Services
Roof Cleaning
Professional roof cleaning removes moss, algae, and debris using specialized techniques tailored to roof material. Our low-pressure washing preserves cedar shakes while eliminating growths that cause deterioration. Annual air blowing maintains cleanliness between deep cleanings, extending roof lifespan while improving curb appeal through restored appearance.
Roof Moss Removal
Targeted moss removal combines manual extraction with preventive treatments to address root causes. We apply oil-based preservatives that inhibit regrowth while repairing moisture damage. This dual approach prevents future infestations and protects against water penetration that leads to structural issues in cedar, tile, and composition roofs.
Roof Treatment
Our 100% oil-based Radcon treatment penetrates cedar shakes to block moss, algae, and fungus growth. The preservative restores natural wood appearance while creating water-resistant barriers that reduce expansion/contraction cycles. This treatment extends roof life by preventing UV degradation and maintaining material integrity against environmental stressors.
Roof Repair
Emergency leak repairs address immediate water intrusion while identifying underlying causes. Our technicians perform comprehensive inspections from attic to flashing, using blind-nailed cedar replacements and pipe jack replacements. All repairs include detailed diagnostics and written estimates before work begins, with five-year guarantees on completed repairs.
Re-Roofing
Full re-roofing services include material-specific installations meeting local building codes. We specialize in cedar shake and shingle replacements using premium CCA/CVG grades, along with metal and tile installations. Projects include ridge cap replacements and ventilation system upgrades to ensure long-term performance and energy efficiency improvements.

Bro moved to Idaho. I'm so sad! I really needed him in my life and the life of my 1890 Victorian home. UGH. Well, good luck out there, dude! For the rest of us in Portland, don't bother calling him - unless you need a recommendation for who to call.

Woke up to a soggy, dripping, kitchen ceiling during an atmospheric river event. Left a message with Sean @9 am. He called back @10am and said he could be there in a couple hours. He was prompt with a calm confidence that was comforting. Sean found the exterior leak that happened to be on the siding as opposed to the roof, did his thing, and the leak was stopped before he left. He even toured the rest of the roof to make sure there weren't any other potential problems.
He found none and made sure to emphasize that we shouldn't pay him until we were sure the leak was stopped for a few days. He wanted us to call him if it wasn't so he could come back and sleuth out the problem to get the job done right. Rates were reasonable, and he was able to answer all of my questions patiently and thoroughly. Highly recommended if you find yourself needing an emergency leak repair!

This company is truly top notch and highly recommend! Arrived on time for the estimate, quoted a very fair price. Once work started showed up exactly on time, work was impeccable with great attention to detail. Sean took great care to clean up and left our home and yard spotless from any residual mess and such. Had our Cedar Shake roof cleaned and treated, pressure washed our Ipe deck and Cedar hand rail. All looks brand new.

My 95 year old dad used this company on a number of occasions. They are responsive and thorough and if they make an error, they fix it immediately. I especially commend Sean Haney who came after hours with his two little girls who patiently waited for their father to fix my dad's small leak on 9/26/20. Businesses like this one are becoming more rare. They are tuned in to the client and that is to be admired.

We used Cedar Roofs NW recently to give our roof a cleaning and and shingle servicing, and I couldn't have been happier with their service. I've tried a few other roofing outfits in the past and outcome was noticeably better with CRNW. Our roof looks amazing! The price was competitive, but their service is what truly impressed me. Our job took 2 days, and they left our place very clean each day (roof cleaning is dirty work!).
They encountered some unforeseen troubles on our job from a prior inexperienced servicing as well as an u lucky mechanical failure on a new fan that they were replacing as part of the job. Both issues were addressed with out any complaints about the set backs. They treated the roof like it was their own and worked until our roof was in proper condition. That is the best quality you can hope for in a skilled professional. Our go too cedar folks from here forward. Thank you Guy and Sean!
