Chuck Solomon founded a successful home improvement business serving the Triangle (Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill) area of North Carolina that he sold in early 2012. He created a new business opportunity called Nest Home Improvement. Mr. Solomon has been a handyman most of his life, helping his dad and uncles with home projects starting at an early age.
He went on to college and graduate school and worked for non-profits, consulting, information technology and human resources fields but always did handyman/home improvement projects for himself and others. We launched our handyman business earlier this year and scoured the internet for resources to help us learn about the industry and the ins and outs of starting a handyman business. This book was by far the best resource we have found. It was extremely helpful with very practical tips on how to start and successfully grow a handyman business.
