed a new spa/pool heater and did a great job. They went beyond the call of duty, and I highly recommend them.

I am a pretty handy person with do it yourself tasks, but when it comes to pool care, I am a fish out of water. For the the 5+ years l lived in Arizona, Desert Sparkle kept my pool in perfect condition. I supplied chlorine tablets, and they handled everything else. Thanks to Steve, who provided the weekly service, the only thing I had to consider when it came to my pool was which bathing suit to wear.

He kept me aware of any issues with the equipment, and even made friends with my dog. : In addition to the weekly pool service, Desert Sparkle handled the annual maintenance of my DE filter as well as any other repairs that came up. When my pool vacuum started to have issues, they provided me with a loaner unit until I could get a replacement. Pool vacuums aren't inexpensive, and they provided recommendations on which units were the best in terms of performance and value, which I appreciated.

When I moved out of state and my house was on the market for sale, I knew I did not have to worry about my pool continuing to look perfect. Since my home was vacant, Steve even put a wire tie on my back gate latch to discourage anyone from paying an unwelcome visit to my back yard. Nice to know someone was looking out for me! Overall I was very impressed with the service provided by Desert Sparkle. If you are looking for honest, reliable pool care, give them a call!
