Grant, Zach, and the crew did a great job turning our dirt back yard into an awesome place to hang out. They started on time and even finished ahead of schedule. I would definitely recommend them for your landscape needs.

I would select Grant and his team again without hesitation. They transformed our backyard from dirt to a lovely space with a grid of large concrete pavers and pea gravel. Grant helped me map out the project, steering me away from bad decisions, and addressed all of my questions. He came in on budget and the crew was considerate and meticulous - they had to figure out some things down to a few inches, and they involved me in day-of decisions. They are pros, fairly priced and friendly.

This was our first time using Cutters Edge - they were fantastic! We needed a large bush cut back, a pine tree trimmed up and an ornamental grass trimmed for spring. They were able to handle all of that plus our rose bushes and the cleanup! Both Jake and Killian were very professional and nice. Owner Grant showed up on time and provided professional suggestions along with a free estimate. Grant and his workers completed the project in three days with excellent results.

My original review, when the work was completed, would have been 5 stars. They were prompt, communication between owner was clear, all was great. Fast forward to one year and it has dropped to 1 star. The owner will not take responsibility for their shoddy sprinkler installation, which caused areas of sod to die off. Sod is not covered in their contract; however, irrigation work is, so this was definitely a breach of contract.

Long story short - There were five different areas where incorrect sprinkler heads were installed and by incorrect, they did not adequately water (head-to-head coverage) the surrounding grass area(s), which caused sod in those areas to die off. I heard every excuse in the book from Mr. Jacobsen, which I'm sure you will also read in any comments he leaves on this post.

But beware, he doesn't honor his contract. I was tired of hearing excuse after excuse, so I looked up the sprinkler manufacturer technical design documentation and found that the five areas, which continusely had issues, all had incorrect sprinkler heads installed. In some cases the sprinkler head installed projected water 10', but the grass area was 18'. 8' short?

My husband and I followed the manufacturer's technical design documentation and were able to fix all of the above issues ourselves and voil we no longer have issues! For those interested, I did seek legal advice because Mr. Jacobsen would not take responsibility. The lawyer started asking me what I wanted to receive from Mr. Jacobsen in the form of a refund. Did I want a total refund, a partial refund?

The reality is, I am ethical person and will not pursue Mr. Jacobsen in court because what I was asking for was minimal. Unfortunately, Mr. Jacobsen apparently is not quite as ethical.

Grant and his team gave us exactly what we wanted in our front yard. They turned our terrible, weed and rock filled yard into a beautiful modern space we will really enjoy. The price was great and project turnaround time was outstanding. we can't wait to work with them again on phase 2 of our grand plan 100/100

Cutter's Edge did excellent work on our back yard. They removed all the old, rotten railroad ties, built a new retaining wall and stairs, built a beautiful brick patio, and installed sod. Cutter's Edge professionals have been out to our yard on several occasions for small jobs. So we chose them to do our yard overhaul. They did a beautiful job. They took out the entire old yard and rebuilt a gorgeous patio and new grass area. Grant was communicative and responsive to our needs and ideas. His crew was professional and on time every day.

Yanik arrived to our appointment on time and was extremely helpful in working with me to define the parameters of the job. He was friendly, personable and straightforward. We needed to pull out some straggly volunteer trees and bushes and dead grass and convert to a low-water-use ground cover landscape that will allow us to add plants later. The bid was detailed so that I could decide on each part of the job according to the budget.

The price was fair and the work was completed quickly and on time. Grant was very helpful in working out the fine points of the contract with me and scheduling the job according to my needs. I highly recommend Cutter's Edge and would definitely work with them again.

We contacted Cutters Edge after letting our yard go to seed for a couple of years. It was a large job (one acre) and took multiple days. We initially met with Grant who helped us design a plan that would look neat and organized, rather than scruffy and unkempt. The Cutter's Edge crew added mulch, gravel, removed Oleander bushes, replaced old edging and added new edging to define different areas of the yard.

They also treated for goat's heads and nightshade which have been a problem in the yard that we found we were unable to manage. Cleanup was well done and workers were always on time. Grant will also help you to work within your budget.
