I began making furniture primarily for my own home.Along the way, I've been fortunate in receiving guidance and instruction from some notable furniture makers including Michael McDunn and Lonnie Bird. My leisurely pursuit has now evolved into a career path. As a former corporate financial executive, I've found significant gratification working in a peaceful shop environment where the predominant sounds are that of mallets tapping and planes scraping.

Cabinet refinishing is an excellent way to improve the look and feel of your kitchen at a much lower cost than buying new cabinets. We refinish cabinets in any stain color you prefer and in an endless variety of paint colors or faux decorative finishes. Moreover, cabinet refinishing is a much higher quality process than just painting your cabinets. We're not painters with brushes.

Wonderful job refinishing our front door! The large French doors had been cracked by weather and sun but after 2 days and a custom stain, they look good as new. The gentlemen were professional, courteous, and hard working; checked in multiple times to be sure we were happy with the work; and even cleaned up everything before leaving. It was a great experience. Thank you!

Our front door was a beautiful door when it was installed 29 years ago. However, it needed refinishing badly. We contacted Brendan Carpenter for the job. All I can say is not only did they meet our expectations but they exceeded them. Trey did an outstanding job & now my door looks brand new. Not only did he do a good job, he cleaned everything up and was very professional & friendly. I would recommend Brendan Carpenter for all your refinishing needs!

Brendan, Latra, and Art did a fantastic job bringing our kitchen into the 21st century! We had the typical 90s yellow oak cabinets and knew it would be a major undertaking to cover it all. We asked for cabinets to be modified and a hood added over the stove. Brendan met with us to go over all aspects of the job, listened to our input, and made suggestions.
They delivered precisely what we wanted. Great care was taken to protect our new floors and countertops. Everything was clean and put back in order after the job was finished. It's true we had to wait several months, but the wait, as well as every penny, was worth it! One thing we very much appreciate about Brendan and his team is that they are "old school." They show up when they say they will, do what they say they will, and are very meticulous. I was told "if you want the job done right, you hire Brendan." We couldn't agree more! Brendan was able to take a small piece of my childhood memory and turn it into a beautiful piece of furniture for me and my family to enjoy and pass down for years to come. He seems to love what he does, takes pride in his craftsmanship, and cares for what the customer is seeking. Can't wait for him to complete another project for me!

My husband and I recently reached out to Brendan about having our door refinished. He responded immediately and fortunately had some time that week to come get our door to refinished. Brendan and his crew (Tray and Art), were simply a pleasure to work with. Having all of our kitchen cabinets reworked in place is a very big deal in a household of 5, especially around Thanksgiving. From start to finish, everything went according to plan. All of the work was started on time and finished on schedule. The job site was kept extremely clean and great care was taken to ensure that the dust and fumes were confined to the work area. Having been a painter in a past life, I was particularly impressed with the time and effort spent prepping the cabinets.
When it comes to "finish" work, the devil is in the details, and no detail is as important as proper preparation of the surfaces getting treated. Everything was meticulously sanded and masked, and the results are beautiful. I would highly recommend Brendan and his crew to anyone who wants to get a job done right.

Brandon Carpenter was the best decision I could have made. I'm ver tall and so I wanted a custom desk my legs could cross under and also be a stand up desk. Brandon's design and attention to detail was impeccable. I also had him build a stand up desk for my son, a large window seat with shelves on either side and a large mud room cabinet. All of the pieces are absolutely gorgeous and perfect in every way. I did have a small adjustment to the file cabinet and he gladly fixed quickly and completely. I highly recommend Brandon Carpenter.
